Thank you for the interview! Dianne has a great outlook, and seems balanced and really pleasant. I find that it’s important to have interests and activities so that you have something to talk about when in a conversation. It keeps us from being boring, or always talking about the past, or about our aches and pains.
This was quite more riveting than I thought it would be! What a great talk!!!! You two should do more together. The ravages of time and gravity.... It would be FUN to hear JOHN's perspective, as this was more for the ladies.
Thanks so much for this interview, Catherine! I am 66, what I'm finding as the years go by is a new confidence despite my grey hair and wrinkles. It's a kind of growing into who you really are, if that makes sense! I sure wish I could have had this mindset as a younger person but it doesn't work that way. Blessings to you both xxx❤🙏
I think a video series on the subject of aging is a wonderful idea. Your mom is lovely, Catherine. Her hair color and style suits her perfectly. She's so fortunate to be as healthy as she is. I'm close to her age. I turn 82 in January. I stopped coloring my hair a few years ago and it was the right decision for me. The biggest challenge for me is major back pain which prevents me from traveling as much as I would like. I kept busy with my hobbies of quilting, reading, crocheting, and genealogy. I can honestly say I'm never bored. I'm looking forward to your next guest already.
You are both beautiful souls. Thank you for sharing your perspectives. We winter in The Villages...entering our 2nd winter in our winter peninsula paradise. I think you're right about pondering... I'm 64 and intend to focus on the balance between activity with pondering.
Your mom is beautiful and has such a good attitude about aging. That makes her attractive. She keeps active and doesn't isolate herself which is important for good mental health. I am now 71 and have been doing pilates for years however for the last few years i have been having muscle tears that have caused me pain. I've been doing a video at home. All these gals and guy doing it on this video are twenty something. I had to make the decision to stop. I actually felt down about it. I had to accept it and my strained muscles are slowly healing. I do more walking now and have considered using walking poles as it's suppose to build upper strength and burn more calories. If anyone out there uses them let me know how it has helped or not helped. Thanks.😊
@denisekarding1844 i use poles when we go hiking uneven terrain.... And they do work your upper body a little bit whilst you are walking! So I imagine it probably does burn a few more calories anyway. 😊
😊 I have been being told that my whole adult life even when I was 20 and she was 40 😊😊 Many people see the white hair of my albinism and equate it with me being older. Sure, I could have colored my hair, but I have tried to live my life being content with who I am....including albinism. On the plus side, my hair will never be gray. And literally hundreds of women have told me that if their hair could be my color instead of gray, they wouldn't keep coloring theirs....but I don't think there is anything wrong with or unattractive about gray hair, either. 😊😊 I like to think about all the money I have saved through the years by not coloring my hair. 😊
I feel like aging should not be a competition about who looks youngest.... Though I am thankful for you that you feel positive about the way you look.... Which is what I hope for for everyone. My hair is white due to albinism and has been this color my entire life other than a brief period when I colored it blue 😅 I am at peace with it by now. 😊
Enjoy Every Moment do
Thank you! Great conversation ❤
You 2 are lovely! Thank you for the great advice & outlook. Awesome video, as always. Much love.

Two beautiful women, inside and out. Thanks for your inspiring advice !

You two are delightful!
Your Mum is lovely. She is 15 years older than me but we look the same age! What a positive, stylish lady. ❤

Mom is about to be 80!?!?! 😮 she looks amazing! My passion is travel too!
Mom might consider getting highlights added from time to time to gradually move into grey(ish). 👍
That’s a good idea, thank you!
When I first clicked on - I honestly didn’t know who was who!!😅

At the age of 87, I never make appointments before 11 am. I look younger than both of these ladies. Her hair color is harsh.

I think this lady is talking about MY hair color.
