yes you can but not so much, 2 tbsp will be fine. Though the end result is great it tastes different with dried leaves, still delicious though!

This is a nice and different way to make curried chicken. I must say that in my home (Trinidad) we season our chicken with salt, black pepper, ginger, geera, green seasoning ( garlic, onion, culantro, pimento, thyme, pudina) before making curried chicken.

I once made prawn briyani for Christmas and put the yogurt while the sauce was bubbling away. OMG the entire thing split! Thank goodness I hadn’t had the prawns in. I had to start from scratch with the sauce. I have now learned that I should turn off the heat totally. And I temper the yogurt mix with a few spoons full of the hot curried sauce, then I add it. What a stress and what a lesson 😅 Regards 🇿🇦🇦🇺

Wow! Fennel, cumin, onions! Frying and aromatic. Perfect! And, what a beautiful kitchen! Wowtastic: fresh tomato, ginger and garlic zapped for a yummytastic puree! I'm lovin' it! Eat your heart out Micky D's! Haha! :)
Teaspoon of turmeric powder, teaspoon of chili powder and a teaspoon of coriander powder. Wow, Indian food is so sophisticated with so many complexities in the hidden flavours.
A blob of yoghurt to make it creamy, not good for me with milk intolerance but a dash of soya milk yogurt should do the trick.
Cooking low and slow. Could go in the Slow Cooker! If I had one!
Chicken thighs are not my fave and with bones even less desirable but they are cheaper and I'm guessing the bones bring out extra flavour and goodness. So, hey, you may have shown me a way to enjoy chicken thighs... Hum... would rather good old boring chicken breast though...
And, finally the chopped fenugreek / methi leaves, how beautiful!
I searched fenugreek because I put fenugreek seeds from a pack from the supermarket in the Asian section into a jam jar with boiling water, then soaked them overnight. They sprouted immediately! What a joy to have a seed that actually sprouts! I haven't decided on the best way to grow them on, but crossing fingers I will soon have a kitchen windowsill full of fresh fenugreek! Yay!
A greenhouse just for fenugreek is next on the agenda and I haven't even tasted the dish!
Can't believe you plonked that hot pan on top of your beautiful kitchen counter!
Finally, WOWTASTIC probably the most beautiful dish I have ever seen! Stunning! Full of rich complexities, utterly beautiful and LOVE the idea of trying one with spinach too!
Food is an art not a science. Chetna you are a very great artist, Picasso eat your heart out! And, a culinary genius!
