This is my favorite Chuck Norris movie . I loved the supercharged Ram. I remember thinking that was the coolest thing ever when dug out of that hole. It definitely would’ve been cool the see him go back to that character.
My fav of all Chucks movies, ever. Love the Wolf Music (whistling) Song at the start and end. So good, so fantastic. This is when he was young and able to do his stunts him self.
Norris’s older buddy has one of the greatest lines ever after watching the love interest get off a horse and walk away in riding pants. “I’d like to bite that in the ass, develop lockjaw and get dragged to death.” Still use it to this day.
Lone Wolf McQuade is a great entry in the neo-western genre. Chuck is probably best known for doing goofy B action flicks with Cannon Films, but I always seem to enjoy this movie, and Code of Silence a lot more. (Plus that .44 Magnum he wields really suits him). Also coincidentally, the original script for Code of Silence was meant to be the fourth Dirty Harry movie until it landed in Andrew Davis' lap, who retooled it into its own movie. In my opinion, it's Norris' best film and super underrated. Code of Silence and Lone Wolf McQuade should be talked about more, honestly.
Yup, I agree with that. "Code of Silence" is Norris's Best movie, because as a movie, the script is solid, as is the directing & the casting. "Lone Wolf McQuade" is Norris's best movie, because it's the one where he created his "persona," what every actor who becomes a movie star creates. After this it would continue not just into Walker, but also the "Chuck Norris Facts" internet meme, it all started with McQuade. And while it is no masterpiece, it is a good Action film. It is much better than "The Octagon," which is rather terrible as a film, but has the best showcase of Norris's Martial Arts ability. Personally, I think Norris's best acting was in the film "Hero and The Terror," where he shows a lot more range & vulnerability than anyone gives him credit for, and the film also deserves credit that, despite Norris's aura of invincibility, you really do feel a little nervous for him in the final fight. The movie is very underrated.
I own this movie. I’ve watched it more then 100 times easy. The beginning… “Stand up like a man so l can see you” To the beer saving him being buried alive Till that final fight. I love this movie!
Watched this one so many times growing up, wore out the bootleg VHS recording I had. Was super excited back in the late 90s when I found a used rental copy in good shape at a flea market. Now I've got the DVD, and usually watch it at least once a year.
If actress who played McQuades daughter Dana Kimmell had Chuck Norris as her father in Friday the 13th Part 3 Jason would have been obliterated for good
Great video. I grew up with parents who were action movie fans. So you better believe this played in our home. This movie really was enjoyable to watch and rewatch and one of Norris’ best.
I'd love to see you guys cover the TV series, 'Kung Fu', starring David Carradine. It's quite interesting to me as a filmmaker; Carradine really does evince kind of a monk-like aura and it's stylistically interesting too. Plus the way it draws on the Tao Te Ching still gives it philosophical heft decades later. You can also see how it connected a couple things for Quentin Tarantino (plugging eastern philosophy into the western genre, etc.).
@@KK-zb3xc I think in retrospect that's very true. Although according to Linda's book he was heartbroken. Maybe it was one of those blessings in disguise. I was happy in one of the Kung Fu revival tv movies that Brandon Lee played Carradine's son. I do think you are correct though.
One story about the final fight scene, which I believe because it fits with similar incidents, is that at one point, Carradine does manage to land a shot on Norris, making Carradine feel pretty good about his kung fu (keep in mind that his background is actually as a dancer, not a martial artist). Norris responds by promptly putting Carradine into the dirt before he can even realize what happened.
Lone Wolf McQuade is the only old Chuck Norris movie that I still love ever since i was a little kid in the 1980s. Movie was pretty violent and scary since people get hurt especially the daughter and her boyfriend. the final fight scene at the the end is still a classic but cheesy because of the organ piano music that plays
The Norris/Carradine fight doesn't HOLD A CANDLE to the Lee/Norris encounter.... David was just tooting his own horn with that bull$#it!! 😂 Carradine wasn't REALLY even a real "expert martial artist" (let alone a real fighter). He just played around with Tai Chi and $#it like that. Everything he learned, was only learned as part of him making an effort to aid in his "action" movie roles throughout his career, starting with "Kung Fu"... A role that SHOULD'VE went to Bruce (being it was HIS IDEA and everything)! Don't get me wrong... I absolutely love David Carradine,, but he WAS completely fulla $#IT!! 🤣
I watch this on Tubi the other day. It’s pretty cheesy on the action compared to today’s standards of course but still a fun watch. One of those movies that seem like it instantly transport you to the eta in which it came out & I love the 80s so I enjoyed it
Dayum dood. Your proficiency narrating these videos has greatly improved. Sorry I used to give u chit for how bad your first ones were lolol they just didn't sound natural. Well, you do now 👍
Chuck Norris won the 1983 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, despite having (in his last hand) a 2 of clubs, Jack of diamonds, a Joker, a Monopoly Get Out of Jail Free card, and a green 4 card from Uno😂.
I'm not sure anyone born after the 90's can survive watching "Lone Wolf McQuade." Chuck Norris endures over the course of the movie: His daughter being injured & witnessing her boyfriend's murder. His mentor being killed. His dog being killed (they would never, ever do this one today). Being beat up & buried alive in his truck. His daughter being kidnapped. And finally, his love interest dying in his arms. Kids today would go into shock witnessing just ONE of these... and then complain about it on the internet. So, to all the Father's out there, make your kids stronger, introduce this film to your kids early, toughen them up. Remember, Chuck Norris beat up the MPAA and made this film PG for their sake. Don't let it be in vain. .....The More You Know.
Although I've grown up a huge Chuck Norris fan, never liked Walker at all. The Lone Wolf film was amazing. Way better in story and content. Probably my favorite Chuck film of all time. Always got bored with the TV series.
I think I only hate lone Texas ranger because my stepdad loved it. He wasn’t bad to me. Anything I asked he would say he’s not my dad, ask my mom. But it turned out my mom paid the price. I wondered how mowing a lawn could cause that many bruises. When I got older and before she died, she told me what she went through for me.
Btw. As her cancer spreader into her brain and realizing we’re all synapsid through particles. I know there’s no god. If there is there’s no control. If we want a Heaven its something we need to create here and now. If we don’t we’re just destroying everything for the kids. So far, the use of gods is war waste. A way to hate
And seriously. I got into an argument in kindergarten about who’s uncle has the biggest pockets and my uncles pocket was bigger than anyone’s! At some point you gotta see the truth or die with a lie. Life is complicated are this is all we have. Stop thinking there’s something better when we’re gone. If you think there is another life you can look at who is using you
Lone wolf Mcquade was a good movie, and they set up the fight with Chuck and David well was a good fight scene but come on Chuck would kill him for real and would not even be a clsoe fight for real david Carradine is not even a martial artist but posed as one.
One of the most fun and rewatchable movies of Chuck Norris. Truly one of his best

Lonewolf McQuaid, Code of Silence, Missing in Action, Invasion USA and The Octagon are Chuck Norris 5 best films imo.
I hear the opening scene they did try to shoot at Norris but the bullets wouldn't come out and the guns wouldn't even fire.
Fantastic video! Just a heads up though in the opening scene Chuck is shooting a mac-10 not an uzi. Thanks again for another great video.

One of the best Chuck Norris films IMHO. David Carradine was such a badass in the film.
Was never a Chuck Norris fan but i do like this movie. Filmed in my hometown. You can still recognize some of the filming locations today.
