Andrew Scott instantly makes EVERY project insanely more awesome. Despite the dishy priest only being in the second season, it feel like he was in the show longer.
I thought that was always platonic, but they slept and she put the camera down, oh my gosh and then he still decided for god.....oh men...I feel so sad...
The rejection was the only way forward for Fleabag to grow and become a happier person about herself in the end. I'm so glad PWB followed through on that, even though we feel Fleabag's pain in that moment. Her sister is the one who likely gets the man she's in love with. That's enough for me. 🙂
@@thoso1973True. Although I hate how Fleabag tried to break his faith and relationship with God to choose a relationship with someone unequally yoked and no Holy Spirit in her at all. Until she and other demonic atheists realize they're deaf wrong about denying God, people who don't believe in Jesus shouldn't associate with people who do. Then again atheists will have a rude awakening when Jesus returns.
She wasn't trying to break his faith, she simply believes in something else than he does and they were arguing which path they should follow. They were equally true to themselves while acknowledging the other one's perspective. Then they fell in love with each other, which forced them to make a decision which path to follow. In the end they accepted their feelings for each other but knew they can't be together. They showed unconditional love and found peace with it besides the pain it caused. Maybe try to look at people with unconditional love too like the Bible teaches us instead of demonizing them.
Hey, did you noticed why at the end she told the audience not to follow her. Cause she found her peace and that's the whole point. One more thing He strictly mentioned her not to come at Church. And (may be) it means he'll come like last night. All my imagination.
That at 3:00 was tense!!! Me and my husband caught a repeat of Series 1 Ep 1 last night. We both remembered it as being extremely funny and rude = yah, grown up humour for a change! But all day I've kept grinning when I've remembered that line she says when the one night stand leaves in the morning....about questioning the size of her ....... !!!😂😂😂😂😂 Her being such a posh bird made it even more hilarious!!!😂😂😂😂
I'm only discovering this series now. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a series since Suits and Dr. House. !! A 3rd season please, if the priest wasn't killed by the fox!!
@@loulie1997 there is no way him giving up on priesthood would n having sex would still keep him in the church. Fleabag clearly isn't the type of person who can be religious
@@oldaccount6152That's another thing that Catholics get wrong. There's no where in the Bible where God said priests and nuns can't get married. What part of "It is not good for the man to be alone", do people not get?! Also as for the sin of premarital sex, if Fleabag got her shit together and stop blaspheming God’s existence they could've gotten married. Hint, hint to the unbelieving fools out there.
Ok, don't get me wrong, I love Andrew Scott to bits, but is he actually hot? As in genuinely attractive. I am a straight dude but I can look at some dudes and say, "Yeah, I can see that he is hot" like Henry Cavill, Brad Pitt, etc. With Andrew Scott, he seems like a good bro from the church softball league. Again, he is a fantastic actor, and as far as I can tell, a fantastic man, but what makes him physically hot for women?
Because the Anglican Church (the Church of England), which is almost twice as large as the Catholic church within the United Kingdom, also has priests, but they are allowed to marry and are not celibate. Catholic priests are supposed to be celibate.

Hi Trina!
Such a good actor pretending to be straight! Seriously
I read this in Andrew Scott's voice and I'm not mad that happened.
1:24 The way the older woman instantly understands every specific detail of her thirst for a priest is hysterical 😂 you know she's been there
I never thought I'd see him as something else as Moriarty but now he's the hot Priest
And now he’s Ripley
and he is also Adam
Yes, Father? 😏
Yes, Father? 😇

This priest gotta be related to mark Ruffalo. Its like im watching the hulk or 13 going on 30
OMG yes! And I thought I was the only one getting flashbacks of Matt from 13 Going On 30
Mark Ruffalo and Michael Keaton

Can't unsee Moriarty
there should be someone for the priests so they don’t go after the kids

I wanted him to have an atheist arc and be with her 😢
Maybe she could have had a theist arc and they could have met somewhere in the middle, where he gave up the cloth without loosing his faith

I think hes genuinely attractive but hes also very charismatic which makes him even more attractive.
he is fine physically, but it's his attitude that makes him very very charming!
@@sunnyBunny-oq5ru oh for real, I haven't seen him outside his roles but the ones he's played, his personality is just 🤲
Straight female here. Married too. I find him very attractive! Plus, Irish accent, that voice! He's like "Mark Ruffalo hot".
It’s his emotional vulnerability. Looks are good but he turns hot over personality almost alone
Why does the therapist ask if he's catholic? Aren't all priests catholic? Other religions have pastors, reverends, etc.
I mean. . I’m Episcopalian and I call mine priest and I’m not catholic. .
It’s because catholic means he can’t have sex or get married. Most other church denominations the priest is allowed to marry

there are other christian religions other than catholic, i believe those have priests. I think Judaism, Buddhism, and some other religions do too?

I don't find him hot either lol. Maybe because I'm part Spanish and seeing so many hot Spanish men as norms, the bar went so high up.😂😂😂
