Irony! The person who thought was an outsider of the McDuck family and did all their research of said family is actually now the closes duck to it! I love Webby so much tbh
Tbh, that’s exactly why I love this twist. Not only does it tie back to something that is seemingly unimportant from much earlier, but it makes perfect sense and it gives Webby possibly the happiest ending she could’ve gotten: becoming an official part of Clan McDuck.
Also kinda poetic that the Papyrus, the artifact from Donald and Della’s first adventure with Scrooge, is the one that reveals Webby’s parentage and is the subject of the last battle of the series.
I just kinda wish that May and June ended up with Scrooge as Webby’s sisters instead of being put with Donald and Daisy right off the bat. Could’ve been a tease for a possible sequel series with Webby, May, and June as the new focused trio going on adventures with their Dad.

Webby was obviously cloned from Scrooge's feather from the original quest for the papyrus when Bradford caught the feather. Then May & June were cloned from Webby making them all Scrooge's daughters. Thought I would clear that up for y'all :)

Scrooge is a male and Webby is a female. Also at the end of the Sword of Swanstantine episode, I thought Black Heron had one of Scrooge’s feathers, not one of Webby’s feathers. Disney really had rushed this show in 2020 and 2021 and Webby being Scrooge’s daughter wasn’t really good. It was really weird.

Tbh, the most likely theory is that they used Black Heron’s DNA to make Webby, May, and June, as she was one of the foremost figures of FOWL.
It’s notable that May and June refer to Black Heron as their mother. Could be a reference to that.

Yes, I remember studying their characters now. Scrooge's especially. And even at 6 years old he was a repellently clever, but also ludicrously energetic and wild little boy. That must be where Webby gets her sense of adventure and constant enthusiasm and confidence from, because its certainly not from her 007-style-self-composed-at-all-times grandmother.
Honestly, this is one of the luckiest plot twists in history. Webby grew up with her dad all along. Granted, not directly, but still. Not to mention, she was his biggest fan the whole time as well, so yeah.
I feel like the writers of the show were trying to hint that Webby is the daughter/clone of Scrooge McDuck since the beginning

So if Scrooge McDuck is Webbie‘s father correct me if I’m wrong but if he’s her father were they saying that because she is a clone Webbie were they saying that the reason why she is his daughter is because they cloned him or because he actually had a child because I’m pretty sure they did not specify whether she was his daughter that was his legitimate actual child or that he actually cloned Scrooge to make Wehbe because if you look back they didn’t say although they may be referring to that as probably not but here’s the crucial part they didn’t really specify whether it was true that she was cloned by Scrooges DNA or that Scrooge actually had a legitimate actual child which means he has married somebody and she is no longer here with us and they’re keeping it secret I mean I don’t know if anyone else was thinking this or not but just go back and re-listen to it or re-watch it they literally don’t specify either way so this may be kind of like stupid like dumbfounding maybe but I’m just throwing it out there cause that kind of stumped me and if you think that I’m just you know Saying this to start a theory or some thing like a conspiracy just go back and rewatch the episode it’s there in the editing they didn’t specify either way so maybe if anyone’s got any ideas of why that would be great just thought you know

When Ducktales first came on in 2017 I always thought went was beakley’s granddaughter like in the original series in 1987. I thought webby’s mom was Edna vanderquack? They didn’t need to make went Scrooge’s daughter I never thought of that before season 3. Wasn’t webby’s original plan to have season 4 be her season and wasn’t that cut off because of Covid.

tbh, I kind of expected that Webby is a clone and is related to June an May base on the promo where april is missing and Webby is with the two. I didn't expect webby to be a clone of scrooge tho but the twist isn't really that mind blowing. In fact I kind of hated it. It ruins the whole lesson that a family can still be a family even if their not blood-related.
Actually I think that makes the message stronger. Webby thought her and Mrs. Beakley were blood related. When she discovers the truth she's initially angry at Beakley for lying to her, but after that it doesn't change a thing. Mrs. Beakley is still the one who raised her, and Webby still sees her as her grandmother. that's why the end she hugs both Scrooge (her blood family) and Beakley (her adopted family)
