Superbe réalisation jusqu'au final avec ces touches de blanc qui illuminent votre sublime vision!!! Je CROIS en vous et en votre ART qui me fait voyager loin à chaque fois! Merci pour cela!
You struck the deepest part of my heart with those things you’ve said about believing and putting yourself (myself) out there ❤️. Big love and a heartfelt thank you for your wonderful message 🌹❤️🌹
I just saw this video and, since it's a year old, you may not see this....but, not only was the art piece beautiful, so was the quote at the end. It got me so that I just ordered the book. Thank you for your courage!
Thank you Shawn for your gift of creation and sharing here. What a welcomed and unexpected duo. Art really does bring us to some interesting places inside - so rich!
Thanks so much for your encouragement! I’m working on weight loss but slipping and sliding. I always appreciate your personal words at the end of your painting sessions. May you be encouraged today!
What I find most inspiring when I watch your videos are your messages at the end. They always seem to resonate with me and inspire me in some way. You are also loved.
Shawn, I just love this piece! I have been following you for months and if I don't catch a video of one of your creations or hear your voice every day, I don't feel like my day is complete! You truely are an inspiration. I am a "newbie" and have learned so much from you. Thank you so much for your inspiration and your teachings to us.
Shawn, I think 🤔 this is superb and stunning and beautiful..... I really love 💕 this I hope it’s going on your wall. It’s something that you look 👀 at and see something different and beautiful each time you look at it. I’ve subscribed and given you the thumbs up 👍. Thank you so much xx Mags
Beautiful abstract art work, and I agree with your comments, I always lack self belief but am trying hard to overcome this, thank you for your great video, Eleanor x
Truly breathtaking!!! I love your style. When I grow up, I want to be just like you! LOL Thank you for sharing! I enjoy hearing about how you came about the inspiration.
Just found you on UT and I love your work, love the colours, textures etc, but love your inspiration at the end. Made me quite emotional, so guess I need to believe more ! Can't wait to see more of your work 😊
I love all the texture on this piece. It really is beautiful. I look forward every week to seeing your videos. They are always full of inspiration and wisdom. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your inspiration & your talent in your piece. What you created is beautiful. Trying my hand with mixed media. Learning from you is amazing.
I’m inhaling your wonderful tutorials thank you for posting them. I’ve been going nuts trying to find the blue cloths you use to wipe your works with. Where can they be purchased?
Jennifer so glad your enjoying my videos. Thanks so much for watching! this is the link to the Scot shop towels that I use hope it helps : amzn.to/3ijPqUz
Believe! My word of the year ❤️ this piece is gorgeous! I know I will be creating it very soon. I always love your message at the end. So many words resonate with me. Not only do you inspire me creatively on a daily basis, but through my life as well. My company is located in Cleveland, next time I go there I hope we can connect! Have a beautiful day ❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous! I look forward to my sundays with you. This was very inspiring for sure. I have lots of things I want to accomplish this year and I must believe that I can do the things I've mapped out. And you Shawn good luck to you and your new beginnings! I can't wait to see you in wanderlust as well!
I just found this while I was searching through RUclips and think it is absolutely awesome. I have a question that I’ve wondered about for a long time about many of the art works I’ve seen done and maybe you can answer it. So much of the background gets lost in the process and I wonder why that is. For example, you were so excited about the numbers showing through and yet I don’t think any of them show in the final piece. Is there a reason that so much of it gets covered up? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. I also loved your message at the end.
So glad you found me! Some bits and pieces show up and i call it the magic because it adds depth. The other part of this is that every layer leads to the final piece. Sometimes its what sparks the next steps. I always say you have to be willing to let go of the background to bring the piece together and sometimes the plan we make as we create ...paves the way for new inspiration. Not sure if this helps. Thanks for watching!
This is soooo lovely, thank for for sharing. I have a polite question. I didn't think pan pastels were permanent and wondered if you used a fixative on your finished creations? If so, which one do you recommend?
I use regular acrylic paint. A touch of water dependi g on the thickness of your paint. And the equal parts air brush medium. Its a bit of an experiment so add a liutle paint and a little medium at first. To check the consistancy. Hope this helps!
I just finished your course "just Begin " and finished my practice piece. I would love to get your thoughts on how to make better the next try.. I think it may be a bit busy.how can I send you a picture ?
I love this piece....it’s just stunning. I do have a question...when I’m using the alphabet stencil I have trouble keeping the words in a straight line...I noticed you never have trouble with that..is there a trick? Or is it just practice?? Thanks for your help..you are loved♥️
Beliefs seem to be the indelible mark of life experiences. As a psychology researcher, I study beliefs that people hold and they run the range from reasonable to totally out there. We rarely share all our beliefs, and when we actually hear what people believe it’s beyond comprehension.
I love the dance back and forth that you do with the glazing. I'm wondering if you do not have the drywall tape, could you use cheesecloth in exchange for that? This is really wonderful. TFS.
I wanted to hear you I lost my sweet husband after 40years of a magical marriage All alone is dangerous for sure in my widows group we are in a book By John ortberg “If you want to WALK ON WATER you’ve got to get out of the BOAT “. God bless you sweetie God Bless I make angels to give my first responders threw the death of my love. . You have encouraged me so how do I get you your gift 🤷♂️I’ll be 72 in May and am very much deprived in the technology department.
The words "believe" don''t blend. When you plan to add type/typgography/words, work them into the design from the start. The words/letters needed to be grunged up to blend in. They are too crisp.
Another amazing abstract mixed media.
Superbe réalisation jusqu'au final avec ces touches de blanc qui illuminent votre sublime vision!!!
Je CROIS en vous et en votre ART qui me fait voyager loin à chaque fois!
Merci pour cela!
Beautiful!!
God Bless you Shawn

Very nice piece, Shawn! Love it!
Sin palabras, maravilloso

Beautiful! Are these varnished or waxed in any way?

Fab video! What glazing med do you like to use?
I use decoart americana glazing medium. I also use liquitex glazing medium. Thanks for watching!
I loved your video, your art and your style. Thank you for your message, too. I was wondering how you treat the edges of the MDF or is it MFD board.
I paint all sides and back with black paint. And yes its mdf board. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful art! Beautiful you! Thank you.

This is soooo lovely, thank for for sharing. I have a polite question. I didn't think pan pastels were permanent and wondered if you used a fixative on your finished creations? If so, which one do you recommend?
I always spray a fixative. I use spectra fix. Non toxic no order. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful, but what are you using ? Is it a board?
mdf board i letyou know that at the very beginning of the video. thanks for being here!
Can you tell me which paint you use to put in your fineliner applicator with airbrush medium? Do you mix equal parts of each?
I use regular acrylic paint. A touch of water dependi g on the thickness of your paint. And the equal parts air brush medium. Its a bit of an experiment so add a liutle paint and a little medium at first. To check the consistancy. Hope this helps!
Do you have a beginners, how to start, this is beautiful..love the colors..👍👍👍👍👍
May I ask why you put the arrows on the MPF board before you start the picture? Love your videos and techniques!🤗🇨🇦
Each piece of wood has a routered key hole on back for hanging. It tells me which way is up. Thanks for watching!
