It indicates when low. When you first get the unit, it says to charge in the sun for a few days before use. We've had this since Oct 2023 and never had the unit show low battery, even when it rains for a week or snowing.

So how exactly does that charge indicator work? Is there any way to tell when full/near full, or does it just say when low?
