- Synopsis: The Wuxia Martial Arts Action Movie "New Dragon Gate Inn 2021" tells that the peerless swordsman master Wolong, tired of gratitude and hatred, established Longmen Town in the depths of the desert, specially accommodating people who want to live in seclusion, making Longmen Town a "paradise" for people who practiced kung fu. Longmen Town stands alone in the desert. No one knows its specific location. There is only one Longmen Town Inn welcoming guests from the outside, which is the only entrance to Longmen Town. Nice story!
The story showcases the outcome when you seek revenge. The main character chose his old friend over his new family, and in the end, he unknowingly killed his father while seeking revenge. A couple of acts of revenge resulted in a sad ending (karma).

First time watching this movie. I was confused with the storyline probably because I'm not familiar with the story. All in all I didn't think it was a bad movie. Kinda wish they provided more of a back story for some of the characters, and slowed the subtitles down just a notch, I had to skip back a couple time to catch what was being said. The fight scenes were ok nothing super amazing, but I was able to watch the whole movie. Thanks for making this available for us to watch.
the transcript option allows you time to read at your own pace it was nice of them to include it for english only speaking

I don't like this at all. What good is it that he's the only one to survive? He got EVERYONE else killed. Even his brothers got killed. How is that a win? He made me so mad. 😡

It is no Dragon Gate Inn.
A big disappointment compared to the prequel .
I did still enjoy the film though.
One further observation,
In this day & age I think SUBTITLES are a relic & films should be dubbed in English,
If they were doing it in the 70’s & 80’s then I think by now it would be cheap & the dubbing quality should be superb, cmon PRODUCERS!
Overall I give it a 6/10
Terrible kung fu choreography. No moves by the women are close to believable.
