Recorded 4/7/2012 Happy Easter! Modes: Alert & attack Siren location: Near Route 20, Springfield Twp by Eastside produce. (Siren location #24 according to the web site.)
Yep that's the one! There's also a 1212 in Fish Lake and a 5T in Laporte in case you didn't know. The rest of their sirens are mainly 2001s, with a few T-128 and a Model 5.
So this one wasn't working for a while? And yes, from passing so many times, I know about the T-128 a few miles east that replaced a XT22 a few months back.
Yeah, I heard about that; ND1003 told me. I don't know whether to call that a good thing or a bad thing. If they put a new FS radio on it, they could do fast wail. What's your opinion?
The 2t22 siren several miles east in Springville was the one that was replaced, due to faulty brushes or something. I liked this one better because it has a faster windup. Even back in the mid-1990s when these sirens were at their original sites (this one by Stone Lake/Craven Pond, and the Springville one by the junkyard on McClung Road), the wind-ups on the sirens were like that - although the McClung Road one was beginning to peter out. I didn't even know it was there until the spring of 1996, so who knows - it might have originally had a fast wind-up like the one here does.

Awesome video! I'm glad this one was fixed and not replaced like the other one. Sounds nice and healthy as well.
I've been informed that an ASC radio was added to this siren in July. The more you know.
Awesome video. IIve been meaning to record this for awhile, but just havn't had the time or resources.

In the thumbnail it looked like it was floating
I hope a t-121 took over or a t-128... Or wait is this siren gone? I hope not
Last time I went past it (April of this year), it was there.
Good I hope it gets it's use out of it
