I’m going to just comment so people realize that the birch you are using is from dead fallen trees. I went out this weekend and found a number of living birch trees stripped of their bark. It was terribly sad. PS. I love your videos! Keep it up!
Yes that is sad to see. Usually if you see one birch tree, there’s probably another near with downed branches, bark fallen off, something! Thanks glad you enjoy them :)
What a gorgeous location! Enjoyed the vid, keep them coming.
Thank you and will do :)
I love when you go to this cabin! I’m on the hunt for a wood stove like the one in there. So beautiful.
Yea that stove is a beast!
My dad called his pot belly stove
It sure is a beast at heating
When I do ramen I scramble the egg and throw it in with the boiling water. Makes a good tasting quick lunch. Keep up the great videos 👍🏼.
I thought about doing that but the noodle packaging showed an over easy egg so I copied it haha. Trying your way next time and thank you 😊
@@AtlasAdventures Mix in a packet of chicken and a packet of soy sauce and you have another tasty kind of meal.
Awesome video man!
Appreciate that Johnny! Thanks
I love the wood stove
Right! It is very old and very cool
Thx u for your videos.
Love your healthy cooking.
How i would love to do this.
But cancer took over my body so i relax watching your videos thx u linda
The UP is special year round!
You’re correct haha but yes, I would like to move there
I’m thinking about doing this stuffs in the future.
Do it! All you need is a phone, a $30 tripod and a $30 external microphone and camping gear 👍
Sorry about the background hiss noise, my microphone (Rode VideoGo Mic) is broke or something and you're hearing the gain trying to pick up sound :( Time for a new/better microphone!
I hear what you mean. It didn’t detract from the video, though. Great upload!
@@JacobBailey-k2k Thats good to hear! Thank you :)
Great video as always! You need to make an outdoor cook book! I swear you eat better camping than I do on a normal day lol
It takes my cabin 2 full days to warm up if I ever let it sit with no heat on (it is also in the UP). I stopped doing that years ago. The thermostat might say 70 inside within a few hours, but the still cold walls and floor draw the heat out of your body, it can feel colder inside than outside for the first few hours.
nice cabin buddy 👍🏻🥃
It’s a relatives but thank you!
Can you provide a link to your sunglasses? Hopefully, they are Rx capable.
amzn.to/4ali7Zh hopefully they work out for you👍
What’s wrong with the fire place?
My dad and I tested the fireplace last summer but couldn’t get the smoke to go up the chimney(even seeing the sky through the chimney) We burn fires in our fireplace at home every day but something wasn’t right so we’ll have to investigate it
Also it’s a friend of the family’s so another reason for not using it
What’s the recipe for the ramen? It looked great!
Really cute cabin! I bet it is even prettier in the summer sitting on your porch. How do you have electricity for your lights?
It’s not mine but thank you. It does have normal power ran to it so that’s why I call it remote and not off grid haha
Nice video. Your videos have some very nice content. I enjoy watching them. You are also probably not very far from me if you are in the UP……
Thank you 😊 central UP near town of Republic
Love the Yoop! What was the closest city?
The town of Republic, then Marquette 45 minute drive northeast. Thanks for watching!
In Europa we use C no one knows F, I watch from Frankfurt am Main Germany
Yeah, seems like most outdoors people on RUclips aren’t from the US and use metric. Thanks for watching from Germany!
Watching your hiking expedition fills me with nostalgia for my recent mountain trek. Your video captures the essence of the great outdoors and the sense of freedom it brings.Liked and subscribed!
That’s awesome! I miss living near mtns ngl… really glad you appreciate the video, thank you :)
Awesome video! What a beautiful location, great job! Winter has been short but you made good use of it. Great night shots too!
A short but sweet winter this year for sure. Thanks 😊
Really enjoying your videos. You're a talented content creator. I hope you are able to keep them coming!
Thanks Scott really appreciate that. I’m not stopping anytime soon!
What a beautiful place to stay and relax. Enjoyed❤
Thanks, I’m glad you did! It’s a special place for sure
Seeing how little snow there is in the UP definitely shows how weird our winter has been in NoMi. What a cozy spot, bet it’s lovely in the summer too. Feels like Spring today! Thanks for great video ❄️👏🏼
It’s perfect in the summer there! Yep, out today walking Atlas in this odd and beautiful weather! Thanks for watching :)
Loved the ice sound on the lake when it was cracking. Great vid!
Thanks Tim! The ice sounds spooked atlas and she kept searching for whatever was making the noise haha
Have you noticed the constant "light wind" noise from your camera?
Sadly yes when I started editing I discovered it and tried to get rid of it best I could. It was the Rode VideoGo Shotgun Microphone and and was never too happy with it, but this video pushed me to get a new, much better 🎤
Absolutely love your cabin!!!! You are truly blessed!
It’s a friend of the family’s cabin but yes, I’m very thankful to they let me appreciate this amazing piece of land:)
great cottage that's what I think off.
Pretty rustic!
SO he has electricity but no running water?
It does but it’s off and drained down in the winter
Very nice video😊
Thank you! Cheers!
It looks like there is electricity, though.
That’s why I call it remote and not off grid haha
What kind of knife is that you were using to cut the butter up with? Looked nice.
Hey Bro, is this your cabin? Or is this cabin for rent? I live in Chicago and need to stay in a place like this. BTW , you make incredible videos.........keep up the good work!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. As many commenters have said, it is a dream location and we all would love to visit there and do what you're doing. So I'm grateful that you took us along by making this video. I would remiss if I didn't mention your excellent shooting skills however. Crisp focus, great exposure, nice shot variety, and bless you for using a tripod. I'm so sick of amateur videos shot on cell phones-all hand held shaky cam footage. Your B roll cutaways and drone footage really put your video efforts far above the rest. A pleasure to watch. All that remains now is to find out where this cabin is so I can visit it too. Thanks so much.
Awsome trip man loved your videos. Great photography man. As always food looks great. Only one question and you made mention of it lol was that truely camping lol. But it is a beautiful place. As always safe travels man
Lovvveee your content man! wish it was possible to get more videos but i just know its hard to do! so props to you!
Didn't you stay here in a previous video? I couldn't find it, but the cabin looked familiar. Very cozy.
I found it at 1 year ago in his history.
Thanks Tim. I found it too.@@timvictor5988
👍 thinking about making a summer video here 🤔
If you like the UP, you need to make it up north of Sault Ste Marie. It's like the UP on steroids as far as topography, wilderness and remoteness goes.
I definitely want to make it up there soon! I know its rockier and more remote
I know you did not leave in the comments where you were in the UP but it’s all amazing. Another great video. Keep it up keep posting love it all. Keep Michigan strong.
You were way up there!!!
Best place to be 🤙
Brett Affleck with my favorite destination! Always a charm, always a good time, always look forward to the man himself. Cheers brother! 🍻
Never disappoints! Best vibes around as far as camping videos go 🤙
One of my favorite as well! I would live here if I could haha thanks Frank! 🍻
@@AtlasAdventures as would many of us. Now anytime I hear you say cheers, I raise a glass 😂
Here's to another killer upload. Knocked out of the park per usual 🍻
@@franktyler8538 I’ll remember that next time a say it haha 👍
@@AtlasAdventures give Atlas a a nice non-alcoholic beverage for us. Can't wait for the next adventure 🍻
@@franktyler8538 will do!
😮Dude love that sweater! with the blues, red, orange 😍 where did you get it!?
Thanks!
No, thank you Laura :) glad you enjoyed it
