They studied lions and followed what they gathered. I respect their work, they never changed anything from the original film, you could at least admire their efforts for every strand of fur and every dirt and leaves are works of their hands.

Amongst the brutal killings done to other lions, there's even cases of betrayal between the brothers. Just about no end to cycle of violence.
