EXCRUCIATE WITH FLAMES
"Cantor always said this would be his "death song." As young metal heads we sometimes talked about which tracks/lyrics would be our "death song" Celebrant chose this one and being that he was cremated in 2011 it most definitely makes for a proper send off! I still have a cassette of Kris and I practicing/learning these riffs back in 96/97 although a couple riffs certainly were born even earlier as far back as '92/93 I am most certainly glad that I was at least able to hold on to a few practice tapes through the decades (while many other O.I gems were lost and never again to be found) because I absolutely treasure it now, without question! It's both comforting and depressing to hear Celebrant's voice on tape. It's haunting actually. The cassettes also possesses finished material that is the very last of what Cantor and I had recorded and archived for those two years, that I have access to anyway. Perhaps a "Demonize the Flesh Part II album?" There is enough material for it! Here is to the remembrance of times good, bad and ugly. Cantor's throne within the band Ossuary Insane shall forever remain unoccupied for the simple fact that he is irreplaceable. One of a kind. A beast that was just too beastly for his own good.
