After a lot of though we continued to come back to having the pullman style dinette as it offered the most storage space together with ample worktop space - the added bonus that it can be converted to a bed if we need it. Hi Lynda, Aww, we will do our very best to acknowledge everybody we can. We have been blown away by how many people have, liked and subscribed to our vlogs and mentioning you and others is our way of thanking you for taking the time to watch and enjoy our journey with us. The board wasn't planned really but it really does help to remind us of things that crop up and keeps us focused. Now we are sharing it with our viewers there is the added pressure of actually making sure we get things on the list ticked off. We thought about putting really easy things up like make coffee, eat cake and watch other vlogs on RUclips , just so we have something to cross off - but somehow we don't think you will all let us get away with that would you?!! I am sure Dylan and Molly would have great fun playing together being the same age, Dylan is on the go all the time and loves nothing better than to meet a friend in the park and run about like the clappers and if there is a a stick to be found then all the better. Hi John, Donnas' father was a painter and decorator and he taught her well, so well in fact the first time Donna saw me painting, she took the brush off me and told me I wasn't allowed to paint again! We ordered the kitchen this week but you can find out about that on tonights episode. We have been sooo lucky to have Dylan, he is the first dog either of us have had and really is a little smasher eh! I have to put up a white board when I cook Christmas dinner all those pots and pans so many ingredients and timings I am ok with one pot like cooking a Chilli con carne lol. Looks like you guys are well organized love the look of your boat now just imagine how good it will be after the alterations. Great vid guys 👍
Hi Martin, Hope you are well, it's great to hear from you again. We do like the look and the feel of the boat as it is, we fell in love with it the moment we stepped onboard and we will be doing our best to keep it looking bright an airy as well as spacious but it's always a bit nerve wracking when making the changes. We are cooking lots of one pot meals as the oven is not the greatest, it's very small but the heat is either on or off, so we are not able to regulate the temperature which can be somewhat frustrating. Mind you we have been far too busy trying to get on with that to do list so cooking fancy meals has been a no no. It's really exciting to finally have a plan together, we are not sure how long it will be before we can make a start as it will depend on how quickly our order will be met. We hope to get out next week to have a look at some kitchens. Yes, the to do list looks a bit scary sometimes and we need to write more things on it like having a beer just so we can show we are able to cross more off!! We hope to get some downtime in next week to take a look around Worcester Cathedral, but this will be weather dependant as it won't be much fun walking around town in the pouring rain. Hi Jake, Thanks for your comments, we are indeed really pleased with the decking, it feels cosy now and having a small area competed has helped us to plan the next steps. We hope you will enjoy watching the progress continue. We don't have any air conditioning on the boat and it has been super hot. We have a dark green roof at the moment which is one of the reasons why we want to paint it cream as it will help reflect the heat in the future. We have made sure Dylan is comfortable by putting a fan down on the floor where he likes to lay and it certainly helped, as has being able to have a swim during his walks. Throughout the day one of us takes him off to a shaded area in the marina to sit for a while so we could get some respite from the heat. Great progress on the boat, decking looks awesome. Do you guys have Air con for the super hot weather?
