My student told me I needed to redo my “dusty” twists for graduation. So… I had to pull an all-nighter and undo, wash, and redo. For some reason I decided to do it as small as you did. BY MYSELF! That was June 16 and I still have them in, redid the perimeter once and will redo the perimeter this weekend. This whole head ain’t coming out until the end of august.
Turned out cute and best of all, you made it look like I might be able to do it on my hair🤐 I'm pretty butter fingered when it comes to these styles but this one looks like all I need is some patience and I might be able to make it through😂 Thanks Luv🥰❤
My high school all classes reunion and back to my retirement school year hairstyle will be from old clip ins in this style. Since I recently stopped using synthetic crochet hair. My go to protective styles are knotless braids and this style on my natural hair. I have some kinky curly clip ins and plan to cut the pre sections of tracks to use to give me hair a tad bit more length. I section my hair into two quarters and one half for my starting braid. Then, when I get ready to start the twits, I combine the smaller pieces instead of splitting my braids. After I get tired of my braids, which often happens after no later than two weeks, I can pull off a better twist out before washing and rebraiding it again. My middle part TWA with an adult barrette on each side, is very pretty with my face! Thanks very much for sharing. Maybe I’ll try the other style on my granddaughter.
I’ve had this style before years ago, and the lady who did them was a cleaning client of my moms. The client would always have this hairstyle and she would go the Africans, but it was costly so she learned to do the style herself… and did them on me…. Took her 3 days too 😂😂😂😂 #iykyk but yes it’s so lightweight and beautiful style ❤ definitely inspired to try this out again
The fact that this took you 3 days definitely discouraged me from doing them myself. It already takes me forever to do my regular hair. I would just give up
Hun, its up to you. I make mine in 4 hours and I make it full. Just pick a day and dedicate it to your hair, prep the day or night before and just do it. You're good
Love the hair…… also the movie is three thousand years of longing 😅. It looked good you were all in it and I noticed idris Elba. I’m about to do the same thing you did 😁
I'm gonna do this to myself and I'm gonna regret every second into the process but I know it's gonna be worth it...if it turns out anything like yours anyway 😊

I feel so crazy because I be getting this done in under an hour 😭 like I remember one time I did them when I had a meeting in 2 hours 🤣 my hair is thick too.
I actually didn’t. I might try that next time bc they got a bit frizzy which looked great and more natural as they aged but I’d like to if that’s controlled by the hot water.
Girl this took too long! I do my real hair which is about that exact length in 3 to 4 hours 😅 the exact same way because I'm half white and my roots unravel because they're too straight to hold a twist. Your hair looks good after all but you should get a quicker method or something. The result isn't worth the time 😢
seems like this took days wasn't quick at all. it also says 2 strand u used 3 to start the plat then went in to 2 strand twist. this title is misleading
You can attach the hair either braiding it first or twisting it first and finish off twisting the rest of the hair ❤ I personally start mines braiding the root so it won’t slip
