- After having been reprimanded by the station master for endangering their passengers when driving at unthinkable speeds, Soldier and Engineer are transferred to a little humble narrow-gauge railway to work on for atonement. But do they feel more at home here than on the mainline? Can they redeem themselves of their past recklessness?

This reminds me alot of the railway series (thomas the tank engine) stories "A close shave" and "old iron", an engine and crew relocated to a new run due to issues and actually enjoy this new life, a runaway engine, crew chase said runaway and hook up by ropes, and stops the engine from an even bigger disaster, and finally due to their bravery they're allowed to resume their prior duties
VERY well done! As someone who used to read/watch these stories religiously, this is a great combination of the railway series and gmod!

I remember learning about the existence of narrow gauge railroads from watching old pre-CGI era Thomas the tank engine VHS tapes when I was *very* little.
It was so nice to see a TF2 video that involves narrow gauge railroads, *you* my friend may have just brought me back a piece of my early childhood, and I can't thank you enough!

I loved both Rampage and this animation! They both gave me the nostalgic vibes I had when watch the eras of Thomas & Friends that I grew up with! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more of Engie’s and Soldier’s railroad adventures!

Awesome and wholesome animation. Was almost expecting one of the boys to pull a “Casey Jones” and sacrifice himself to stop the train, but nobody got hurt (except Demo’s liver) :)
I did actually consider something like that for a time, but I think this was the best way to end itXD
It has everything: A wholesome story, clever and effective mixing of the ai voices and voice lines, sensible merc humor, and of course a happy ending. Well done on this!

I like the Skarloey Music in the background in the beginning, and another thing, this kind of story is fantastic. Also, it’s this kind of animation that I want to do for my RUclips ( and soon, Hopefully, I have SFM, but I don’t know how to use it).

You know. I've had this sort of personal headcanon of mine that sometime after the events of "Wistful Adieu", Soldier and Engineer decide to start working together in the railway as a sort of retirement job.
That just may be the case now ;)
