This reminds me alot of the railway series (thomas the tank engine) stories "A close shave" and "old iron", an engine and crew relocated to a new run due to issues and actually enjoy this new life, a runaway engine, crew chase said runaway and hook up by ropes, and stops the engine from an even bigger disaster, and finally due to their bravery they're allowed to resume their prior duties VERY well done! As someone who used to read/watch these stories religiously, this is a great combination of the railway series and gmod!
It has everything: A wholesome story, clever and effective mixing of the ai voices and voice lines, sensible merc humor, and of course a happy ending. Well done on this!
I loved both Rampage and this animation! They both gave me the nostalgic vibes I had when watch the eras of Thomas & Friends that I grew up with! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more of Engie’s and Soldier’s railroad adventures!
I remember learning about the existence of narrow gauge railroads from watching old pre-CGI era Thomas the tank engine VHS tapes when I was *very* little. It was so nice to see a TF2 video that involves narrow gauge railroads, *you* my friend may have just brought me back a piece of my early childhood, and I can't thank you enough! It's a damn shame I can't subscribe to your channel more than once. 😔

There is such a candid, genuine nature to this video and I love it all more for it. The characterization here is just beautifully well done and the editing as well as the animation kept a smile on my face...

Thank you so much for not shoehorning stupid out-of-place characters I despise, like Sans, the Amogans, those screaming robot furries, anyone from Fortnite and FNF, etc. Just pure Valve goodness, barring the subtle Krystal cameo, which is perfectly fine by me since she's cool. A mere cameo from any of those aforementioned characters just ruins the experience for me. I know that sounds *OUTRAGEOUSLY* petty, but we all have own petty reasons for disliking certain things.

But if u really wanna know why Krystal, I’m not sure if you’re aware or not, but there’s a Half-Life 2 mod that replaces Alyx with Krystal, and her original voice actress actually redubs all of Alyx’s lines. An assortment of 2ft rolling stock models and dupes people have made that I’ve listed in the description. The guy who made the climax locomotive took it off the workshop for whatever reason, so I’m contemplating putting on the workshop again and linking it here.
