- The 7th edition of The World Electronic Music Awards will take place in Las Vegas (Dates will be announced Shortly). A two-hour primetime TV show will be broadcast in 120 territories worldwide. The key award categories are Artist of The Year in Europe, Asia, North America, and World Artist of The Year. The live show will feature international superstars from cinema, TV, and social media, with the world’s biggest DJs and Artists collaborating and showcasing the best tracks of the year during the two-hour live show. The worldwide livestream will feature behind the scenes, red carpet, interviews, and post show reviews.
The first World Electronic Music Awards, then known as The Dancestar Awards were launched on a grand scale in the year 2000 at Alexander Palace, London with over 5,000 industry attendees and 21 TV Cameras capturing every angle. Certainly, nothing like it had been done before in the Electronic Music space.
The show continued to expand annually and in 2002, Dancestar was also launched in Miami during The Winter Music Conference, taking over six blocks of sand on Miami Beach. In all, six Dancestar shows were staged between 2000 and 2004 on both sides of the Atlantic with Dancestar USA 2004 credited as the most widely televised Electronic Music event in history, broadcast in over 50 countries to an estimated 600 million households.
The TV shows were hosted by superstar DJs and Hollywood Stars; Boy George, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Juliette Lewis, Tess Daly, Rosalyn Sanchez, and Carmen Electra.
Dancestar featured Live Performances from; ATB, Fragma Ft. Coco, Chicane Ft. Bryan Adams, P. Diddy Ft. Kelis, IIO, Telepopmusik, MOBY, Oakenfold, Alice DJ, Artful Dodger, Funkstar Deluxe, Luck & Neat, Architects, Faithless, Girl Next Door, Jakarta, Pied Piper, Public Domain, Safri Duo, Sonique, Ian van Dahl, Kosheen, Lasgo, Orbital, Shy FX, Tim Deluxe, Funky Green Dogs, Grandmaster Flash, Green Velvet, Kelis, Masters At Work, Dark Beat, Audio Bullys, JC Chasez, Dirty Vegas Ft. Oh thats such a tragedy her voice can manage without the lip sync..people are tired of perfection in a voice..if the voice is exercised n found authentic within ones self nothing more is needed..Nadia has that.
But this is Electronic Music & we have the capability to perfect/enhance voices electronically. Authenticity is sometimes overrated 😉. Lip Sync = Optimized Audio, right?
I just pretend the enhanced voice is Nadia’s natural voice & roll with it 🎉
to be fair, in the video I noticed she's not wearing an earpiece which means she is not hearing her voice as she sings on stage, which means she's either not singing live or, the video has had its sound edited so we are hearing the recording while watching a live shot video.
This video has been changed to include a different track to the song all together. This isn’t the original video, it’s been heavily edited.
