if time could be turned/manipulated, i wish oliver heldens was on the southern ontario (canada) club scene starting in...1993 and continuing. because he would have taken the golden era to another level. 20+ years after the the fact, oliver def has a 90's flavor of sorts in his music. oliver, your music is def appreciated here, looking 4ward to hearing more tracks as they become live.

Can I ask an honest question? I appreciate it as music and sure the guy is talented. It's not easy to make anything this complex even it is just on a computer. The thing is this is why would you go to a show of his or any other big EDM DJ? Don't they just press "play" and hype up the crowd? Isn't it the same as going to any club and listening to the exact same song? The best analogy for me its like going to watch Matt Stone and Trey Parker play a South Park "show" its already all animated there is no way to change it. Don't take this as any kind of put down of electronic music. I'm just genuinely curious
Concerts have a very different vibe from clubs. The DJs at concerts are better (or you'll enjoy them more if you choose to go to their concert at the very least). They'll usually change up the songs a bit so they flow into each other and keep the crowd pumped, and it's just cool seeing them live in a crowd of people who came for the same thing. I mean, it's like going to a sporting event when you can see the same thing on tv or online..you live it more when you're there.
I agree with GodsofThunder. I hate to say this but... if you go see a concert of Skrillex's he is always mashing stuff up and mixing things that are completely unheard. And sure a lot of EDM artists do just press play. But when the music is that loud and you are rolling...eh you don't really care
It isn't about the artist, it's about the experience and listening to the music on a way other than a phone a car or computer. I go to festivals around the world and I've meet the best people, and made the best memories. I hope your question is answered:)
