Aww yay! 80's is always right up my street! I wasn't expecting to hear my name so that was a lovely surprise! haha The Profroster is a game changer - I have two!
Now thats my era!! all those colours and the many mix tapes (which are still played today lol). Great explanations you give makes it easy to follow when we try and recreate your amazing cakes. So a very big THANK YOU to you for showing us how to manage all things cakey xx
When you need to cut out small lettering you should stick your fondant onto a board with a very light smear of white shortening and then it won't move around when you're cutting around the letters. Leave it to dry for just a few minutes then remove the cut out from the board. (Very old old trick)
Wow! That is an amazing cake! It must of took you ages! You made it perfectly. You must have so much patience, you have so much talent, THANKYOU so much for sharing your tutorial. Xx
I really loved watching your tutorial! I have to make an 80s cake that will feed up to 70 people so I was looking for ideas. A question, I was going to use fondant to make the i love 80s sign. Is it best to use modelling clay? if so, do you buy yours or make it? Also, is it possible to make the mixed tape etc up to 2 weeks before ?
