The value of bringing in Brady for one year would be phenomenal. Sam and rookie TBD could learn from the best to ever do it. He would make the entire team better and would bring a Championship aura to the Vikings. And signing him before the draft would give Kwesi more leverage. Although his pass blocking is in the high 70s (PFF), which is great, he has been consistently in the lowerb 1/3 of NFL guards in Run Blocking. The Vikings are looking to grab a guard in free agency AFTER The Draft, when that addition won't make them lose one of their 2 compensatory 3rd Round draft choices (the second of which will only come IF Risner is signed by another NFL team BEFORE The Draft. The Vikings will get a middling FA guard, who probably will be in the average range at run blocking, as well as a later mid-round draftee or undrafted free agent , with both players to compete with Blake Brandel for their Left Guard position, with the losers as back-up depth.
Best get Jefferson signed and use the the first draft pick to get a qb if there, otherwise, a defensive lineman or an offensive lineman. Don't give up both 1st round picks and next years 1st.

JJ has given his friend JD tons of insight into the Vikes - probably deeper than what JD has on the Raiders, does JD have a close friend on the Raiders?
