    I love this video! Every time I think of something to try or have a question, it gets addressed in 30 seconds or less. Very informative, entertaining, and well made.

    I wish we had been taught things like this at school. I enjoy watching these kinds of videos but it pains me how little of practical use I learned in school

      this is because school is less about teaching you about actual useful things, and more about teaching critical thinking skills.

    I thought that rare-earth metals are not rare just "rare" in the sense that it is rare for the people of the country to tolerate rare-earth mining. They can get away with it in countries where the central government has greater control of the people in the area or where there is little control at all by anyone. The USA has "rare-earths" just that people don't want mines in their area or in areas where the results would affect the people that have a say in how the area is used.
