Dahshour Lake

In Giza, there is a place which was chosen by UNESCO in 1979 as one of the most important global environmental heritage sites remaining from the ancient Egyptian civilization along the Nile River. Also, King Farouk set up his resting there to hunt migratory birds. This historical site is called” Dahshour Lake”.
اختارتها منظمة اليونسكو عام 1979 كواحدة من أهم مواقع التراث البيئى العالمى المتبقية من الحضارة المصرية القديمة على امتداد نهر النيل، وأيضا أقام بها الملك فاروق استراحته الخاصة حيث اعتاد صيد الطيور المهاجرة. يعرف هذا المكان التاريخي باسم" بركة دهشور".
