- Tuesday September 11 2012. Stan Walker: Winner of 2009 Australian Idol sings to the Polynesian Cultural Center night production cast members and in turn the cast members do a Haka in appreciation of his talent and visit to the PCC. This is his version of He Kakano Ahau.
I love it because this is probably his voice on a bad day and it still sounds beautiful, graceful

They are a mix of Samoans, Tongans, Tahitians, Hawaiians, Maoris, Fijians from all over the world. Students actually that attend uni In Hawaii and work at this Center to help pay their tuition. They perform this every night to tourists ... This Haka was made specifically for this 1 1/2 hr award winning production.

Ummm hallo Stan walker is a maori.. Learn the song evry1...HE KAKANO AHOU... It tells a story of being proud to be Maori and of ow beliefs and language.. There are alot of Maori/specific islanders that can sing but just shy bout ow selfs.. The haka in the end was awsum I cud feel the ihi te wairua i puta mai roto tenaka haka... Ka mau te wihi..
