I love the remake's timing. You can realise it's there in time. You can run. But no matter what you do, unless you're prepared for it to be there and in a very specific circumstance, you can not and will not escape the wrath of Subspace Tripmine.
Imagine if even in that very certain circumstance the tripmine grows pink glowing claws and grabs you. Y. ou slowly turn pink as you struggle to escape the grasp of Subspace tripmine. Pink starts dripping from you as you lose control over your body, only being able to watch as the Pink climbs up your neck. You cannot escape Subspace Tripmine. You cannot escape subspace tripmine.
@@sandeepgill9975 I'd imagine a much better way to do this without making the Subspace Tripmine seem like a sentient, eldritch monster (it feels more like a powerful, mysterious and inscrutable weapon with ties to an alternate "subspace" dimension in my opinion) would be to make the Subspace Tripmine float upwards and then towards you really quickly, starting off somewhat slow but increasing in speed almost exponentially over time to make it feel like it's being gravitationally pulled towards you. Though this makes it feel more like a masterfully-crafted weapon than a brutal explosive trap made to annihilate anyone or anything unfortunate enough to trip on it.

Probably because of how dangerous it would be to soldiers as well as how expensive it would be to produce so many of them. Plus, it's easy to disarm them anyway if you know what you're doing. Shoot a projectile or even throw a stone from a safe distance and that Subspace Tripmine will explode and be wasted.

@@Nothir478Yeah, most games have just about nothing that can be destroyed. I didn't even know that the original tripmine destroyed anything, I thought it just painted it pink, because I had never seen it in a game with things that were destroyable
Like a rocket launcher with a better looking brick missile, and with a reload animation and that has a functional scope just like the classic rocket launcher did
its really silly and well made but i do have to say it is missing out on the main point of the tripmine a bit, as the whole thing is that the item quietly vanishes into the subspace where it cannot be seen, and i gotta say this thing does not hide itself very much... tho effects and sound are really good so noice!

why the heck does the remake just not work like the original? Thr effects are cool and all, but placing one of these will just make someone run away from the spot, the original was just the noise and it becoming invisible, after that if someone didnt hear the beeping, or for some reason was deaf (in both cases, not seeing the almost invisible subspace tripmine) they could easily die, but in the remake its just very visible with the cool effects and stuff. Dangerous, but almost impossible to kill someone that didnt know there was a tripmine there. (Unless they were blind but why play roblox blind lol) Also on some games with subspace tripmines, you can go faster than the 16 walkspeed, and since this remake doesnt explode practically instantly on those games it wouldnt work really well. And since this one is more of a bigger explosion, it would be very improbable that you kill more than 2 people in open spaces, as its more likely that a single person dies (alone) rather than a single person dying in a team of people, as it would be a high chance of someone seeing the tripmine, warning everyone else about it practically making it impossible for anyone to step into it activating it accidentally, on purpose yeah you just walk but you would need to be in A) Cramped spaces with people close to you B) Make sure they cant escape using more walkspeed, teleports etc. There can be more circumstances needing to be present depending on the game, but this one isnt really as effective at killing like the original, atleast from my viewpoints. The visuals are very cool, but they give away the tripmine to people close to the tripmine death area but far away enough so that they could escape If someone replies to me "🤓" just because im saying my opinion and viewpoint on the subject, screw you.

It uses Roblox's basic explosion, so the anchored structure or anchored part is not destroyed
And even if you bring it to another game and use it, it doesn't explode because you need external script help
I believe depending on the blast pressure, it terrain is also destoryed
