Fun games! It's definitely way faster of a format. It requires building for and against T1-T2 wins. Free interaction is crucial. While that seems bad, faster games can sometimes be fun! I wouldn't replace cEDH with it, but it's a cool supplement. The biggest problem is turn order becomes extremely important.
Kinnan doubles dihadas Treasures, same as Aminatou. You usually dont wait for a second activation. So why bother with more mana if you already have enough and can add card advantage. Being it pure CA over Aminatou or more cards milled. Green doesnt give the strategy much
Aminatou is better for first turn and for sustained play. Casting Dihada first and using treasures to cast the other commander, with Kinnan you end with 2 treasures that tap for 2 of any 1 color, but with Aminatou you get 5 treasures tapping for anything: more mana and more color options. On subsequent turns you get 8 mana either way from planeswalker activations, but with Aminatou you can mill more cards and have a higher chance of getting a good legendary and again your treasures tap for any mana you want instead of 2 of the same. Also they enable the cloudstone curio one-card combo, and as shown in game two since they share a color you can use jewled lotus to cast part of both, saving you another mana and gaining another treasure on first turn.
@@chris-m1g5r dihada gives you red and black for tutors and white... you got all colors... aminatou doesn't... that's enough to win my argument.... kinnan + dockside equals win... everytime (comming from a kinnan pilot)
@@rafaelfonseca6425 Dihada.......still gives you red, black, and white no matter who you play as the partner? The only extra color Kinnan gives you is green, not very impactful, and having totally different colors from Dihada is a downside as I pointed out before because of jewled lotus. Not to mention: Aminatou generates just as much mana as Kinnan does off of dockside because she can flicker it, except that again, she is more flexible with which color of mana and how much you get, and she can flicker it on following turns for even more treasures. Kinnan's only advantage is being a mana outlet, but building around his ability is antithetical to building around Dihada. And again, one card sets up a for-sure win, no luck of flipping off the top. That's enough to win any argument about the better partner.
@@cedhtvgameplay3974 This sounds right but both are triggers on the cast of flusterstorm and the active player's goes on first. Why doesn't the flusterstorm triggered ability go on after the Mystic Remora, therefore resolving first and copying on top?
So what till happen is that rhetoric cast flusterstorm, causing his own flusterstorms storm to trigger and Dihada players fish to trigger. Because Dihada player is active player his trigger will be put on the stack first and flusterstorms stormtrigger on top of it. So it should be true that fish draw would resolve after storm trigger resolved
@@cedhtvgameplay3974 @PipebombMTG is correct. Both storm and Remora are triggers on cast. APNAP is the order for stacking triggers, so Rhetoric's storm copies are on top of the Remora trigger. If it was Rhetoric's turn instead, Remora would be on top and resolve first.
Pontus can't exile Dargo to cast the Neoform with Escape from Breach. Costs are all paid at the same time, so Dargo can't be sacrificed as the creature to Neoform and be exiled for the escape cost. He had the win anyway so it doesn't matter, but don't want people thinking that's how Breach works.
straight from underworld breach rulings: If a spell you're casting with escape has an additional cost of discarding cards or sacrificing permanents, you may exile cards discarded or sacrificed this way to pay that part of its escape cost. also 601.2h The player pays the total cost. First, they pay all costs that don’t involve random elements or moving objects from the library to a public zone, in any order. Then they pay all remaining costs in any order. Partial payments are not allowed. Unpayable costs can’t be paid. good try though
@@sPontus huh, guess I was wrong. Didn't know Breach allowed that. I figured all costs would have to be paid at the same time. Not sure why you said "good try though". It's a bit passive aggressive and I mean no ill intent. I'm just trying to clarify game mechanics and I was wrong this time.

Always a good idea.

Why on earth would you not exile Pontu's dockside before the silence recolves.
yeah or just REB the neoform
Good stuff
That was awesome
Magda plus urza might be really good! Also brallin shabraz or just brallen with green blue might be better!
I'd think Magda with Black for the best tutors would be tough to pass up.
I SO wanted to see Kinnan and Kaalia pop off. Please play this again!
It felt like if I would just have a turn 2 second game I would have maybe gotten that. Maybe next time.
People swear up and down pride is broken or a waste of time but it’s just regular cedh lol.
No rollick on dockside?

But why?????
The naus shouldn't have resolved, storm trigger happens on top of fish trigger, the naus would have been countered before he drew for fish
