totally agree with you. In 1954 it was focussed on the younger public and this 2024 cover is doing just the same. The "message" (lyrics) still matches what youngsters wanna do when "getting out" on the WE.
Everyone did good in this video. And the Guitar players are EXCELLENT. Sofy was Good on the sax also.

Fortunately 🙂, Maria has opted for a more moderate version of clothing. 🙂 If not, it would have been impossible for me to focus on listening to the music 🙂, as my eyes would saturate my mind, leaving no room for any other sensory channels. 🙂 For the rest, and as far as I have been able to hear 🙂, simply incredible, as is usually the case with you. ➡ 🎩OFF!
I like the addition of Sofy’s sax into the mix. And I really liked her vocals on this one. Giulia was (yawn) great as usual. I think the gentlemen enjoy the break from their electrics (I like them better without power). And Maria seemed to have more work to do in this one. And longer time on camera! Still waiting for her bass solo!

What I appreciate also is the fact that you're NOT wearing the more "traditional" clothes of the 50ies. (A-style dress plus petticoats). As this song is quite "timeless", your outfit is well chosen imho.

well, that was mighty enjoyable. but too short. someone needs to come up with an extended version of this song. the sax solo was an excellent touch. i used to play the sax, got ptetty good. but not that good. wish i would've stuck with it. maybe i could've "saxed" all my blues away! thanks for the music video.
few people know this but when this song was first released by bill haley and his comets in 1954 the song was hardly noticed. only when it was included in the opening credit sequence of the film "blackboatd jungle" (1955 ) did the song really rake off and become the beloved standard that it is today.
