Here's a tip that might help with controls. I noticed when you turned the dial by one notch, it was already fast enough to look like the real ride, but because it changes so quickly, it might not look very realistic when it starts. A good idea would be to use a Gear Ratio. If you don't know what this is, its basically when you use gears to slow or speed things up. If you put a small gear on the motor you are using, and then a large gear on the ride connecting to the motor, then the ride should begin slower, making it look more realistic. And you can gradually speed it up if you would like to
It’s already ratio’d for the power. The boom and gondolas weigh over a pound and it’s at a 30-45° angle so it’s got a lot of stress on it. And with space constraints, I could only do a 1:3 ratio anyway but it works perfectly. As for the “jerking” motion of changing the speed steps, there is no gear ratio that would fix that. The power function motor has 8 speed steps. There is no gradual change between each step unfortunately but it’s fine. -JG
Can u make the majestic musik express ride in Lego form because I have been waiting for some one to make it out of legos and there is no body has done one yet I mean I would love to build one but I don’t have the right Lego pieces and I don’t have any Lego motors and don’t have enough money to get the parts and the motors so I hope u can build the majestic muisk express ride out of legos
Do you tear down all of your rides after making a video about it or do you keep them? If so maybe you could maybe do a full setup of all your rides! Would be really cool!
Nope they stay assembled! The only ride that doesn’t still exist is the Gravitron because I’m planning on redoing that ride to make it look more realistic. As for a full setup, I don’t have enough room but that’s something I’ve always wanted to do! -JG
It’s 2 motors. The main boom of the ride sits on a technic turntable. One motor turns the whole boom while the other motor travels inside of the boom with two 90 degree turns. Very simple but effective. -JG

Hey, I know I'm a bit late but what 2 motors did you use to build this? I'm building one of my own and I want to know
The older version of the M motor. Used 2 of them. One for the gondola and one for the boom.

Make all the rides together and make a little fair video it’s a cool thing I would do. If I had the time, money, and pieces to build these rides.
I don’t have enough room at the moment to set them all up at once but that’s something I’d love to do at some point!

Great job anyways. Reverse is worse as it goes faster
