  • Join Hendrik in the OT video studio as he explores the best of the brand new update to Benjamin Wallfisch Strings.
    We’ve added over 300 GB of samples, adding all the short articulations from the tutti sections into both A and B divisi sections for all instruments.
    So now Violins 1, Violins 2, Violas, Celli, and basses come complete with Marcato, Staccato, Spiccato, Pizzicato, Tremolo, Trills HT/WT as well as the up and down bow sustains. These updates are the result of weeks of return recording sessions in Teldex Studios, and countless additional hours of sample editing and mapping.
    If you already own Benjamin Wallfisch Strings, then this update is completely free for you to download. Just head over to ‘My Licenses’ in SINE and hit update.
    And if you don’t own Benjamin Wallfisch Strings, there’s never been a better time to upgrade your string template. We’re offering the collection at a special price of €599 +VAT, but only until October 10.

    Thank you for this update, and for the Berlin strings legato update earlier this year. These two libraries are now my main go-to libraries for strings, even owning everything else on the market.

    I wish strezov did this with afflatus 1 strings and spitfire did this with hans zimmer strings. Yes those are older and afflatus 2 is great, but they never fixed afflatus 1 or zimmer strings.
    Amazing how much stuff you added as an UPDATE and FIXED it, just to make it a truly special library. I will purchase it the second it goes on sale probably during December.
    Next update OR addon, id like to see Whisper sustains, Sordino, or some of those super unique hans zimmer articulations found in the spitfire library, or articulations found in your "special bows".

    I had to come on and say THANK YOU!! I purchased this library earlier this year. I absolutely love the incredibly beautiful sound of these strings. While I knew about the library's limitations from reviewers prior to purchasing, I didn't imagine how often I'd actually reach for a sound I wanted only to find that wasn't there. I confess I was disappointed somewhat in the purchase, until now. This was excellent customer service to fill these gaps, keep the update free and the library the same price! No more hesitation to recommend this library to others now. Thank you OT!!

    Sul Tasto and or flutando would take this already dominating product to another level, it’s already OP but please consider this

      The lowest 2 dynamics were played Sul Tasto/ Flautando in the recordings :)

    Very nice! But could you please provide a "tightness" control for the note attacks? You can hear it in 5:18 but that's cutting into the samples too much, makes the strings sound very synthy, I get that it can be useful sometimes but there should really be an extra setting for it in 2024 please🙏

      We do have an ADSR built into SINE which might help shape the sound to your taste, but we take your point about a building a specific feature too, thank you very much!

    We would like to have divisi for Berlin Strings. I was thinking of a faster articulation than spiccato, like the 'volante' articulation found in 8Dio's Deep Solo Strings libraries, or simply 'spiccatissimo.' This would be a significant update-perhaps even bigger than this one.

    I counted 18 mic positions.This is pure dolby atmos.Wonder how my pc can handle these mic positions all together?

    • @SimoneCampete
      @SimoneCampete Месяц назад +2

      You can create a merged mic positions, so you can have many mic positions in one new channel mic, and you can choose the name.

    • @Physicks499
      @Physicks499 Месяц назад +1

      @@SimoneCampeteyes you can merge but for atmos it needs separate channels routed in your daw to pre panned atmos speaker configurations

    • @SimoneCampete
      @SimoneCampete Месяц назад

      @@Physicks499 yeah, you have right. I never tried but I think It needs many and many ram. With all the instruments and just one mic, I'm near 12 GB and I have 64.

    • @philippvonhoren
      @philippvonhoren Месяц назад +1

      It is probably not realistic to play the library with all the mics open. But when you are ready composing you can route the separate mics to their outputs and then mix with audio in Full Atmos. Also it is "only" 9 mic positions, as there are processed and unprocessed ones available :)
