@@dietgilroy Yeah, the sample got dmca'ed, Spyder said he was gonna try and see what he can do but he hasnt said anything since. Not his fault though obviously lolz

tbh tho the mod does allow more songs to be added, so you could add ridge racer songs in the game too
ngl I didnt know this mod already had mp3 support
Also i hope races are longer in the final game cuz a lot of the songs I have are 3mins+ , and races in-game are ~2mins at most

it works fine, playing my songs and then base songs but then it sometimes freezes my game
Wow, this mod works just fine!
but songs from the base game seemed like they don't appear anymore. The mod just keeps my added songs on loop later on each race. Hope they'll make added songs on shuffle w/ original songs in the next update.
what I think is happening is that the modded songs are prioritized first in the playlist, then once you reach the end you start seeing the ingame one again
@@Lvneth I think it's different for everyone at this point. Mine plays the ones I put, plus originals, and sometimes it plays more originals
@@FreddyFen more originals is actually an in-game bug with or without the mod lol

Do you think A Corvette C5 would make it into the game? I know it's not a japanese car, but some the Porsche isn't either and I mean a full black or full white C5 just looks crazy
likely not, at least 10 chassis planned on release, some probably would just copy what's in the prologue now:
- S13 Chassis - 180sx/probably S13 (as seen in old vids)
- Mark II JZX100 (beta content now)
- Porsche 911 964/Turbo (beta)
- S15 Silvia (Beta)
- R34 Skyline (Beta)
- R32 Skyline (was in some old demo builds, likely would make it into the full game)
- Chaser JZX100 (also in old videos)
- Supra (also seen in some vids, but idk)
- F40 (also old vids)
- Mark II JZX90 (was in old vid (?))
- NSX NA2 (JEM currently working on it, as seen on patreon)
- FC RX-7 (also some models on patreon)
- AE86 (was also on patreon, i believe)
- E36 BMW (dunno about this, but in some game files there's menitons of "E36", even engine sounds)
take this with the grain of salt as it is only my speculation, and what i've seen so far. a lot of things could change till the release. plus, nobody canceled the updates and patches after release. let's just give jem some time to release all the things he planned for us. maybe some day we would see american cars in the game. only time will show.

how many songs this supports?
Should be able to support a couple hundred, just give the game a few minutes to convert them to .ogg (it does that in the background and stores it in ur .cache folder), so wait in the games main menu for 5 minutes or so. also disk space will fill up greatly if you do load up a lot of songs
