- Ninjago’s timeline is messed up. And with that also comes the question of how old our favorite characters are. In this video, the second of two parts, I’m estimating the ages of the important Ninjago characters.

Interesting video Daily. If elemental masters age differently that would explain the whole Ray and Maya situation, it looks like they only aged 10 years in 40 years, but they also looked the same as in the war about 30 years after it ended, same with Krux (during the Kai and Nya as kids flashback), which means everything is messed up. Unless that wasn't 30 years after the war, and Kai and Nya are like 30 years old because they're also slowly aging elemental masters. I'll just stop, I'm only looking for explanations to things that the creators probably haven't thought about. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

Yh well if they only aged in 10 years in 40 years of course they’re still gonna look the same before 40 years has passed. Krux looked like he had aged too, and the only reason present Krux was in the flashback was because they have only ever seen that version of Krux and Krux began to age quicker immediately after the war

When Garmadon resurrected the Grundle in season 1 or 2, the ninja used an aging tea to stop the Grundle as it's extinct present day in Ninjago, and also to get the ninja back to the correct age, as they were turned into children by Garmadon's mega weapon. So basically, lloyd also got Mistake's agind tea and therefore got to the same age as the ninja and Harumi.

Ever realized how Maya actually looks a little younger in the present day than she did during the serpentine war due to the wrinkles in her face which seem to be gone in preset day.

One key thing to note is that Yang has to be old enough to have lived alongside the FSM, which is at minimum a few hundred years. This is based off of what we know of Wu and Garmadon's aging, and the timeline with Aspheera and the Serpentine War.
Yang needs to be alive concurrently with the FSM so that the FSM can know about Airjitzu and use it as a clue for finding his grave.
Angrybirdstar the FSM is only a few hundred years? He didn’t start living when Ninjago was made. He lived in the First Realm for years until he made Ninjago.

Yang doesn’t necessarily need to face been here around almost the exact same amount of time as the FSM. Yang could’ve created Airjitzu within the last 5 years before the FSM’s death. This could have been 20 years before the FSM passed away. We don’t exactly when he made Airjitzu. Bearing in mind, Yang couldn’t have lived for too long alongside the FSM mainly because of the FSM’s life in the Realm of Oni & Dragon, and the events that unfolded with Ninjago’s creation (The Oni’s followed the FSM and the Overlord discovered Ninjago and battled the FSM for ages) Battle was never finished so the land was split into 2. Civilisation in Ninjago would’ve probably unfolded thousands of years after those events. There isn’t enough info to determine this yet.

I can't remember where, but I've heard that elemental masters age differently from normal people, which would explain both Ray and Maya still looking young in season 7 and why the ninja are still teenagers after at least 6 years. However, Krux looking much older doesn't fit, if that rumor is true.
loomman529 But wasn’t Krux stripped of his powers? Therefore he wouldn’t be an elemental master anymore and would age normally.
Rey and Maya lost their powers when they gave birth to Kai and Nya to pass on the power, which probably means it matter if you were an elemental master when you were born.
Just a theory, though.

Krux stayed in Ninjago, unlike Acronix who travelled through time. Since they lost their elemental powers, it is likely to me that Krux aged maybe faster?
Wait...so if the Realm of Oni and Dragon was the first one to come into existence, doesn't that make the entire Ninjago Multiverse around 5000 years old? Seems too young.

Random NINJAGO theory: Ronin used to be or is a Samurai, think about it Ronin means a Samurai without a master ( I know that because I watched The Wolverine) so that probably means that Ronin either stopped being a Samurai when he lost his master or he still is a Samurai but because he lost his master he no longer has a home hence him doing anything possible for money
I had just remembered, Acronix said Krux was born 3 minutes earlier
And I feel like ray and maya have the similar genetics as wu, they could be biologically 60, but they could also be chronologically 200, which would be like a kid to wu, but they probably age 1/5 the speed of normal genetics. Which maybe explains why kai during the serpentine wars, was still a kid, atleast that’s what I think, basically let me explain, I have a theory that Kai and Nya have similar genetics to their mother and father, they age a 1/5 of their usual age, when Krux didn’t make it through the time portal that wu and garmadon sent the time blades through, krux appeared to be very young, and he is old now, but guess who was right there when krux was in his 20’s? Kai and Nya. Just chilling their while their parents were being threatened, that explains why krux appears much older than ray and Nya, even tho he appeared younger than them in the serpentine wars

I think that Nelson is probably 10-11 he looks younger than 12 years old. And for Acronix, I personally think he's 60 and Krux is 100 (if he's 40 years older) because when they time traveled, they traveled 40 years ago. And for the 1st Spinjitzu Master, I would probably say that he's the oldest because he created Ninjago, but if I understand, he created the whole world but separated the evil land and the good land: Ninjago and so, he would probably have created the other realms; so I'd say that he's probably 6'000 years old. But that's just my opinion. 🤗
I love how clutch powers is in the show. I remember LEGO Clutch powers. They are doing crossovers which is interesting. Also, RIP Kirby Morrow. Brought Joy as to me when I was a young kid watching Ninjago. 10 years on my childhood show. You’ll be missed. 💔

In the clutch powers movie, id say it took place 5 years before season 1 and clutch seems maybe 30-35 so id agree with clutchs age.
I agree with you, thinking all of the ages would have been a pain.
The only fault is that sometimes wrinkles and hair colour dont particularly show age

Lets just say for Lloyd the actor was changed and that’s why when his voice was different they said he was growing up
If Ray and Maya are now currently 60, that would mean that they were in their early 40's when they had Kai and Nya considering that Kai and Nya are now 18 and 16. In my opinion, it would make more sense if Ray and Maya are now in their mid to late 40's.

I feel like yang is over 500 years old, because in season 5 when the woman was talking about sensei yang, and how he existed and was mortal in the edo period, which was around 400 years ago.
2:12 bro it’s not 100 because in the day of the departed ninjago short movie sensei Yang claimed that he has waited 5000 years for turning to a human and he doesn’t want to wait any longer so he tried to make cole the sensei and make Yang human, but his plan backfired and cole returned there for season 7 8 9 10 and 11 were 5 years so my estimated age is 5005 + for yangs age

I'd say Ray and Maya would be about 40 because they have Black hair while Krux has Grey hair and he's (Probably) 60.

That wouldn't make sense considering the first serpentine war happened 40 years ago and they did participate in it. They definitely weren't like,,, 2 years old at the time.

Wait, if the firstborn is the mother of all dragons, is she also the mother of the FSM, he's part dragon afterall. That could also be the reason she trusts Wu (and previously the FSM) so much without the armor, they're related.
Also it has been confirmed that the Ice Emperor ruled for around 60 decades. That would plausibly mean that Zane is around 100 years old and Akita/Kataru would be around 70 chronologically.

40* that’s only because Acronix was trapped in a time loop for 40 years that eventually remerged after 40 years. Krux was shot out of the other end and made it back to present Ninjago

In my opinion i think that aspheerah I think is how you spell it is probably a few more 1,000 more years because of her being probably a little older than wu or Garmadon and her tribe is probably ancestors to the other 5 tribes.

I think that Morro is 50 because he was trained by Wu when it was The serpentine wars. And The Serpentine wars happened 40 years ago so i think that Morro is 50 and he was probably 10 when he started getting trained by Wu..
Kruks is the same age as acronix because when kai and nya were fighting the time twins KRUKS states that he was born 3 MINITES earlier than acronix

I'd say Morro is about 200, seeing as Wu ages slowly. This means it could've been a long time ago when Wu trained Moro

Reasons being:
Wu said he trained his first students while Garmadon was training at Chen's.
Garmadon said he left Chen and soon joined his brother in the Serpentine War. I'd assume "soon" means not long after.
If Morro was training when Garmadon was with Chen, before the Serpentine War, then that means him leaving and him dying happened *during* the war.
Tommy Andreasen said Morro was around 14 when he mortally died, and since the war was around 40 years ago, (around 43-44 years in Crystalized)
Since the end of season 4 (when he escaped) happened some years before season 7 (when he found out the war was 40 years ago), the war could've happened 36-37 years ago.
Meaning Morro was there for 36 1/2 years at average.
Basic math, and you get 50.5.
