Jack you did it again. Sitting here in downtown Seattle after a day's work in this concrete jungle, these videos are so welcome. I poured a glass of wine and sat there w/ you and Ellie, pretending that's my life. Even one night out in nature is enough to recharge our batteries and put things in this CRAZY world into perspective. Thank you, and I hope you checked yourself for those pesky ticks!! You do not want to take them home to Olivia!
Hi..I'm in Seattle too, Alki Peninsula...enjoying Jack and Ellie after a gloomy day with rain sprinkles. Love their little adventures too. Take care !!!
I cannot thank you enough Jack for taking us on your journey and on your different sites that you take us along too. And unable financially to do stuff like this but I tell you watching you, Ellie and Olivia live this life just makes me have a good day with a 12:15 big smile on my face knowing someone out there is living the life that I wish I could and I get to watch. It doesn't get any better than that. God bless your family. ❤️❤️❤️ And when it comes to ticksI absolutely hate them. But I had a friend that used to eat garlic cloves all the time when we were camping he never got a tick on him.
That Mr. Heater Buddy Heater is going to be too much for your cabin. We got one for our camper van and the heat rising from the top was too hot even from several feet away. We’re going to try the Lil Buddy instead.
You should bring a brush or comb for Ellie before you get in cabin to get rid of ticks. Also a lint roller for yourself to run over your clothes before you get in cabin, love watching you all
What a neat little tiny home you can camp in and haul with your ebike. A very relaxing time with you best buddy too. I just lost my loyal, zany, loving Husky to cancer. But, knowing we gave her little over 10 years of endless trips, walks, playtime, treats, and family time comforts me. Always love ❤️ on your pup!
You are exactly correct with that powerful statement. Now that I'm getting up in years I realize the importance of only investing emotionally connected people who can receive & offer such a powerful gift as Loyalty!! Yes it's rare but when I figured out the impact of investing in such a rare and powerful relationship. I wish I had known what I'm saying when I was growing up! Better late than never.
Ellie is so obedient. She understood you when you asked her to not go into the muddy water. She laid down in the long grass. But then.... she had a roll-around in the sand. lol It's so heart warming to see the love between you both. God bless.
Awesome set up man. I live vicariously through these videos. To me, a night in the woods or bush as we call it would be a dream. Unfortunately it's back to the rat race for me in the morning. I hope you checked yourself over for ticks.
I love the smile on Ellie's face as she's livin her best life. You love her and she loves you. So thankful she's healthy and always ready for adventure! My lab mix was always rolling in something smelly at the beach, pure joy❤
I lowered my blood pressure just by watching your video. So cozy and serine......I love Elie by the way 😊 Another great video. Thank you for bringing us!
Cool cabin. You mentioned you werent gonna sleep with heater on and it was heating your roof kinda hot. Ive used Sterno to cook, heat small areas, even to help dry wet clothes. Large cans burn possibly a couple hours, or a little more, maybe, but it reliable, predictable heat. Ive quickly heated tents and shelters when needed fast emergency heat. Some chafing fuels ɓurn hotter than sterno. But in your cabinq, you may find that 1 or 2 candles may heat things up fairly quick, but need to light them sooner to give them time to heat cabin before putting them out to go to bed. Between both of yalls breath and a couple candles, inside might get fairly warm. Happy trail. Will be following you.
I love the cabin set up ! You definitely know your craft. Be careful of those ticks, it hasn’t been cold enough to rid them for the season. Thanks for having us along.
Jack you've done it again! You think of everything from you and ellie wearing safety orange to having your coffee ready to brew.😊 you know I'm in my late 50s and I just want to say Jack you are doing life the right way! The reason I connect with your solo camping is the last immediate family member I had left in my life was my son John, I received a phone call 12/25/20 that my only child was found outside his apartment deceased. I am not mentioning this horrific incident in my life to draw attention I'm merely pointing out the reason why I can relate so much to your solo camping experiences. I scrolled down through your comments and I have to say that the people on here committing are folks who dream or imagine what it's like to be you or what it's going to be like when they have a opportunity to experience what you do on a regular basis. Thank each of you for letting me ramble and if you get a chance how about saying a prayer for me! God knows me and he knows my situation in entirety. Please everyone that has a family and be sure to pray protection over each of them with all your love and kindness. We as people who hears of a story like mine and think yeah this couldn't happen to me!? Well I can tell each of you I never thought I would be typing this out! God bless you and thank you in advance!😊
I am so sorry about your son … I’m saying a prayer for you right now. I really appreciate your kind words and the insight into what you and others love about coming along on these adventures. Thank you so very much 🙏🏽
Heyy Jack and Ellie, nice place to camp, beautiful scenery the changing color of the leaves ,Ellie was sure having fun in the dirt, thanks for sharing stay blessed stay safe
On the heater, take one of those metal mesh paint trays, hook it over the heater handle, then lay it down flat across top of heater. THEN, set a heat activated fan, like for a woodstove, on top of the tray. It will disperse the heat better through the camper and away from the ceiling. It will amaze you, too, at how much heat just the pilot light puts out. There are several videos on RUclips on how to do this. Enjoyed the video!
Love that you are a man of faith. Camping is your happy place. Hope Ellie didnt have ticks stuck on her. Thanks for sharing. Liked your orange jacket too
Hi Jack and Ellie. That little camper would be so cool to stay in in a rain shower. Oh wow i would have had to give Ellie a great look over for the ticks . I hope you vacuum your little camper out to get any ticks that may be left. Its really crazy how ticks are making people allergic to red meat if they get bite by the ticks . The fall colors were really beautiful down by the lake . And Ellie sure was wanting some belly rubs when you where getting ready to leave. Glad yall had a great time. Great video.
Love the coziness of the bike camper. I would put maybe a piece of tin or aluminium sheet on the ceiling for your heater? So glad Ellie 🐕 didn't go in the water or the mud. See you on the next adventure. Hello to Rylie and Olivia 🖐 Happy trails 🤗🏕💕
We thought tick season was over too! We live in northern Michigan and we've found several ticks in the last few weeks. Good thing you found that one on Ellie!
Awesome shelter and I bet listening to the rain hit the roof is very tranquil. Got a little nervous how close she was to the heater after seeing how hot your hand was being the same distance.
The heat mostly goes upward, so directly off the side isn’t quite as hot as that. Either way, we didn’t run it very long this trip due to the lack of heat shield 👍🏽
It's nice that you are enjoying yourself, but I really only care that Ellie is living her best life. What a sweetheart. 😍 OK, I'm glad you are digging it too.
❤ Hopefully poor Ellie didn't get to many ticks. I thought tick season was over with all the cold and freezing weather. Can't wait to see snow camping. Definitely gonna need that heater for the winter coming up. Can't have the ceiling getting to hot to hot and it catches fire.., ❣️💕💜
I love your camping adventures. So true to the spirit of camping. One of the handiest items I've ever come across is a 'pocket bellows.' It's the size of a rollerball ink pen. What you do is, telescope it out and blow air into the campfire. It's inexpensive and great kit to own.
This is balm after a busy week, Jack. Hope you are OK-couldn't help but notice the wrist splint ! A super camp out, serene and cozy in your bike cabin under the stars and pines. Love how you are always thinking of modifications to make the cabins more comfortable! All good wishes to you, Ellie and of course the lovely Rylie and Olivia!
I love your passion for the outdoors and the national parks. I've viewed a few of your episodes of Rock the Park. I like them! But nothing beats the relaxing and calming tone of this channel. It's such a blessing.
I got hooked on your two other bike camper videos. I subd and shared them with family. Luv in this episode. If you attached a chuck box not too big but with a lid that you could prop up as a table for food prep, propane cooking, or whatever that would really make it nice. You have inspired me to build one.
Oh my God, I literally paused your video and went into my bathroom and had to check myself I just got back from harvesting Chaga out in the woods didn’t even think about the ticks 😂
Hello Jack and Ellie. New subscriber, thank you for taking us along. We love watching your adventures. We love all of your builds. Hubby and i cant agree.. i like the a frame. Take care and God bless.
Just wonderful 😊 makes me feel better I am having a tough time at the moment, my husband has been in and out of hospital 3 times in the last few months. Currently back in hospital 😢. These Volgs really cheer me up ❤
Hey Jack! Boy,the sound of the rain hitting the roof of your bike camper must be so relaxing! Bet you slept like a baby! Enjoyed the video! Have a great week and we’ll see you next time!
1925 to 2501 views during my time watching your latest video. We all await your newest one each week! Watching Ellie gives us all a boost for the rest of the week!😊
I love the tiny cabin! Very peaceful time enjoying nature. Ellie sure has fun rolling around on the ground. Beautiful fall colors. I look forward to your winter camping adventures!
❤ I really enjoy your videos! You and your growing family spending time together out in nature. I really love your tiny cabins! ❤ I dream of having one of my own...I'm disabled and it just wouldn't be possible for me. I live vicariously through you and your family 👪 ❤ take care. God bless you always 🙏
Another wonderful video, Jack. Beautiful camera work. Your tiny bike cabin reminds me of the 6' x 6' tent I backpacked all over the world in, in the 1980s. 35 countries and principalities.. Technically it was a "two man" tent, but it was just right for one person. I slept in it diagonally, but couldn't quite stand up in it. Isn't it great to have a tiny cocoon to get back to, especially in inclement weather? I also carried a thermal sleeping bag and a tiny, collapsible butane cooking stove. Wonderful times. But I didn't have a great dog like Ellie with me. Blessings to you, Riley, Olivia and Ellie.
I love watching your channel its always a fun adventure. Missed the girls ( 2 of them ) u got lucky Jack your ladies are Beautiful !! I love all cabins n U n Your Family. Been here a long time n enjoy every minute. Thanks for sharing this journey with me it means the world to me. God Bless Ya'll Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan Tam ❤️ ♥️ 💕 p.s. Hay Jack, I love the tiny cabin that you built. You are very clever The place the beautiful scenery in Minnesota. I understand why you like nature. Thank you for doing this video. love the peacefulness, too.😮 Ellie is so cute. She wants you to scratch her back 😂
I found your channel a few days ago and it is absolutely amazing. The peace and quiet of the middle of nowhere is amazing. I go up to the mountains away from all the people and noise when ever I can. Maybe put some fire resistant drywall in that area near the heater
What a great video. Ellie is absolutely awesome and your bike cabin is so cool. Thanks for taking us along on you camping trip. Looking forward to more camping adventures with you and the family.❤
Ellie is such a good girl she listens to you very well when she knows she can't go swimming. She finds other ways to have fun By getting dirty . Saying overnight and enjoying the outdoors is a lot of fun I'm hoping you and Ellie stayed safe from all the ticks..I can't wait to see what you do with the heater so the roof doesn't get too hot inside,I know you'll come up with something perfect
Jack, I'm glad you can give Ellie her best adventurous life. You don't stop her from much of her enjoyment. My American Pit Conan would love it if he could work better (he's 9 and had a tough life before me) You guys brighten up the end of my night before bed. It's so peaceful to watch you guys.
I love that you thank God for your food . You get to enjoy His creation and all the blessings He has given you! Including your beautiful family! A pleasure to watch😊
I can so relate to the frustration of ticks. Last month I went in the woods behind my house and upon arriving back inside discovered dozens of seed ticks all over me. 😳😭 I’ve never had so many ticks on me at once! I live in the south but still I thought they would have dwindled down by then.
If all you ever showed was cooking dinner for your family and El, and then getting ready for the night to sleep and have a nice adult beverage. That to me would make me sleep a wonderful sleep. Awesome vid my friend! Holidays coming up can't wait to see what's in store ❤ ya family!!!
Thanks for always taking into consideration what we love. Seems like the rain is more and more of a weekly occurrence and it's awesome. Love the videos as always. 25k more to go!
Thank you for the Nortiv 8 discount code. I was impressed by your review and the price was great, so I ordered a pair of the Armadillo boots. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn - sturdy too!
That little bike cabin is pretty damn cool. Being claustrophobic I could never do it, but it’s a good addition to the channel. Ticks were so bad in Northern Michigan this year I stopped taking the pooch for walks after finding them on him 3 times in a row.
Such a sweet and precious dog. A wonderful friend and companion.
❤️🐕

I really think you're on to something with this small survival cabin combined with an ebike.
Thanks! I agree 🙌🏽

Aw sorry for your loss😭😭🌹🌹🌷🌷.
I’ve had a stressful past couple of days, and I can honestly say watching your videos after a hard day has helped ease some of my tension. God bless!
Yes! Me too.....
I'm so glad to hear that 🙏🏽
Love that you and "Girl in the Woods" pray before eating! Love these channels! They are so relaxing after a crazy day in the city!
So glad!
No better friend than a man’s dog. It’s loyal, and always wants to be with you

I can't think of anything more wonderful than a warm, dry space with the sound of rain on the roof.
Agreed!
I love these extra tiny cabin adventures, Ellie is such a sweet girl. Thank you again for taking us along. 😊
Glad you like them! It’s been such a fun change of pace!
Ticks eeewwwww hate those things. That was a nice venture. Thanks
Same!
Ellie is so obedient. She understood you when you asked her to not go into the muddy water. She laid down in the long grass. But then.... she had a roll-around in the sand. lol It's so heart warming to see the love between you both. God bless.

Literally came across you channel 10mins ago absolutely love your channel keep up the good work
Amazing! Welcome!!
Hope the bugs didn't tick you off. 😉 Thank you for another simple, relaxing video and of course the chuckles from Ellie's antics.
Haha thanks so much!
A 2x2 ft piece of tin makes a fantastic fire shield for when it's pouring rain, lay it over the fire...works perfectly!
Oh wow! Great idea 👍🏽
Love your dog Ellie and love your videos. Live, Laugh, Love Positive Vibes🐶🪷🌸💗😇
Thank you so much!
I think this is the first burrito meal I've seen you eat without that awesome hot sauce!!!! The trees and all the fall colors are just gorgeous!!!
I forgot to bring it 😅
Nice shoes. I like the way you can always tell an older dog; the hair on their face turns gray.
Ellie really seems to be a very happy girl living her best life with you. I really enjoy your adventures together.
😊 thank you
Every time you close the door, I think there’s a bear outside, lol. I’m really enjoying your video. Got the ebike. A trailer would be a blast!
Haha thanks so much!
I love the smile on Ellie's face as she's livin her best life. You love her and she loves you. So thankful she's healthy and always ready for adventure! My lab mix was always rolling in something smelly at the beach, pure joy❤
Haha they love doing that 😅👍🏽
Oh wow! I literally was just thinking I hope you check for ticks on BOTH of you...
😬👍🏽
Beautiful area to camp! The colorful trees. Love Ellie so much, she is such a good dog. Always look forward to your videos❤
Thank you so much!
I lowered my blood pressure just by watching your video. So cozy and serine......I love Elie by the way 😊 Another great video. Thank you for bringing us!

That’s a great idea 👍🏽 I definitely will have to try it. I’m looking into a diesel heater potentially for the winter here. We shall see!
The fall folage is so beautiful, special place....
Agreed 😊
I love the cabin set up ! You definitely know your craft. Be careful of those ticks, it hasn’t been cold enough to rid them for the season. Thanks for having us along.
Thanks so much! Definitely need to be more tick aware!

I will definitely try that! I already put a heat shield up on the ceiling (it’ll be in a later video) and that has helped a ton 👍🏽👍🏽
Love that you are a man of faith. Camping is your happy place. Hope Ellie didnt have ticks stuck on her. Thanks for sharing. Liked your orange jacket too

Glad you and Ellie had a good time. I hate ticks!
Same!
Hi Jack and Ellie. That little camper would be so cool to stay in in a rain shower. Oh wow i would have had to give Ellie a great look over for the ticks . Ticks are seriously the worst! Thank you so much as always 😊🙏🏽
I actually added a heat shield up there right after this trip 😊👍🏽
I look forward to joining you and your family on these adventures. Such a sense of peace....

So glad you found us! It’s the best getting away right? And good call on the ceiling. I just out in a heat shield right after this outing 👍🏽
What a great video. Ellie is absolutely awesome and your bike cabin is so cool. Thanks for taking us along on you camping trip. Looking forward to more camping adventures with you and the family.❤
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much! And I actually made something for the heater right after this 😊👍🏽
Ellie is so precious
Thoroughly enjoying your adventures with beautiful Ellie! Thanks for sharing 😊
Of course! Thanks for watching!
Watching from Alberta, Canada. I love your videos, and Ellie adds such a special touch!
Thank you so much!
That means so much. Thank you! And Ellie certainly is living her best life 🙌🏽
I love that you thank God for your food . You get to enjoy His creation and all the blessings He has given you! Including your beautiful family! A pleasure to watch😊
😊🙏🏽
I can so relate to the frustration of ticks. Last month I went in the woods behind my house and upon arriving back inside discovered dozens of seed ticks all over me. 😳😭 I’ve never had so many ticks on me at once! I live in the south but still I thought they would have dwindled down by then.
17:12 great view
great autumn colors and wıth Ellie
😊🙏🏽
Amen! Anything can go in a Burrito! Try shrimp on your next camp out! Great times watching your videos, oh and hug Ellie for us!
Great idea!!
If all you ever showed was cooking dinner for your family and El, and then getting ready for the night to sleep and have a nice adult beverage. That to me would make me sleep a wonderful sleep. Awesome vid my friend! Holidays coming up can't wait to see what's in store ❤ ya family!!!
That’s my favorite part of the day as well! Thank you so much! 😊

Stay safe n healthy
God bless 😊
Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you for the Nortiv 8 discount code. I was impressed by your review and the price was great, so I ordered a pair of the Armadillo boots. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn - sturdy too!
Ellie is just precious!
🐕❤️
thank you. ellie was making autumn snow angels. ticks 😱
Haha she was!
That little bike cabin is pretty damn cool. Being claustrophobic I could never do it, but it’s a good addition to the channel. Ticks were so bad in Northern Michigan this year I stopped taking the pooch for walks after finding them on him 3 times in a row.
Thanks so much! I’m loving it. And they really were horrible here too…such a bummer
@@TinyCabinLife As somebody who grew up camping, fishing, and hunting, I agree. It's sucks!
