N’s story is sad too. I think the implication is that N turned into Z. He was so sad about F’s death being his fault that he hunched over on his side, and stayed there until all the emotion drained from him, turning him white. Moral of the story: don’t stand idle when you see bullying.

There’s so many little details in this, like the punctuation marks that have unique powers that reflect to the actual ones, G calling the letters in Morse Code, the word Coward when lowercase n zooms out towards f, the fact that LMNOP is a superhero team because it goes fast in the alphabet song, when N is a superhero he is Ñ, X having to multiply with an asterisk. It’s insane that a series with this many small details has so little views. Seriously underrated! Z's Punctuation Mark is an Ellipsis "...", used for ominous tones or silence, and Zs are usually used ti depict the sound of snoring (idk why that was always written like that). So from what we can infer is that Z is the silent watcher, asleep yet awake to see the tragedy of this civilization unfurl into chaos and treachery.
Genuinely from the bottom of my heart this series about letters from the english alphabet has shook me to my core and permanently left an impact on my life that no other movie or tv show has ever done before.
The fact that F gets revenge on a lot of letters in the same ways they beat him up as a kid, like stomping on I, shooting something at J, and nailing T back into the ground, or how other parts are mirrored in that section, like C biting F, just adds even more to this. It's insane that you made an animation about the alphabet that could be analyzed for hours.
I keep watching it back and noticing new stuff, like how when f is staring down at all the other letters and you can see n through o, they once again spell out "coward"

This series was emotional and I’m not even lying. I genuinely started crying at the end. I was expecting some silly animations but instead I found a creative masterpiece. The fact that you took inspiration from something so simple as the alphabet and turned it into such a series with an awesome and deep lore is amazing! I really hope we see more of this and get and happy ending in the future!
I was expecting N to evolve into Z and kill F but they took it in a different and ultimately better direction where they humanized F and explained his actions, which also deepened the running theme of N's cowardice and gave an origin story for the punctuation marks, as well as explaining why Q was chasing them the entire time. Truly one of the masterpieces of our time.
I came to this thinking I'd see something stupid, and this is a true hidden gem. You made this so well done that it sends a great message about friendship and bullies. Z feels so bad for F in this situation, and he couldn't do snything about it since he holds all the other letters up. And F was blinded by revenge that N had to make the ultimate sacrifice and kill his only childhood friend who turned evil. Truly a masterpiece.
one thing that i don't see a lot of people talking about is that F still wanted to be friends with N because if you look when Q is about to spit out the ? it spells out "FRIENDS" on the wall, but everyone is dead meaning F was collecting those specific letters and planned to bring N all along just so he could be friends again
Truly a different story than what was first expected. The saddest part was that Q was the warning, but he ended up too late. But the most sad part of all, was Z. He couldn't do anything to stop it all from happening. He just had to watch it all unfold. edit: Im famous now :D

He’s lived for thousands of years (hence the cracks, to show that he is an ancient entity) and has witnessed thousands of tales. He’s crying because despite being the most omnipotent being, he couldn’t interfere. Truly powerful and touching lore 😢. I will say with confidence that this is one of the lores of all time 😔

When I was a child (and still now) I would love to make stories out of basic things like colours or cards, but everytime I would get stuck on the origin or who their parents were, that would always mess with my brain and make me feel guilty that my stories didn't make sense. But after watching this video and how Z turned out to be the planet, I realised that it's not about the biology but about the creativity. I don't know if this will help anyone, but it helped me. I love how detailed this is, one that not many people pointed out is how H dies by smelling a fart, later on is literally farted out. So many little things make this whole video better as a whole

The thing that I love the most is that there's no dialogue yet it tells such a cool story and shows of so much personality in the characters. Obviously there's a few 'words' like why or gg, but these are just jokes and there's the spellings of coward and friends, but they wouldn't make sense without the context.
Why doesn't really count considering that its spelled y. both gg and y while can be interpreted as word they are only implying them through the fact that saying g twice is the same as gg and saying y is the same as why. Anyway all of this to say there was no dialogue in the sense that none of them spoke anything that could be understood as Information to us. And obviously I am excluding the way u say a word Wich does tell the emotional state of the letter but it doesn't in my opinion count as dialogue or at least it is only a fraction of what makes dialogue. The music at the end, Y being used as a punch-line, the letters being able to form words, the backstory, the use of the punctuations as special gems, and how the lowercase and uppercase letters meaning age. Each letter is introduced in order, you never see them before their place in the song comes up! It's all, perfect! 10/10 would watch again, anytime. 13:26 Every 2nd grader when someone says "stupid"
I am firmly convinced this is one of the best examples of short-form, creative, and flat-out amazing pieces of storytelling. Characters are easily readable. The story evolves naturally and without filler. The art is creative, despite it being the literal alphabet. It even has good character development & callbacks! Bravo! This is what RUclips was made for (and I have been on RUclips since 2005).
I keep wanting more. This story is incredible and tragic, and I can’t help but crave more from this world. The attention to detail is FANTASTIC. Upon rewatches you can see things such as how F shows immense disdain for L and O specifically, the fact that F puts the gem down instead of trying to fight N showing that they want something else, and how F kills J instantly because they broke F’s teeth. But honestly since F bumped into R, R should’ve been able to tell that it wasn’t intentional.
Even the way F was physically assaulted by the other letters have been reciprocated back. e used d to smack f which we see F smacking E with D. i stomped on f which in turn causes I to get Pixar Stomped by F j shot f with projectiles which in turn causes F to use I to blast J Both m and M would hit F the same way in both times but just M lost against F t would smack f from behind. T would later get bonked on the head by F Before X could do any martial arts like how x did, F immediately ate them. It is unknown as to why F fights fair with X. So the physical trauma of F was returned back from all of the letters that were dogging F
Q's character was tragic, maybe even *MORE* tragic than F's story. My guy legit had to sit through the trauma of realizing what's about to happen, tries to tell the crew, but is too slow for the other letters to care. It's like looking into the future realizing your best friend is gonna die, trying to warn them, but they think your joking. That must suck *TONS*
@@TrickyPchester0948 they're unable to interact with any of the other letters AND they're helpless to try and change it in any way -- at least Q was able to catch up to the other letters and eventually give N his question mark, and F was able to get his point across after he died...god knows if any of the other letters even know Z exists (unless maybe they're the other letters' ancestor/parent? would explain why they have cracks around the edges of their body).
My mind is blown, that was actually a really good story. One that truly made me feel sorry for F by the end. And the art style was just super iconic. Bravo!

I can't stop feeling emotional over this... it explains the effects of bullying perfectly. F was only trying to help n, but that same kindness caused him to turn into an alphabet killing machine. Q trying to warn them this whole time was really sad, because it was too late. F was killed by the one friend he loved and cared for the entire time. And Z having to watch all this helplessly made me cry along with him. :..( I felt super touched when the alphabet song started to play around the end of the video... A perfect story that should be turned into a movie some day!!!
someone probably did this but i'm gonna basically explain all the letters A- probably the most useful letter out of all, without him, cab, map, and many others will not appear B- can flap its thingy's to fly C- can fly but it flies kinda like a sea creature D-its literal only use was to write out friends E-same as D F-the main antagonist of the story. Despite the amount of trash, ""kids"" videos and clickbait that was based off of this series, it's impossible to deny that this is an absolute masterpiece.
summary: Instead of killing all the letters, F’s main goal in the series was to kidnap all the letters in “friends” (possibly to spell the word). This is because F was friends with the letters in “friends” but it almost ended because of L & O’s bullying. Once they managed to hurt N, F got payback on L&O by spelling “fart” but that only started to make F the target for bullying. L then pushed F together with R I C and K to spell a (so-called) swear word with O getting everyone’s attention. This had made all the letters hate F and thus hurt him continuously. To me, N was just there when F tripped and didn’t mean to trip him but the problem was that he betrayed F because he was a “coward” (linking back to W’s introduction) this made F cry those Punctuation Gems and separate himself from the other letters. Lastly, when Q ate the question mark, he saw what had happened in the future and tried to warn the other letters but was just too slow. Another thing to note: Each of the Punctuation Gems have a superpower: Period - Freezes Someone Comma - Makes time slower Colon&Semicolon - Forces letters together Exclamation Point - Super Speed Asterisk (*) - Duplication Question Mark - Seeing the future edit: how tf did i get so many likes and replies
I feel bad for Q. His whole life he’s been slowly chasing everyone, but then they leave when Q is just out of reach, and he has to start all over again. He’s been traumatized since he saw the vision, and has been going as fast as he can to warn the others of the tragedy to come. At least now, he can finally rest.

Saw this on NG a week ago, and I was astonished at this. A genuine story with motivations, a plot, and overall, a clever ussage of our ussage of letters. Even on rewatch there is a lot to discover; I didn't noticed f's teeth were straight, untill they broke and became sharp. All in all, excelent series.
The three most tragic characters: F - He was bullied and stuck on a cave for years and just wanted to have friends again. Q - He knew literally everything that'll happen in the future, which is already enough to probably scar someone. But he tried to warn everyone but he was too slow. And when he did, it was far too late. Z - He is literally the entire planet. He saw every story, including this one. Imagine being immortal and not able to do anything.
I’d argue for the honorable mention of the tragic death of character P, they were trying to protect everyone and even was an emotional support to two characters, N and G. However, P was shot in the back by the ones they supported with both G and N forming a Gun after a case of mistaken identity from being mutilated from F.
13:43 Suddenly, every single one of F's actions make sense. First he was bitten by C, then again before killing him. Then he was shot by J, hence why he used I to blast him, he was jumped by I, which he did the same, jumped by T, whom he hammered. Then he was beaten by E using D, which is exactly what he did when he was introduced. Then he tripped G, which was what happened to set everyone in this quest, all of his tears were stolen by L, M, N, O, P and X, with Q getting a vision of what was to come.
Q had such interesting character development, Q is seen to be this slow, snail-like character (because it's the letter after the fast l m n o p) but realizing how Q was following them and saying "Q" every time it shows up, come to find out that Q was trying to warn the other letters of the inevitable fate of all of the other letters, and every time it say "Q" it's calling out to the other letters, to warn them, i love how x was used, it has an asterisk as their special gem and can multiply (and both the asterisk and x are used for multiplication) and then the reveal for Z, being the ground they were on the whole time, I went into this video expecting some simple, funny stuff but nothing too much, in reality, i got a great story, great use for characters, with every little detail being intertwined with the letter. thank you Mike for blessing me with, truly, a work of art

I love how Z is just the whole alphabets planet instead of a small letter because you'll notice how Z stands for "Zone" yet he can still see "F" suffering and do nothing but cry in sorrow for him.
Love how when Z says.. well, Z, it sounds like "Zeeend" which make it not only sound like the 2 pronunciations of Z (zee and zed) but also it makes it sound like "the end". Now if only they could do that with the 2 pronunciations of H (haych and aych)

When I first watched this, I though F was just gonna be the antagonist, but no, he had a VERY good reason to hurt everyone and you know, Z is the one that had witness this all. Q never got the chance to warn his friends, and F....never got any respect because of something he didn't do. It's like a meme, yet a whole Disney movie at the same time. Great job man, great job.
Did anyone think about the fact that "H" is a ghost. I know he died from smelling a bad fart, but can we talk about the fact that the letter "H" is usually silent in a word. such as honor, hour, honest, heir, vehicle, and vehement. (but the last two kind of depend on your accent and how you say things). But "H" being a ghost in this context means that he is silent, considering you can barely hear him in his introduction, 1:09. This series is way better then it has any right to be! The effort is astonishing! The amount of story portrayed in such a simple yet recognizable setting is proof of you're mastery of story telling, and that's without mention of the amazing animation and use of comedy, both visual comedy and comedy displayed by the limited dialogue the charcaters have, the passion is bursting through the seems of this amazing series. This is also a great example of an idea not over staying it's welcome, it ran its course and ended on a high note.
I just realized in the "n" part, they were lower cased letters while in the other episode, they were upper cased. This means that "F" got evil after being exiled. And that the real villains were "o" and 'l"

I really love all of the little details and the backstory behind it all. I find F to be a very sympathetic character because of what he went through, and that he didn't deserve death. Sure, he may have killed other letters throughout, but it seemed like he just wanted his friends back even if doing it by force. What also makes him so sympathetic is not only was he not evil from the start, but also because everyone backstabbed and hurt him for something that wasn't even his fault. By the eclipse symbol that Z cried in the end, I have a feeling that it may not be the end yet, and maybe there will be a happy ending after all
I know :( how much tragedy in the real world could have been prevented if people were nice to other people, there were better systems in place to help people with big problems, etc.
I feel bad for F and Q. F was trying to get friends but he accidently made a swear word. Which wasn’t even his fault, which lead him to be one of the most hated, spending his whole life watching everyone celebrate while he is alone in his cave… Q tries to warn the others but he’s too slow. And he’s alone too. No one to help him. And when it already happened he’s too late, he never gets any help, F for both of them
But yeah he has a couple million years till the alphabet dies or gets recreated (or if it doesn't get recreated then it'll stay forever) so ig he got some time.
Okay, so, let's break some things down. Mainly, the stones As everyone has probably figured out, each stone is a symbol of some sort. L gets a period, M gets a comma, N gets a semicolon, O gets a full colon, P gets an exclamation mark, X gets a multiplication sign (which is interesting not only because multiplication signs aren't commonly found in the English language, unlike the other stones, but also because sometimes x itself is used for multiplication), and F, or, better yet, Q, gets a question mark And finally, there's Z, who gets an ellipse Now, a more unknown fact might be that the power that the gems give are directly linked to their symbols For example: L's stone (the period) stops people in place, like how a period stops a sentence M's stone (the comma) slows things down, like how a comma is used to slow down a sentence by taking a quick break N's stone (the semicolon) attaches two things together, like how a semicolon attaches two sentences together O's stone (the colon) can gravitate multiple people and attach them to one letter, like how a colon attaches multiple items to one list P's stone (the exclamation mark) makes her incredibly fast, like how an exclamation mark is used in a sentence to emphasize a fast pace or excitement X's stone (the multiplication sign) gives him the ability to multiply... do I even need to explain this one? Q's stone (the question mark) gives a person full omniscience, and answers every question about life, which is, weirdly enough, the opposite of what a question mark does And finally, there's Z, who has the ellipse stones, which signify a continuation, so, unless it gets canceled, I think a part 2 is definitely in the works As to what that continuation is, who knows? My main guess would be that it's probably about numbers, since we now know that math exists in this universe (through X and his stone). Who knows? Maybe X will have a bigger part in this than we thought. I mean, it was a little weird how he got dispatched so easily, given that he's one of the very few characters who was gifted with a stone, and plus, while definitely painful, his wounds didn't seem all that fatal I also feel like X and Y feel have a huge part to play in the continuation, if my theory of it being about numbers is correct, since X and Y are the main substitutes for when you don't know the value of a certain number Plus, X and Y seem to have a deep relationship that was never really explored, introduced, or ever brought up again, so a part 2 with them getting a major role could explore that a little more. Wow, I'm really overanalyzing the alphabet. One thing is for certain, though, however this continues, I'll be all here for it Edit: To everyone saying that X's stone was an asterisk: how did he multiply, then? I don't remember asterisks having anything to do with multiplication. Plus, asterisks double as multiplication marks Edit 2: Called it

There’s so many little details in this, like the punctuation marks that have unique powers that reflect to the actual ones, G calling the letters in Morse Code, the word Coward when lowercase n zooms out towards f, the fact that LMNOP is a superhero team because it goes fast in the alphabet song, when N is a superhero he is Ñ, X having to multiply with an asterisk. It’s insane that a series with this many small details has so little views. Seriously underrated!

Z's Punctuation Mark is an Ellipsis "...", used for ominous tones or silence, and Zs are usually used ti depict the sound of snoring (idk why that was always written like that). This series was emotional and I’m not even lying. I genuinely started crying at the end. I was expecting some silly animations but instead I found a creative masterpiece. The fact that you took inspiration from something so simple as the alphabet and turned it into such a series with an awesome and deep lore is amazing! I was expecting N to evolve into Z and kill F but they took it in a different and ultimately better direction where they humanized F and explained his actions, which also deepened the running theme of N's cowardice and gave an origin story for the punctuation marks, as well as explaining why Q was chasing them the entire time. Truly one of the masterpieces of our time.

I came to this thinking I'd see something stupid, and this is a true hidden gem. You made this so well done that it sends a great message about friendship and bullies. Z feels so bad for F in this situation, and he couldn't do snything about it since he holds all the other letters up. And F was blinded by revenge that N had to make the ultimate sacrifice and kill his only childhood friend who turned evil. Truly a masterpiece.
one thing that i don't see a lot of people talking about is that F still wanted to be friends with N because if you look when Q is about to spit out the ? it spells out "FRIENDS" on the wall, but everyone is dead meaning F was collecting those specific letters and planned to bring N all along just so he could be friends again

When I was a child (and still now) I would love to make stories out of basic things like colours or cards, but everytime I would get stuck on the origin or who their parents were, that would always mess with my brain and make me feel guilty that my stories didn't make sense. But after watching this video and how Z turned out to be the planet, I realised that it's not about the biology but about the creativity.

The thing that I love the most is that there's no dialogue yet it tells such a cool story and shows of so much personality in the characters. Obviously there's a few 'words' like why or gg, but these are just jokes and there's the spellings of coward and friends, but they wouldn't make sense without the context.

both gg and y while can be interpreted as word they are only implying them through the fact that saying g twice is the same as gg and saying y is the same as why.
Anyway all of this to say there was no dialogue in the sense that none of them spoke anything that could be understood as Information to us.
And obviously I am excluding the way u say a word Wich does tell the emotional state of the letter but it doesn't in my opinion count as dialogue or at least it is only a fraction of what makes dialogue.

The music at the end, Y being used as a punch-line, the letters being able to form words, the backstory, the use of the punctuations as special gems, and how the lowercase and uppercase letters meaning age. Each letter is introduced in order, you never see them before their place in the song comes up! It's all, perfect! 10/10 would watch again, anytime.

I am firmly convinced this is one of the best examples of short-form, creative, and flat-out amazing pieces of storytelling. Characters are easily readable. The story evolves naturally and without filler. The art is creative, despite it being the literal alphabet. It even has good character development & callbacks! Bravo! I keep wanting more. This story is incredible and tragic, and I can’t help but crave more from this world. The attention to detail is FANTASTIC. Upon rewatches you can see things such as how F shows immense disdain for L and O specifically, the fact that F puts the gem down instead of trying to fight N showing that they want something else, and how F kills J instantly because they broke F’s teeth. But honestly since F bumped into R, R should’ve been able to tell that it wasn’t intentional.

My guy legit had to sit through the trauma of realizing what's about to happen, tries to tell the crew, but is too slow for the other letters to care. It's like looking into the future realizing your best friend is gonna die, trying to warn them, but they think your joking. That must suck *TONS*

So that’s why videos from 2022 reminded me of Alphabet Lore
I can't stop feeling emotional over this... it explains the effects of bullying perfectly. F was only trying to help n, but that same kindness caused him to turn into an alphabet killing machine. Q trying to warn them this whole time was really sad, because it was too late. F was killed by the one friend he loved and cared for the entire time. And Z having to watch all this helplessly made me cry along with him. :..( I felt super touched when the alphabet song started to play around the end of the video... A perfect story that should be turned into a movie some day!!!

Despite the amount of trash, ""kids"" videos and clickbait that was based off of this series, it's impossible to deny that this is an absolute masterpiece.
summary:
Instead of killing all the letters, F’s main goal in the series was to kidnap all the letters in “friends” (possibly to spell the word). This is because F was friends with the letters in “friends” but it almost ended because of L & O’s bullying. Once they managed to hurt N, F got payback on L&O by spelling “fart” but that only started to make F the target for bullying. L then pushed F together with R I C and K to spell a (so-called) swear word with O getting everyone’s attention. This had made all the letters hate F and thus hurt him continuously. To me, N was just there when F tripped and didn’t mean to trip him but the problem was that he betrayed F because he was a “coward” (linking back to W’s introduction) this made F cry those Punctuation Gems and separate himself from the other letters. Lastly, when Q ate the question mark, he saw what had happened in the future and tried to warn the other letters but was just too slow.
Another thing to note:
Each of the Punctuation Gems have a superpower:
Period - Freezes Someone
Comma - Makes time slower
Colon&Semicolon - Forces letters together
Exclamation Point - Super Speed
Asterisk (*) - Duplication
Question Mark - Seeing the future

Saw this on NG a week ago, and I was astonished at this. A genuine story with motivations, a plot, and overall, a clever ussage of our ussage of letters. Even on rewatch there is a lot to discover; I didn't noticed f's teeth were straight, untill they broke and became sharp. All in all, excelent series.
The three most tragic characters:
F - He was bullied and stuck on a cave for years and just wanted to have friends again.
Q - He knew literally everything that'll happen in the future, which is already enough to probably scar someone. But he tried to warn everyone but he was too slow. And when he did, it was far too late.
Z - He is literally the entire planet. He saw every story, including this one. Imagine being immortal and not able to do anything.

I’d argue for the honorable mention of the tragic death of character P, they were trying to protect everyone and even was an emotional support to two characters, N and G. Q had such interesting character development, Q is seen to be this slow, snail-like character (because it's the letter after the fast l m n o p) but realizing how Q was following them and saying "Q" every time it shows up, come to find out that Q was trying to warn the other letters of the inevitable fate of all of the other letters, and every time it say "Q" it's calling out to the other letters, to warn them,
i love how x was used, it has an asterisk as their special gem and can multiply (and both the asterisk and x are used for multiplication) and then the reveal for Z, being the ground they were on the whole time,
I went into this video expecting some simple, funny stuff but nothing too much, in reality, i got a great story, great use for characters, with every little detail being intertwined with the letter. thank you Mike for blessing me with, truly, a work of art

I know he died from smelling a bad fart, but can we talk about the fact that the letter "H" is usually silent in a word. such as honor, hour, honest, heir, vehicle, and vehement. This series is way better then it has any right to be! The effort is astonishing! The amount of story portrayed in such a simple yet recognizable setting is proof of you're mastery of story telling, and that's without mention of the amazing animation and use of comedy, both visual comedy and comedy displayed by the limited dialogue the charcaters have, the passion is bursting through the seems of this amazing series. This is also a great example of an idea not over staying it's welcome, it ran its course and ended on a high note.

I just realized in the "n" part, they were lower cased letters while in the other episode, they were upper cased. This means that "F" got evil after being exiled. And that the real villains were "o" and 'l"

I really love all of the little details and the backstory behind it all. I find F to be a very sympathetic character because of what he went through, and that he didn't deserve death. Sure, he may have killed other letters throughout, but it seemed like he just wanted his friends back even if doing it by force. What also makes him so sympathetic is not only was he not evil from the start, but also because everyone backstabbed and hurt him for something that wasn't even his fault. By the eclipse symbol that Z cried in the end, I have a feeling that it may not be the end yet, and maybe there will be a happy ending after all

Okay, so, let's break some things down. Mainly, the stones
As everyone has probably figured out, each stone is a symbol of some sort. Q's stone (the question mark) gives a person full omniscience, and answers every question about life, which is, weirdly enough, the opposite of what a question mark does
And finally, there's Z, who has the ellipse stones, which signify a continuation, so, unless it gets canceled, I think a part 2 is definitely in the works
As to what that continuation is, who knows? My main guess would be that it's probably about numbers, since we now know that math exists in this universe (through X and his stone). Who knows? Maybe X will have a bigger part in this than we thought. I mean, it was a little weird how he got dispatched so easily, given that he's one of the very few characters who was gifted with a stone, and plus, while definitely painful, his wounds didn't seem all that fatal
I also feel like X and Y feel have a huge part to play in the continuation, if my theory of it being about numbers is correct, since X and Y are the main substitutes for when you don't know the value of a certain number
Plus, X and Y seem to have a deep relationship that was never really explored, introduced, or ever brought up again, so a part 2 with them getting a major role could explore that a little more.

Edit: To everyone saying that X's stone was an asterisk: how did he multiply, then? I don't remember asterisks having anything to do with multiplication. Plus, asterisks double as multiplication marks

And ofcourse, 100 will be the Planet because 0 is the Starter, and 1 is the First.
