Can we all agree that the worst thing is when you are trying to escape a horde after chickening out and you promptly crash your bike and can’t get the bike up fast enough? The most terror inducing moment lol
The most terrifying moment I had was trying to put fuel in the bike. Marauders jumped me, and they brought a whole ass horde with them lmao I was beyond fucked. It happened so fast lol
That mission were you have to rescue a soldier in a mine, and if you don't leave quick enough...the horde is right on you, inside a mine! That was terror.
This game deserves a sequel. One of the few games out there that actually deserves one. Had they put a little more work in the dialogue that felt so weird and cringey at times and make the world more alive and realistic it could easily be amongst the 10 best open world games out there no question about it. Still, I don't regret spending almost 85 hours on it on my ps4 and now on pc with the mods. It's worth every moment.

This game was unfinished in development. A sequel was presented to playstation, but CEO Jim Ryan denied it because the first one did not meet expectations. Hes a SOB, hes a failure. Doesnt care about new games and what gamers/fans want, he cares only about numbers and hes still failing miserably. And u dont want a sequel til hes out because it would be another unfinished buggy game. The previous CEO was an awesome guy who was a gamer and was always interested in new ideas.
They're not malnourished. According to the story they, like us can live on meat and plants as well so hunger is not their problem. They are just ridiculously mutated
Game was a lot bigger than I thought too. I actually thought it was gonna end when he went through the pass. Only to find out the is a whole other area to explore. I was super happy as I was enjoying myself thoroughly.
Once you lose that “nervous fear” about hordes, you begin to become more effective at clearing them. Too many also depend on Napalm. Machine gun, attractor, napalm. I’ve also started dropping grenades at my feet while running and they drop huge swaths of freaks too. Once you get the strategy down, the business of dropping a horde becomes far less intimidating and it’s fun working out the chase.
Land mines are also pretty effective. If you know where to find them you can just loot them every few ingame days. I have found like 7 spots where landmines spawn lol
Bruh, I just started spraying with clips. Zero throwables. Zero traps. Zero distractions. Just load in to that horde, run, gain some distance - unload again. lol. It's fun.. but you have to have all top notch guns.
@@YungYdoc yes, that is also another effective tactic. But remember, if you start a “New Game+” You’re max skill and ability which the difficulty of the hordes until the end of the game, is quite a bit lower.

Beat this game 3 times on survival mode! Best game ever made. I keep telling myself I’m gonna try to take out all the hordes w shot guns only but after a few failed attempts, I’m back to loading up w machine guns lol
I'm 92 and love this game! Particularly taking naps here and there. I carefully avoid all hostilities - freakers, bandits, etc... I like it when the weather is fine and I can take a stroll and watch the wildlife. But a horde! I wouldn't survive ten seconds.
This is a lot easier if you just find a tower, lure them there, climb up the ladder, and then burn them all alive below you from the top. Saves you from all that crazy running.
And then you misthrow a couple and didn't manage to burn them all and realise you forgot to get enough of other resources like bombs and ammo, then you're fucked 😵
I’m towards the end in this game. Started it mid 2021 and I’m barely going to finish the story 😂. Such a good game I just get side tracked and forgot about it for a few months and recently came back to it
I'm not going to lie I never thought I'd find myself being entertained by monsters somebody else play video game but having a zombie Sophia which is pretty intense
The fact this game didn't have a horde killer mode is crazy. Literally a mode dedicated to heat waves of hordes that get crazier and crazier. I wanted to fight a horde of 10k like they were hinting at in the middle of the game. That would be insane. It could of had ammo check points.
I just played the weaver mission getting the mp3 player yesterday and i accidently brought two hordes into eachother. It took me a solid 20 minutes with no molotovs and shitty guns but i prevailed and felt really proud of my self!
Pretty cool! I've never seen anyone combine three hordes like that and take them all on at once, you even had a few tag-alongs there at the end that didn't belong!
That is epic! A true horde killer. I am terrified of hordes & typically find somewhere high to kill them from so they can’t possibly reach me. Also my Deek runs like he’s packing an extra 200 kg. I must be doing something wrong cause he drops out of sprint & runs soo slow! Epic horde killing action - good job!
Great roundup!!!!!! Man! You didn't even run out of ammo or have to do a stamina recharge!!!!! Amazing work. That's the great thing about this game. You can make it as hard or as easy as you like. I didn't used to think that when I played through the first time, but the second and third time were amazing with all my gear to start with! Great story line and game play. I've never played a game through as a completionists, but I've done this one 3 times and will do it again!
I got this game for Christmas & love it. Watching this in amazement as don't think i could EVER carry out the same!!! Had to laugh when, along with the hordes & Bear appeared too!!!

Also, sometimes i don't even complete any missions, i just go hunting for animals & ears. . . for a couple of hours.
you got the life spirit of 8 lifetimes combined in your heart to be bold enough to try 3 hordes, specially saw mill = 3 hordes already so you technically fought 6 hordes 🙂
Sawmill horde is the biggest one, 500 freakers, however, if you learn how to use the environment it becomes surprisingly easy, I have a save file just right there, and is too fun to fight that horde from time to time...

I loved playing this game in autumn 2021 especially. Perfect time of year to play it. Deserves a sequel! PS4 was blessed with so many amazing exclusives. The ones I've played and enjoyed are: Infamous: Second Son Uncharted 4 Horizon Zero Dawn Spider-Man Days Gone Gotta play God Of War and Ghost Of Tsushima still.
I have noticed when you try to get a horde to a spot and let them chase you, you will lose some and the horde will be harder to fully complete. It doesnt matter when you completed the game. I have had some hords where I killed like 99% but I lost the 1% and i had to search really long for the few scattered ones. My best tip is just go for a horde or dont. Dont just kill half or try to lure them....
The bear has balls. He ain't scared of nobody 😅. Even if he's surrounded. He's guaranteed to take 20 freakers down with him. Biting them and throwing them in the air 😂😂😂

I’m proud to say my first time playing I’ve only fallen once to a horde , I should’ve played it on the hardest bc them years on call of duty zombies really helped out 😂
One of the scariest for me was when I did a mission finding a guy for Cptn. Kouri in a cave of Marauders and I seen a wall of bliod and trash and when i looked up a horde fell out of the shaft on me and I got jumped after they chased me to the ladder

That's a problem with NPCs in seemingly all games. The player runs out of stamina, but NPCs don't.

i do once for sherman, shooting them with the auto shotgun over and over, cant count how many times i run to the bike for refill XD

Try using stamina cocktails when fighting hordes, they really are must in those situations.
