Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but with turrets you can include/exclude dinos that can be shot, so long as you have that dino class within range to select it from the radial wheel. I have my turrets only shooting dinos that will actually cause problems at my base.

I love how the Rex and Carno foot-steps are quiet now. That's what I hated most about using Rex's and Carno's (and Allos) in ASE.. In this game it's so nice, I've started using them much more in ASA. I'm not sure if any of the streamers have noticed this change, yet.

I always kinda wished with ark rather then using the trophies we get from dinos to summon bosses we could have used em to make equipment as well. Like better harvesting tools/fist weapon using therezino claws. Creature grapple hook so we can hook onto fliers or onto another person's mount or onto a player with argy or Tylo maul em a bit or swing around or climb trees. With the rex arm we can make tool that let's us hold onto to are mounts so we can't dismounted by bs, spino sail increase swim speed, sarupod and Sarco skin we can enhance armor with however it changes the weight or effectiveness of armor sarupod makes armor heavy, but more durable while sarco makes it sleek and increases movement speed, Tentacle would be for bungie jumping. Arlo brain we can make a dish which we can use it to get more engram points once we reach maximum level however there is a cap. Yuti lungs we can either make a potion or deep breath to extend oxygen or one time use item that allows us to to scare tamed or wild Dinos and players away with a long cooldown immunity window once the fear goes away after one is used so you can't just do endless in pvp.

You know, the fact that you have so many Theri's, combined with the fact that you never see them with babies, makes me wonder if they're bugged somehow and they ARE having wild babies, but the wild baby Theri maturation rate is screwed up and hyper-accelerated, so the Theris aren't over-spawning, they're actually just spitting out hyper-fast-growing babies and creating whole adult family units in hours. 😅
the Hit boxes on the Rex are kind of ridiculous once you get a few of them they are constantly getting hung up on each other. and the tail is the worst. I love the rexes dont get me wrong .. but they get quite 'Knotty' in groups.
The stats for the Rex are actually pretty bad: HP - 39 (40-45 was ideal in ASE, but should be more around 50-60 in ASA I'd imagine) Stam - 30 (Never really mattered on a Rex, but is really low) O2 - 29 (Seems high but, considering the change, is actually pretty low) Food - 50 (Here's where most of the points went...) Weight - 37 (About average, but could be better) Damage - 49 (Is average, but should be much higher without movement speed)
Speaking of free feet. I still remember when he used to play with other people and 1 of them named Cheese made a Syntac foot shrine with supposedly a pic of Syntac,s actual feet lol.
*and here we go* Also reminder: when you see on the Dex the kibble needed,it means it accepts same tier or superior,so this means that a permanent yuti egg farm for the last tier is guaranteed to work on any dino. Except,of course,specific diet/challenge taming method.
If you're going to set up an automated Egg farm, it's easier to do it with one or two Maewings, they lay every type of egg needed for every normal type of Kibble, and they lay enough of those eggs to keep an entire tribe in Kibble for a long time.
Can you imagine if ark had finite populations? Like if theres 4 gigas in the whole map; you can breed and release them into the wild. Or you could kill every therezino and theyd be classified as "extinct "so they couldnt spawn anymore
This would get abused so much there would only be one tribe that live on every server even in pve and then the game will die quicker than it currently is rn
I've always found ovis awful to find in the Island. They either spawn in areas full of predators, areas covered by trees or on the snow where the more common light colors are hard to see. Doesn't help that I keep mistaking them for balled up doedicurus lol
When it comes to making sure your Dino that your taming doesn’t get hit it’s never over kill to add what ever structures you need to make sure of it!!! 😀👍

I think it makes sense that the theris don’t have wild babies around them because they aren’t maternal. I think if you take their eggs they don’t normally rage on you.
