can't believe ppl were saying this performance was bad! this is a very beautiful performance from frank (as always) God, i miss him these days
The problem was he turned up late then had to cut his set due to curfew, most of the set was a dj mix and a him dancing to play back music. We only got like 20 mins of singing

@@scottthomas4927 it was about an hour 15 minutes of him performing, 15 min of the dj set and those tracks at the end with the playback , more than enough to call it the best performance Ive witnessed and yes the time between songs was off putting but every song he sang my jaw was on the floor, left me speechless for days afterwards. not trying to dickride him but Idk man Iguess we saw a different show

Hes actually singing and made the song different from the original, this creates a uniqueness that is worth paying for. Ive been watching playboi carti concerts and he doesn’t even rap the lyrics the song just plays in the back while he screams. Whats the point of paying for that? He should just remember his lyrics and perform no song in the back, have his band do the beats and rap with no voice audio in the background

@@hilmynovandi bro i f’ck with carti but I was watching his concert and was just thinking how dope it would be if he turned off his vocals and just performed the songs himself but his guitarist and other band members kind of mixed the beat up (kinda of like how they already do because they are using live instruments). It would also be dope if carti himself knew how to play the guitar. That would elevate his concerts to tenfold

@@sanguine25521:19 1:28 1:54 I hate to do it to em but I play this on guitar so I know exactly which chords he’s having trouble with, he’s only hitting 1 or 2 notes instead of the 3-5 it should be because he’s not barring the chord correctly, so you hear a lot of dead strings. But they weren’t sour notes, just not the full chord, so it’s easy to miss if you aren’t checking for it

one day we'll all really understand why this performance went the way it did, but i know frank had his reasons. when has he not been about the art first?
Exactly. This is true art in the sense it doesn’t conform to the conventional. People wanted all the hits and high energy because that’s what most other artists give. Frank has never been about any of that, he’s always been about the purity of the art. To him it’s an outlet or expression which is why he only releases albums when he has something to say.
I think too many fans of musicians believe they’re owed something by the artist which is a really selfish mindset to have. Buying a ticket to see somebody live doesn’t mean you deserve to hear certain songs.
This performance is really an experience in its entirety. It’s very low key and a moment in time. It’s not something for people to film and post on their socials to brag. This really hits when you just sit in the moment with it, no distractions
