Hi, Ronald... thank you for looking in on the build, and your comments. It's a well produced kit and not overly difficult to build, and certainly a more unusual subject. Please you like the finished model... ;-).
Hi... yes, thanks, a good break and back to the workbench. Thanks very much for your comments... very kind of you and much appreciated... ;-). Regards, Paul
Another fine build, sir. When I was a boy in the 1960s, a relative gave me two bound volumes of aircraft recognition magazines which were issued to HM forces during the war. Among the usual Spitfires, Mustangs and Lancasters etc my imagination was captured by German exotica like the BV 141, Dornier flying boats and more. You seem to be doing a wonderful job of building them all now so maybe that BV 138 is not so far away!
Hi, John... thanks for your comments. You reminded me of the three volumes of Jane's 'Aircraft of the Fighting Powers' that my dad had when I was a boy. In addition to US and RAF aircraft, they had small sections of German, Italian and Japanese aircraft as well... I remember volumes 1, 2 & 4, but volume 3 must've escaped! Anyway, who knows what might be along next, perhaps in time for Christmas. Hmm, I wonder... ? ;-)
beautiful Paul !!!!! love my German stuff as you know or may not , currently building a Meteor F8 Airfix 1/48 for an elderly gentleman as a suprise as he was former R.A.F at Acklington and remembers them well , then I have a Classics Airframes DO17 to do , really looking forward to that one !!!! ....take care and happy modelling... Shaun.
Hi, Shaun... thanks very much for the comments. It's not the most attractive aircraft, but it's certainly an unusual subject and the colour scheme is a bit different from the norm. I'm sure your former RAF friend will be chuffed with your handiwork and kindness when you present him with the finished Meteor. Good luck on the Do17 as well... catch you again in due course ;-). Regards, Paul
Hi, Scott... thanks very much for your comment. I looked in on your article about rigging WW1 aircraft and saw your WnW Fokker Eindecker. It came up looking very good. I know how difficult it is to do rigging, but I think we all tend to find our own best way to accomplish it. Best wishes, Paul.
Looks like a good-fitting kit. And quite a quirky-looking aircraft. 😍

Ah, Julian... you're way too kind, but thanks very much indeed... :-).

Very nice
Thank you, John... much appreciated ;-).
Странная техника покраски. Сначала красить кистью, а потом аэрографом. Первый раз такое вижу.
