- TODAY I WAS RECOGNIZED BY THE SENATE OF THE PHILIPPINES... I DID NOT EXPECT THIS MOMENT TO HAPPEN. IT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST MOMENTS OF INSPIRATION IN MY LIFE.
I was invited by Senator Migz Zubiri to find out that he will be authoring my Senate Bill for Citizenship. During Session, house majority leader Senator Joel Villanueva made an announcement recognizing me in the chamber.
It is hard to explain the feeling of having many Senators come up to me and say:
“Thank You”
And expressing they will be supporting the bill that could grant me Filipino citizenship.
There are so many things I could say right now. And that I need to reflect on and properly write about! But… I have to prepare for an international talk I will be giving in Thailand this week to travel bloggers and content creators from around the world. I have to focus!
Priority is, and will always be sharing positive education and inspiration about the Philippines around the world. 💪😊🇵🇭

It seems that the idea for Kulas to become a Filipino was from a Filipino congresswoman in the Tagalog region who recognised Kulas for his efforts to spread positive vibes among Filipinos and his generosity towards those victims of natural calamities like typhoon. She filed the bill in favour of Kulas in congress.

I'm a follower of Kulas for his positive vibes, Kumander Daot for showcasing and helping the indigenous Filipinos in some of his vlogs, Finnsnow for showing the beauty of our Coral reefs and protecting it by removing debris and wastes in the ocean floors and with his friend Chris and girlfriend Sherlyn they help to build artificial reefs for the corals to grow, and last but not the least Bret Maverick for love of animals especially dogs. Their hearts and minds are more Filipinos than most of us.

In Tagalog, it just means short, as in a short person, or the chair has pandak legs, etc. I guess I know what NOT to say in some provinces lol! My family used to live in Davao and have relatives there, but we moved abroad and in Makati, so I really never got to explore Mindanao.
