Just nailing them works fine until moisture or humidity causes them to warp and then without the glue any boards that started or stopped other than on a stud Can warp. Not a huge problem when I’m in a closet.
@@temptedadverse sorry, I missed the nailing to studs as I usually install this to a ‘drywall’ surface. The joints that fall between studs is where glue helps. If you’re cutting so the joints fall on a stud then they can’t warp.
Question - Is it possible to buy a kit like this and turn the planks into a wood top I can put on top of my washer and dryer? Like a table top for lack of a better term.
Most independent hardware stores and or lumberyards should be able to order it for you. If not you can call Gilberts hardware and we will ship it to you.
Great Job Brother!

@@BlairGilbert-x6i The glue would keep them from warping?

Sure if you have carpenter skills to tie them together. Also cedar is a soft wood, not my first choice for a work surface.
Thanks Blair can you please tell me where I can buy this product? Keep up the great work
