My 2 other younger brothers would probably pick a mixture of the fighters we chose, and compared to their big brothers, would sometimes win or lose. Unless, however, Skullo was on the cards. Facing that combatant, in both EX and EX2, his hit-and-run tactics would often end up in me biting the tarmac.

Not only does this sound very stupid and forced it also doesn't make any real sense. It should have just been "Sometimes they'd win or lose" (take note of the lack of try hard pseudo intellectual bullshit in that sentence). "Unless, however, Skullo was on the cards. Facing that combatant, in both EX and EX2, his hit-and-run tactics would often end up in me biting the tarmac." This is autistic to say the least. no one speaks like that. It is quite clear you were trying to look smart and in the process "bit the tarmac".
Perhaps I should've cleared the air a bit. I have 3 younger brothers, and several years back, all four of us would take turns to beat each other at this game. Each of us had varying levels of skill, but me and my 1st younger brother had a little more experience with the game, (hence why I said that "sometimes they'd win or lose" part about my last two brothers) but whenever Skullo came up, it would often mean a Skull Catch (along with a lot of hit-and-run tactics) was on the cards, and that messed things up a fair bit. Not to say that there weren't any unexpected upsets with other characters, once in a while. I'm surprised that you bothered to comment, honestly. I was merely reminiscing about the past, and you took offence to it. Perhaps it was the way I wrote it, but it's only about memories gone by, back when we were all living in the same house. We've all grown up and gone our separate ways now, although we still keep in touch from time to time. Once in a while, memories like this come up, and we laugh a bit about them. Just saying. :)

Ah, mr. Shenlong love your quality. Appreciate someone picking up some of the lesser known fighting game titles. Gundam Battle Assault was one of my favorite games as a kid, to bad Sunrise doesn't seem to care too much about it these days. Bandai/Namco needs to revive that series.
I'm glad that Gundam fighting games continued to exist, but Battle Assault was really fun and simple enough for a lot of people to just pick up and play.
