- In this long video, I tell the epic three day tale of my recent guided Musky trip on Pymatuning Lake in Pennsylvania with the Banging Bottom Outfitters crew. What an awesome three days on the water that ended with multiple fish and two true Pymatuning giants. I love telling the story and really trying to highlight Doug and the boys as they work really hard to get you on fish. Nice video bro. I live about 15 minutes from Pymatuning lake and have a camper at Bayshore campground on the Ohio side. A buddy of mines grandfather was the president of the husky muskie club and that was their home lake. He's got several over the 50 inch mark over the years. I'm pretty sure that 2nd one that got you were just out from my campground on the ohio side of the lake.

Been casting for Muskies at the southern end of pymi all summer. A ton of follows but no bites! Got to love it tho!
Bad ass video bro. How deep were you guys setting your baits back? Did you guys launch at duck and drakes or snodgrass?
When I used to go visit my cousin we would fish Indian lake had great times. I'm older and I really only hunt ducks and geese on pymutuning hoping to do some fishing on this lake. I personally would rather use my own gear and cast but just my preference. Good luck on your goal. Love the small mouth bite on many PA. Rivers.
I know that exact spot were you caught the final fish. I grew up directly across from the spot on the PA side. I witnessed a neighbor catch a 52 inch and 54 inch in one weekend. That spot is awesome in the spring for walleyes as well.

Get your rod tip up! I know you don’t want them to jump but… get some pressure on them! I’m part of the losing fish party! I lost 3 in a row at the net this summer
it was killing me to watch that...I don't fish for musky maybe there is a reason his rod was straight...out of the 100's of different types of fish I have caught in all cases we keep the rod tip up unless the fish jumps then you hold it down or out.
@DrewHolmes there wasn’t a good reason , I wasn’t holding pressure on the fish. You live and learn , my catch rate has gone way up with that rod tip up. It’s good to pickup on mistakes like so others can learn , thanks for your comment I appreciate ya!

They were using the kicker motor which is the smaller of the two motors
Conneuat doesn’t deserve the PA state record for musky anymore. I guess I’m just not a fan of “party lakes”
