The mod is available here: www.nexusmods.com/kingdomhearts3/mods/1471/ Instead of making an even harder version of data fight. This time I try making a Data version of a non-Data one. Anti-Aqua was a fine story boss, she got bogged down by low HP and Zodiac Aqua problem on a bit smaller scale (Attack too fast to react due to animation are build for player character first, not a boss). an AI structure is quite different compared to Data bosses, it's more restrictive in some aspects, but some of the foundations allow me to add a lot more complex attack patterns.
I had a feeling that what you modified was gonna be harder but I was not expecting her to be this fast when performing attack after attack, the part where she attacks during her blizzard move, the blizzard projectiles when she does the spinning finisher, and the new attacks you added. Did she just use a unblockable thrust like in 0.2, I was hoping someone was gonna add that move. And did she just use barrier? I kinda wished that she used darkness versions of her magic attacks like the Blizzard and light projectiles she shoots. Also why didn't you use the combo modifiers? I was like "Whoa she's way too fast", I was expecting her to be slightly faster but not by this much. I get why you made her that fast because people complain about the game being too easy unless you do Critical Mode. Will you be able to make more harder versions of the bosses, especially since the main story bosses' AI structure is different than the Data bosses? You think it's possible to mod the Organization 13 Keyblade Graveyard Bosses so they can use some of their Data version attacks (or all of them combined with their Keyblade Graveyard attacks, just almost rarely use their Data version attacks)?
Anti Aqua really deserves to be a challenging fight. I just wish that Anti-Aqua in Remind is much harder than the main story's Anti-Aqua fight. Instead of a copy-paste fight
This is pretty dope. High-key wish there was a second part of Limit Cut where we fought "the data of those connected to Sora's heart" aka the Data versions of the Guardians of Light
Unfortunately, 20 data fights + 1 superboss would have been too much for the DLC. It’s already ridiculous that this game added 14 bosses into one DLC. No FromSoft DLC even comes close to this boss count. Though fighting the 7 fragments of light in the future would be extremely dope.
This could've been in the Re:Mind DLC or on Critical mode I mean, she's been in there for more than a decade, she could've gotten the lingering will type of fight
The problem with the Re:mind DLC is that it is a story dlc so having a challenge Boss in there would be straying a bit too far from the original KH formula.
@@Stachelbeeerchen Agreed, if it were like the lingering will it would've take alot of people way longer to actually finish the dlc story. I'd understand if it were afterwards like data fights though.
Oh this is incredible. I wish the main fight was more like this like a lot of us. If Skol and a Giant tree heartless had this much HP I would have IMAGINED that the big dark aqua fight woulda been similar in HP. Especially since she's spent 10 years in the dark powering up. Also, the moveset here is just incredible. Especially with the ice she summons in the sky and the trickier timing with blocking those and her attacks 💢
This looks absolutely amazing! I really hope you are able to give Vader the same treatment when we eventually get him as a boss in KH4. I'm sure he'll be pretty tame since he's going to be a story boss (especially being from a disney world), so having a modded fight like this for him could give us a bossfight truly worthy of Vader.
@@Stachelbeeerchen ?? Not at all. I don't even want Star Wars to be in KH and i really hope Marvel doesn't follow. The fact is simply that they heavily teased SW in the very first KH4 trailer, so it stands to reason that Vader will probably be a bossfight. I will be slightly disappointed if we get the world without his bossfight tho, just like we got Toybox, but no Zurg fight.
@@Stachelbeeerchen Then it'll be a big shame and i really hope they don't go that route (especially not being a fan of the sequel trilogy in general), but since the footage of the supposed SW world in KH4's trailer seems to a 1:1 to Endor which was featured in episode VI, i strongly believe they're going with the original trilogy. If they end up doing sequel trilogy tho, it's not gonna be the end of the world, i mean we got Arendelle in KH3, so how much worse could it be, really?
I’m glad that you did her justice. This fight should have been more challenging than what it was in the base game. Aqua is a keyblade master corrupted by darkness. If anything this displays her powers despite her being in a vulnerable, fragmented state. Trueblade Seeker your a serious G 🫡.
Some people out there being delusional. Square would never include a super boss as a normal story fight. People wishing for this to be the actual story fight probably don't like casual gamers to also have fun in their games
I'd really like to see a sort of Lingering Will Data-Boss even more powerful than the monster we had to fight in KH2! I think he might force players to shed a lot of tears!! XD
I love the look of this, but just going off appearances, doesn't she seem like she has very few openings? I see a lot with difficulty-increasing boss mods that they make their patterns really relentless to pile on the difficulty, but for me the detail that made the Re:Mind fights shine was how many hidden openings they had and how much you could force your way through their patterns once you learned them properly. Would you say that's something you kept in mind here?
Very interesting, wonder if it's possible to also do the same for the keyblade graveyard fights (I know Data orgs are already their upgrade, just wondering if it's possible to make the KG fights harder but not to the extend of the Data fights.
While some could say this could be harder. This actually the battle we should have gotten in the kh3 base game. Perfect difficulty for that point in the game.well done.
It’s impressive what you’ve been able to do with this mod. But I wish this fight would incorporate a broader skill set. Don’t get me wrong, there is definitely skill involved, but like most data fights it’s mainly blocking. For me data Xion is the worst offender of this, the fight is basically just a scripted block fest/rhythm game. I’d like to see more bosses like dark Riku that force you to move, jump, double fly, air slide, air step and most importantly turn the camera. I don’t know if it’s feasible, but it would be great if the modded Anti Aqua became such a boss.
I have no skill with modding anything outside character animation and boss AI, so this will just replace base game anti-aqua, I will recommend using collisum mod to fight her late game.
I daresay this is better than Zodiac Aqua herself. That said, would it be possible to create a Boss Aqua that was essentially Playable Aqua? I'm not asking you to do it, but if it's even possible. The chief issues would be getting the AI to figure out how to get into melee with an aerial target, as well as balancing the defensive maneuvers that are cartwheel and barrier.

Now this absolutely fighting with Phantom Aqua but at Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind
I legit can't wait for the fight to be moved to the GoA arena, that way it'll look like a true data fight!
