how did you even come up with
gaming on a ink printer screen lmao 😂
Let's goooooo
Thanks Jon
HOW 16H AGO-
No Linux version :'(
480x272 screen, optical media drive, close enough. Welcome back PSP.
We love the psp
And you forgot the memory stick
3
That screen resolution + size + crazy ghosting = 100% PSP screen.
oh no you said "optical media" I'm scared
in 30 years people will think that screens on AIOs were supposed to play movies
no one is stopping me
my Asus A6410 played better GTA 5 than playing 1080p movie XD, so yes, AiO's weren't meant to play movies ( Asus A6410 with I3-4160T, 8 GB ram, 500 GB HDD and god like 1080p screen with oc to 76 HZ )
Bringus gaming on aio screen when?
@Satoshike I think they're talking about water cooler screens not those AIOs
@gokumexicano3844oh, that's make sense
Back then the red ports had power even when the system was off so you could supply it to other devices and make a theater setup easier
W explanation finding an answer on this was difficult
Gives a hint why that fan was still spinning
Red was also 3.0 on msi boards back in the day. Black was 2.0 and blue was 3.1.
And that's an asus board so this is all wrong anyway.
There are a lot of boards that still have this, but it's now an option in uefi for most. For eg, my board is from 2024 but still provides power through select ports when enabled, I use to charge controllers etc
eh not really, it was very inconsistent between motherboard vendors
The fact that the crew at Marvel Rivals watched your content for a sponsorship.. they must have known their game would be played on a cursed setup like this.
A+ marketing department.
I've honestly never been more compelled to check it out
More likely they asked him what he'd be using specifically and there wasn't any question.
im honestly impressed that they made rivals able to run at 100+ fps on that little shitbox honestly, even with a 1060 thats great optimization in that game
And it works because I wouldn't have watched it if it was a regular ad. This way, it was actually interesting.
@Delcaster102 the optimization is terrible in that game, the reason it did so well is because the resolution was very low
"big boy with a 3 incher" thanks for naming the computer after me
Same
Mines 6 😂@Nikofoxreal
Based @alanfresh652
lol
There's a solid chance you can drop in one of those IPS PSP displays.
Yes I think so, because that must be screen from the PSP (size, crazy ghosting and resolution is the same as in PSP)
There's a video idea for him! lol
Now I want a follow up video :'D
Legit the most entertaining modding/tech channel on youtube right now.
كل البستاوية نفس الذوق
Edit : this means, pisty and his followers share the same interests
@Tomato_League yes, but like with pasta, its about the vibe.
For example, on a date youll find spaghetti, but for lunch and in salads youll find penne. To translate this to youtubers:
Bringusstudios vibes are "silly, messing around and see whatever works", while a different youtuber may be a whole lot more serious about it.
At the end of the day, modding is modding but its all about the vibes.
@Tomato_League what
100%. I get super excited for every upload.
@Tomato_Leaguewtf….
Just finished a different bringus video, went to the home page, and I am blessed with another one!
Literally same
same
the best miracle.
Same
Fewer people have been as blessed as you
19:38 I love those "cats with half-life sound effects" videos
15:12 HE PREDICTED RAMAGEDDON
WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED!!!!
😭😭😭
I don't know what's more surprising. That the game played so well on this setup, or that YOU played so well on this setup. Certified hardcore gamer moment
its not really surprising that it ran well, as the resolution was very low. only 60 fps in the menu on 1080p, lower the resolution and it always gets much better
If I hear "setup" or "system" one more time as a word for "computer" this will be my last comment.
Dubbing the cat with Half life 1 voice lines was great.
It just baffles me to think 15 years ago is 2010, when I read the title I thought it was a screen from '02 or '03
Same. As an elder millenial, my brain has barely managed to upgrade my idea of '15 years ago' to 'yeah, 2002, crazy how time flies', as opposed to 'ha ha ha 1998'.
same i remember the 2500k being a great chip.
I feel ya. 27yo here and time loses meaning in my head. I only feel pain.
I saw the video and for a hard 15 second was like "wait lcd screen in 2003, and that too that small
17:14 -- I may not be THE "Jared B" in question, but I will happily take credit. You're welcome!
7:21 This made me realize "gaming" starts with "g" and ends with "aiming", and that's pretty gamer
She bringus on my studios until I media optically
straight to jail
EXTREMELY LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER
NUH UH
I don’t know how to feel about this.
this feels like velcro on a wool sweater-
Professional gamers with professional setups like this are why I keep getting rocked in ranked.
It intercepts the power button because this thing had a remote! The front screen could control music playback and browse your library and some basic settings and you could power the entire thing on with said remote too.
That's actually insanely badass I should have hunted one down
@BringusStudiosyou might also hunt down a Framework 16 inch laptop sponsorship to see if you can get SteamOS installed on it? PLEASE?!
@BringusStudios it probably will work with any Windows Media Center style remote, of which there are plenty, regardless of brand they all send the same IR codes.
Last Played "December 10th 2024"
I'm glad that you are promoting this game that you clearly find so much enjoyment in
Listen it's better than a food service sponsor. Only slightly better, but still, better.
@plantain.1739And it is MUCH better than Better Help
RAID SHADOW LEGENDS
I love FNV. I've played hours upon hours of it. Also been like 2 months since I last played. It's called ADHD.
7:16 GOONING
YESSSSSSSSS
I've been gaming on the same squishy keyed keyboard that came with the family computer back on 2007. I will never retire it.
Same
Real pros never give up on the windows vista keyboard
I still have the Microsoft media keyboard my grandfather bought for his pc in 2003, never back down never give up
The 10-series GPUs are like fucking magic
I bought that 1060 new in 2016, insane investment
@BringusStudios I’m thinking of buying a 1060 at some point, I want to make videos like this
I was so sad when my 1070 decided to die 7 or 8 months ago. Heard a pop, smelled some smoke, and my PC shut down. After I pulled it out, there was a scorch mark near the power plug.
@ssgohan296 A few weeks ago I got a 1070 from friend that had water demage and had some corrosion. I cleaned it with isopropil alcohol and it works like a charm (even when I think there is one resistor missing) so I replaced my 1650 with it and I love it.
@ssgohan296 get it fixed so it can live on 🙏
24:10 never mind no problem 👍
I laughed so hard at this I got in trouble with my wife
480x360 is the resolution of a scratch project
11:01 my wireless earphones was so shocked at the resolution it disconnected.
Now the only thing this needs is that plastic screen magnifier thingy for phones so you can actually easily see it, AND it will look worse because it will look bigger and blurrier!
and less brighter too!
@DafterHindi Hell yeah!
@DafterHindi wait is that even possible, surely we're getting to the point of light levels of dark matter
13:50 You've created perpetual motion.
hell yeah, Bringus is finally seeing more of the potential of a true budget build, including the part of using whatever screen you can get for cheap
20:13 “I’m riding on top of him”

This is like the new “can we get to run doom on _______” trend
"Can we run marvel rivals on ______"
@tkts6672”okay guys today we’re gonna see if we can run marvel rivals on a smart screen toaster”
@tkts6672 WHAT THE HELL?!?! PEARTO?!?!
@kurosakichigo-sfq i am a pear
HATSUNE MIKU AND PEARTO?!
BRINGUS SteamOS 3 JUST RELEASED FOR DEVICES THAT ARENT THE STEAM DECK
bringus is basically dankpods, *the greatest technician who ever lived* and james channel mixed together in a lab
the whole camera shook when you dropped that ancient media player
this PC didn’t run games...
it survived them 💀
Someone did this with Raid Shadow Legends a while back, and they dropped his sponsorships the next day. Let's see if Rivals is based
royal pear ?
I dunno, this is kinda a smart marketing move. Shows that even some old junk over 10 year old PC lying around can still play the game so if someone was in doubt whether they should try the game on their old PC, it could get more people playing.
He really gave the game a positive mark, and I mean why not it's a fun game that runs on surprisingly potato computers
The devs are indeed based. They put the whole meme of Dracula owing Moon Knight money in the game.
I do kinda wonder if they actually wanted something like this to show improvement, since when Rivals first launched it ran like absolute cheeks no matter your hardware
The i5 2500k is a true goat tho, a real overclocking king. I had mine at @5ghz on a normal hyper212 aircooler for 10 years. A real beast of a chip!
Came here to say this. I was still running one in 2020, overclocked to buggery, on air. That machine was only replaced after I plugged in an old GTX980 and the psu exploded. 😅
currently running an I7 2600K paired to an RX570 , this might be it's last year because it can't run most modern games , Resident evil games and the latest final fantasy along with AC shadows can't be run by it
Damn, 5 GHz on a 2500K would give you i7-7700K levels of single-threaded performance, and i7-2700K levels of multi-threaded perf. That's nuts.
Ew no. Please use at LEAST 6th gen for DDR4.
@ThunderTheBlackShadowKitty mid
So glad I found your channel. Your humor never falters and the projects are always interesting 🙏
19:41 nice cat
1:05 PS/2 keyboards have saved my ass twice. 1st, a PC was boot looping fast enough the USB controller wasn't on so I could only get into BIOS with the PS/2.
2nd, with tweaking RAM the USB is normally the first thing to start freezing, but PS/2 works just fine
straight to the mfing cpu hence the gamer latency 🔥
@HANHITSI I daily-drove a PS/2 BTC 5100C for ~2yrs. The latency shit doesn't matter, I just liked the form factor. The biggest upgrade for 'latency' was getting a Hal-effect/magnetic switch keyboard, as having practically a hair trigger drops the perceived latency like crazy.
And you can get usb to ps2
I doubt that's the case anymore on modern boards, PS/2 will most likely be through some chain of conversion in the chipset
@resneptaclethe dicking around with ram was on a B550 mobo, so quite modern. Idk if any am5 boards have ps2 though.
Ty yt for the 2 month late notif
Back in the heyday of the home theater PC era, a lot of computers were coming out with screens on them that would hook directly into programs like Windows Media Center showing you the typical information you'd get from the screen of a DVD player so your place in the movie along with maybe a basic VU meter for sound
Requirements of classifying a gaming pc:
1) gaming ports
2) steam
3) gpu or (anything that can process a game)
4) more gaming stuff
3 is optional
@TheTankyCrowbar Knowing Bringus, that statement couldn't be more true.
i wonder is ps3 gaming pc
2 is also optional, if you are selective with your gaming marketplaces xD
@scorpi0n486we know ps4 is.
I think ps3 would be a bad time
11:18 You brought me back 20+ years with one sound.
I can't believe that these kinds of games are just a remix of TF2. Can't move past the best there is
This is, by far, the best way to sponsor naturally.
19:50 My life every single day!!!!
17:50 Now THAT is the most gamer of gamer leans!
Dude I watched this because I was bored and sad and could not stop giggling the entire time.
calling a firewire port an ipod port is hilarious, im stealing that
Silverstone is getting a lot of praise now ever since they're manufacturing Retro Chassis for Sleeper Builds.
Put together a sleeper build recently; was absolute hell finding a case with 5in bays for my camera card/tf card reader and Blu-ray drive. Would be nice to have a silverstone for my living room if they’re similar to how this one is.
As Linus Tech Tips once said, "if there is something that almost nobody would ever use, Silverstone probably makes it."
Mysterious arm petting cat 26:12
The wife of the bringus
silverstone really made and still makes all the finest and most handy pc cases ever
"ok first problem, nevermind no problem"🤣🤣🤣🤣 24:09
6:28 “Screw Gaming”
I was not expecting Hoot Wireless at 10:21
Hoot Wireless Hoot Wireless
This is the most gaming gaming computer thus far. The modern gaming per retro hardware ratios are off the charts!
Whenever i cook food this guy just posts the video perfectly now i have a fancy dinner
NO my phone fell the moment you opened it up, I guess it couldn’t handle the gray greatness
This is a great ad for the performance of this game. Assuming the original graphics card was era accurate, the rest of this computer is over 10 years old and after just replacing the graphics card, it runs perfectly playable, even while it was briefly attached to an actual usable monitor
Last time I played with my rx7600 and my 10400f the game would struggle to stay above 60 during fights, idk if they optimized the game this patch
@sefii05 After seeing how it ran on my Ryzen 5600G, I conclude 480x272 is the only way you could play Rivals on integrated graphics.
@ccricersReal
@sefii05they definitely patched it quite a bit during season 2 i think. I play it on a 1650 mobile and i could barely run the game at 720p with fsr at quality to get a stable 60fps around the time of season 1 ending. It also had a huge memory leak issue where it would just fill up the entire 16gigs and crash after a few matches.
Installed it yesterday and suddenly i can run it at 1080p on low with fsr at balanced at stable 60. No crashes too
I can confirm though the game runs way smoother and stays above 60fps+ at most times now
The gaming skill on display is incredible. Best gamer on the platform.
1394 is the IEEE standard for transfering data over that port.
the USB was probably for touch screen
@mikehensley78nope, it is for IR stiff to control media functions with a remote
“The big boy with the 3 incher” bro made a video about me
Gaming on a cable box
12:09 hi mom i'm on tv
lmao
Lmao. Lol
7:58 No its not 😭😭
i think the teeny screen is for *windows sideshow* - a windows vista only feature where you could have a second tiny display for info'n'stuffs
Silverstone cases:
When you want all your frames to be apocalypse ready.
He heralded the digivolution into a dirty Cherry man. 17:10
Yeah That's the Video I Wanted to see. When Is the Video on 2nd channel
Man I just love this guy's videos. No matter what the vids about I'm watching and I'm gonna have a great time doing it.
Beautiful, I find it funny how this video was the only one I watched where you did the least amount of work on screen to get the setup going. Keep up the great work.
I like that halls of science from portal 2 plays when hes confused
4:23 keep this moment away from 8 year olds
six sevennnn
That would be a MASSIVE mistake
The amount of 8-year-olds watching this is probably really LOW
huh
I love it when internal parts of my computer need a cable that goes outside to plug back in, or has a USB plug for an internal device instead of an internal header plug. Screams quality.
vga cable going outside actually makes sense, gpus (usually) dont come with a video port on inside and there are no integrated graphics
11:46 it says "rtx 1060" 😭😭🙏
Gaming on Mephone 4
@cestlavandeeinanimate insanity.
The hidden rtx gpu
noticing that made me realize how old the rtx nomenclature really is, that we get people who don't remember gtx at all
@gejamugamlatsoomanam7716ah yes, the chinese version of rtx 2050
red ones are supposed to be for charging with higher current rating, gigabyte and asrock also had red ports designed for gaming, which claimed lower latency, less electrical noise etc. i think the plus ones are power
3:25 FINALLY Somebody makes that joke!!!!!!
20:45 this is cool af
how dare youtube hide this from me for 4 minutes
I got this hiden for 1 hour your lucky
Not only do I stull use the keyboard shown at 1:14, but I have another two still in their original packaging because I like them so much.
U putted a u on the still
@NcartCarts🤓 👆
@NcartCartsu putted a grammar in there somewhere
Thx@snjert8406
Same! They're the keyboards that I used back in school. Some of earliest memories of computers are using some Dell whatevers with those exact boards in front of them in computer lab back in elementary school. I found one in a Goodwill not too long after I built my current computer and immediately had to have it. Three bucks to play games on the school keyboard is a wonderful feeling, even if it's not my usual board.
13:35 MOMENTUM !!!
Mum can we get a computer "no we have one at home"
The computer:
I have a TV with VGA, that I found in my aunt’s basement. When I turned it on it was set to 1999
I'm currently using a monitor from 16 years ago and it's better than most modern reasonably priced monitors. It's not 2010 anymore , you probably mean 30-40 years ago
This my good sir, is quality gaming content.👌
It speaks well of the devs that a 15 year old CPU coupled with a similar vintage GPU with half the recommended RAM can run this game at all!
my brother in christ it was rendering at 272p on minimum settings and he put a 1060 in it
the fact that this runs better than my pc is diabolical
Imagine decking out your setup and dying to a guy playing on a 480x272 screen
26:00 yo is there a Mrs Bringus?!
😮it’s possible!
@Ryaniscryin2011 they are now married
3:16 Finnaly,she's back. ". *RAM* "

4:54 that is most likely touchscreen
1:22 evil usb
Came for the Bringus stayed for the cameo from the Director who wanted his chair back
USB + just usually means usb 2.0. Your welcome 3 people who were wondering.
Well more accurately it means USB 2.0 High Speed. Technically 1.5 and 12 megabit devices can still be classified as 2.0.
Me: I need to handle computer components with extreme care, like a surgeon carrying a heart ready for transplant, don't wanna break anything
Bringus: *just drops the GPU directly onto the motherboard with zero care (**4:19**)*
My brother in christ, that's just an ATX box where someone slapped a small LCD screen on the front panel
It's clearly a gaming case bro, it has a gaming monitor on it.
@cococo4545 Fair enough brother
im literally installing bazzite while watching this
"They get used less often than your grandma" gave me RCR vibes lmaoo
