      Good move. The Huben is made so it doesn't block the sights and does a great job keeping it quiet💥💥💥

    This SPL meter is obviously measuring too high. Not good quality and cannot be trusted.
    When you measure airgun sound pressure levels with these types of meters your result should always be the highest number because of the way they work. So based on your data the Huben moderator was the best of the three. Thanks. I should sell all my airguns and buy the Huben... Best PCP on the market! 👍

    Should only run .253’s and 254’s in these hubens for best results.i know you are just checking DB but i thought i would throw that out there..I’ll be doing a slug comparison video with the GK-1 .25 when the weather clears up here.

    Hey quick question... whats the best hollow point slug to use for the .25 GK1? Like which slug will lead to the best Foot Pounds of Energy?

    • @thellc24-7
      @thellc24-7  Год назад +2

      Not sure about the fpe(I'll have to research that) but I found some affordable slugs that work well. Rifle Series slugs do nicely. Still testing💥💥💥

      I purchased avs slugs in .254 flat based 42 grain, it's a good hollow point round for defense, and was told by another video that .254 cal slugs are the correct caliber so it doesn't jam.
      Also there is clearly a sound difference between having the silencer on and off the gun...so I'm thinking maybe the sound testing device isn't suited for this type of test if it's all coming out the same. I'm curious if you can find a way to borrow a more sophisticated sound testing device from someone since there is clearly more of a difference than it's picking up on. Just an idea. Good video. Continue to make more videos on this Airgun. Thanks!

      Altaros 50gr will get you in the 80-83fpe range cranked up to max.Avs .254’s flat base in 44gr will also get you in the high 70’s.haven’t tried the NSA .254’s yet but could be good

    How can they be that loud, I thought stock GK1 is 110 Decibel and with a suppressor it should be in the nineties.

    • @jimdshea
      @jimdshea Месяц назад +2

      I get near 120 indoors, and 90's with a donny fl. It is an absurd difference... I don't understand these results??

    I own so many damn moderators, and so far nothing beats the shadow due to size and weight. I put my emporer on and it’s quieter by a fraction. The stock shadow is all I’ll ever run on the gun. I own all the donnyfl best being sumo for all guns. Get a shadow

    Anyone have any issues with the Gk Suppressor and poi shifts? 20 yards its all over the place .. 25 cal GK1. I don’t notice any clipping ? Dead nuts accurate with any other suppressor.

    You got me 🤷🏽‍♂️ I thought it was going good until the no suppressor test. Maybe they are not actual muting the volume but more just attenuating or modifying the signature like removing the harshness??? Just a stab in the dark really as i got no real world experience.
    There was a 2-3 db decrease with the Huben so thats something and i know to the ear all 3 sounded quieter.

    Nice attempt at getting some objective numbers. But clearly, you need to learn how to use the meter properly. Does you meter have a prepolarized pressure microphone for measuring muzzle blast? Your figures really don't make much sense. Thanks anyway for the attempt.
