I'm loving UNLV winning football games. It's been a long time coming but I think they finally got things figured out to have consistent success. Go Rebels!
Spent a few days in Vegas this past summer , the local support is visible which is not something I ever noticed in previous trips , coupled with the Raiders it’s a no brainer really , one more entertaining draw to the city
I remember watching highlights of Sluka at Holy Cross during the Spring Season post-Pandemic The guy could run, but he also had a decent arm. I wonder if he could be this year's Cam Ward. Glad to see he's stepped up his game and is in a Program on the rise...
I absolutely LOVE what’s going on with UNLV football right now!! This city, and really the school, has needed this program to step up and become a winner, and at long last, it’s finally happening!! Allegiant Stadium will be PACKED if the Rebels keep this up, and it’s gonna make for an awesome game day experience for this city to take part in!
UNLV has the potential to be a successful program. They are in Las Vegas and that in and of itself is beneficial, they updated thir facilities magnificently, they're close to AZ, and CA, and can use the City of Las Vegas as a recruiting tool. They have the ability to be a sleeping giant, with it having games on Saturday, and on Non UFC weekends, people on the strip will need something to do. With all of the factors that I named, they have the potential to be a dominant college football power, just look at what UNLV's Basketball program did in the early 1990s. A successful football program will metastasize to the rest of UNLV and Vegas as a whole.
In this day of NIL and Big Money, I wouldn't be surprised to see UNLV become a power in football, just as they were in basketball back in the days of Jerry Tarkanian.
@@johnnyseed9257 They got a brand new Stadium and are located in Las Vegas. They got plenty of NIL incentives and are 4 hours from Southern California's rich recruiting grounds.
Ive neen going to unlv games since the 90s (my dad played on the squad that went 11-2 (thought they went 12-1 with their only loss being to LBSU but the video says different) my poor dad would say every year they're gonna win 8 games or something around those lines and year in year out they would win 4 or less. No matter how things end up going this year or next I couldn't be happier.
Lets see. Located in Las Vegas, play in a 2+ billion brand new Stadium, 4 hours away from rich southern California Recruiting grounds and a stones throw away from Arizona's. UNLV has more than Boise State has so I definitely can see them being a really good football program in the future.
UNLV football has a chance to be “special.” That will depend on the administration being progressive and aggressive in ensuring the program is moving forward.
How are the Rebeles going to finish The year since the quarterback has left.Because of empty promises I hope the team finishes Strong. No matter what go rebels Las vegas all day.
If the program keeps winning…Just understand that UNLV can’t compete financially with the Goliaths…Jayden Maiava getting poached by USC is a prime example ✌🏿When Head Coach leaves for a bigger program (and he will💰) the whole coaching staff is going with him💔
yeah unlv haters always come w that tired narrative. if UNLV establishes a winning culture in their football program, they wont have to worry about any other school. Tark built the basketball program when there was 400k in the city proper. also, Odom has already signed a 5 year extension this off season so he seems to like it here
Big Money would love to have a top-notch College Football team in Las Vegas playing the big boys and competing for Natties. I don't think it's as far-fetched as people think.
Shoutout UNLV for putting on for the G5 schools this past weekend
I'm on UNLV hype train while everyone else is on the Colorado hype train.
Nobody hyping them besides espn
Yes Sir 👏 LG 💪

UNLV becoming a good football program was not something I expected.
As a die hard unlv fan I’m so happy we are finally winning we truly went through hell and back lol
Just dropped 70+ yesterday and are facing a reeling Kansas squad next week. 3-0 wouldn’t be surprising.
Glad you did a video on UNLV football

Just like they supported the Basketball team in the 80s and 90s.
Love Barry Odom! Hated seeing him leave Arkansas, but will forever be grateful for what he did here. Hope his success continues...Go Rebels!!! #wps
👏👏

They have potential and the basketball team proved it.
I’m surprised it hasn’t happened sooner considering the location plus playing in the same stadium as the raiders and nil they should be a powerhouse
I predict in 5 years they will join a Power Conference and play against top competition.
@@edlawn5481 with the news of pac-12 getting 4 new teams and looking for 2 more looks likely
Add them to the big 12 asap

UNLV getting ranked in the coachs poll for the first time in program history is an amazing feat.
yup, 3-0 baby! If anything UNLV should be prepared to put loads of money to coach Odom
It’s amazing what a good athletic director can do.
UNLV has been on the rise ever since they got rid of their DEI athletic director.
Go Rebels!
Went to UNLV , can’t tell you how excited I am about this team. The amount of power 5 transfers we have is actually crazy!
Being from UNLV . This makes my heart warm

Aged like milk
UNLV will never be a power in football

Matthew Sluka is a dawg!
One of the Michigan MAC schools soon?

LFG UNLV!!!
Not anymore. Maybe pay your players what you promise. UNLV loses the next game, watch.

Yeah yeah those rebels cost me 500$ loosing to Syracuse in such a fashion. This team is ALL CAP
