Ruki only confirmed that the song takes up the motif of a gruesome incident from the past. It was something he and Reita saw online, and which really overwhelmed them. It’s a beautiful song with a deep meaning.. As always are the songs of The Gazette .. I can't understand what's the matter with people who proclaim “IS NOT ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA”, “STOP SAYING THAT IS ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA” What anger them so much?!….If The Gazette made this song inspired on her history, partially, or if they didn't, we really don't know. And it doesn't really matter. If people want to dedicate her this song.. What's the problem with that?!! It's a good way to kept alive her memory and the lyrics couldn't describe better the feelings of a person who went through unbearable pain and desperation as Junko did. I still dedicate to her. Rest in peace💜
I will never understand the people who refuse to believe this ISN’T a tribute to her suffering and pain. Even before I saw this video or read the translation of the lyrics on Jpopasia, this song made me cry (and still does) because I could feel the pain! Whether it actually was a tribute to Furuta Junko , or ANY OTHER WOMAN WHO WAS RAPED, TORTURED &MURDERED.., this is still powerful and respectful of the victims pain.
I agree, they never confirmed it and Junko's horrible story is one of the many cases of women tortured and murdered in the world but I think of her when I listen to this song in both versions. In the japanese version it says "冬尽く春を思う" wich means "I think of spring when winter it's exhausting", Junko was kidnapped in november and died in the middle of winter so in a way the lyrics remind me of this case even if it's not about her specifically
Thing is we'll never really know and people can chose to dedicate this song to whoever has gone through this whether they be male or female at the end of the day it covers all people who have unfortunately been tortured raped and murdered. I think it may be loosely based on Junko but that's just theory everyone each to their own.
I've listened to this song many times, never realizing it was about a murder. I read about the case and I am in tears. To die such a horrible death is imaginable and no one should ever experience that. Junko was a beautiful girl who could of lived a full life, but was instead given this degrading and disgusting way to live for 44 days. My prayers are with her family, even after 22 years. The song has brought awareness to this case. I hope that where ever she is right now, she is resting in peac

hello fellow sixth guns i would like to inform you of a thing: RUKI NEVER SAID THIS SONG IS ABOUT FURUTA JUNKO. the main inspiration for this song was from an article Ruki and Reita read of a murder kinda(??) similar to Junko's but probably not nearly as horrifying because there wasn't even a name. Junko's story could be part of it, which was originally a fan speculation but overseas fans see this as a fact. It has nothing to do with Ruki either...
Dear Pat, Nobody, yes,NOBODY deserves in his life to heppend something as bad as the Junko's fate.As a human begin we must stop that.As a human begin we must know what happend to one of us.Nobody can treat a girl like they threatened her.
omg I knew about Junko Furata way before I knew about The Gazette. I never thought a song would be based on her story - I'm glad it's got a form of tribute - she deserves it. What she went through was beyond the pain I could think of.
its only junko not ruki, ruki just feels deep sadness and hate over the injusticness that happened to junko, and because those guys didnt get that much time in prison, their is also a manga story about this

A wintry sky and the broken street light, cold wind.
Unknown shadow the footprint of desertion.
Freedom was taken.
If it wakes up, a gloomy ceiling.
A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum, it is soiled.
And violence rapes me.
An understanding is impossible.
Why was I chosen? Someone should answer...
I wish you'll somehow answer me, that it's all a horrible dream.
To what extent should I shout, writhe and suffer till it's alright?
Please, I wish you'll tell me it's all a horrible dream.
With voice that seemed broken, I cried out over and over again.
There is no hand preparing the disordered hair.
A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum, a faint temperature is
mixed in the midwinter.
Suppressing my voice and ordering my withered self to live on,
To not lose sight of the living.
Suppressing my voice, I'll remember the trembling night in pain
Forgive my uninterrupted breath...
I wish you'll somehow answer me, that it's all a horrible dream.
To what extent should I shout, writhe and suffer till it's alright?
Please, I wish you'll tell me it's all a horrible dream.

Amo esta canción

hello fellow sixth guns i would like to inform you of a thing: RUKI NEVER SAID THIS SONG IS ABOUT FURUTA JUNKO. the main inspiration for this song was from an article Ruki and Reita read of a murder kinda(??) similar to Junko's but probably not nearly as horrifying because there wasn't even a name. Junko's story could be part of it, which was originally a fan speculation but overseas fans see this as a fact. It has nothing to do with Ruki either...
Música linda!!!
Rest in peace Reita, you will always live in our hearts
I don't know if this song is about Junko or not,but I swear at 4:55 I hear him say"Furuuuta".Of course, maybe it's just my imagination, but still....
Yes furuta
Koe wo koroshite ****furueta**** yoru wa itami ni oboreteiku
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE RE-RECORD ON THE NEW TRACES CD. IT'S GONNA BE AMAZING **CRIES**
anyone read the lyrics because I have and it's sad as hell
+Mejibray Fuuto its a tribute song to junko furuta.... that's even sadder
yeap it is
+Cenas Bué Cenas it's actually not
Cenas Bué Cenas actually it wasn't confirmed that the song was for Junko Furuta
Mejibray Fuuto if not then what else could it be about?
I love this song
2024 still loving it 🤟🏻🖤➕
Dear Pat,
Nobody, yes,NOBODY deserves in his life to heppend something as bad as the Junko's fate.As a human begin we must stop that.As a human begin we must know what happend to one of us.Nobody can treat a girl like they threatened her.
This song is very gloomy and very good, Love the gazette it's my favorite band
Video does it to me every time... takes me about 5 minutes to take in the severity of it all... RIP Junko Furuta.
I just started listening to this group and I really like them
no se ustedes pero son los japoneses mas guapos que he visto
la verdad sip
lo que importa es su musica :v
shiii, y la sonrisa de Kai enamora con ganas
Para que decirte que no, si si.
vas a ver kyo de dir en grey ;)
I like how slurred the lead singer's voice sounds in the melody.
Lustened to this for so many years so glad
An understanding is impossibruuuuu!!
wow japan....
This song is about Junko Furuta ?
(RIP girl you really don’t deserve what happened to you hope you live and doing better and good also pray for you)
They didn’t confirm
this song is punching me in my stomache... Such a MASTERPIECE!
omg I knew about Junko Furata way before I knew about The Gazette. I never thought a song would be based on her story - I'm glad it's got a form of tribute - she deserves it. What she went through was beyond the pain I could think of.
its only junko not ruki, ruki just feels deep sadness and hate over the injusticness that happened to junko, and because those guys didnt get that much time in prison, their is also a manga story about this
Vim do Fatos desconhecidos!!! Que história medonha e desumana😓
all the growling at first gave a dark image but then suddenly a beautiful melody emerged and somehow it just made sense to me ...i could really fall in love with this song
Happy 12th Anniversary
You guys realize that the song isn't confirmed to be about Junko Furuta. It is just a theory.
Cool theory (sorry. Я плохо знаю английский)
Omg this is one of my favorite songs !
this will forever be my favourite gazettE song♥
IM OBSESSED WITH THE GAZETTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW.... in the beginning, my headphones electrocuted me. seriously!!!!
so sad :,(
Before i read what this song was actually about, i would listen to it and rock out to it everytime it came on....
but after i read about what it is about and the story of Junko Furuta.....
everytime this song comes on, i feel like crying and i feel kinda sick :'(
beautiful song with a really sad, depressing, and horrible story behind it....
R.I.P. Junko Furuta.....
we will always remember you
just cried after watching this... it is so sad that people would ever do such a horrible thing. this song and video is so deep. one of my favorites
Gazette means newspaper in my language :D
guys this song has nothing to do with junko ven the interview said it's nothing to do with it or else he would mention it,only the fans think that it's for junko cause of the lyrics ;o
RIP junko furota
