  • Got a nice 20 minutes in the other day but the gusts got annoying towards the end of my flight so I decided to head back. I saw the fun gap between the trees and had to go for it on my way to land. Got a bit of a gust on my way in and caught a little lift. Watching that wind sock like a hawk, I was luckily prepared for it and came in nice and smooth by flaring only after being picked up a bit. Unfortunately, the weather is going to suck for the next week out here but maybe it'll give me some extra time to finish my setup for this year. Hope you enjoy the flight!

Why did you pull the spark plug wire? Never saw anyone do that after a flight. I would think it would loosen up if you did that every time.

Just peace of mind for myself really, but you are right and I will keep that in mind. When I started I wasn’t as trusting that it wouldn’t start up on accident since I didn’t have a full understanding of how these worked. Now that I do I’m not as worried if I forget to pop it off. Definitely wasn’t thinking about it loosening over time. Appreciate the input!
