Peak Fall Color on the DM&IR 2024 [HD]

Another year, another fall trip to the DM&IR. It’s 2024 and it’s the last hoorah for the C40-8s as the new Dash 9 rebuilds have taken over the IDs on the Two Harbors side of the railroad. I was lucky enough to get at least one daylight chase of a pure trio out of Two Harbors on my four day trip. The fall color hung on for dear life on the Missabe side, being peak on Proctor Hill. Time will tell if this was our last fall for EMDs on the pellet trains but in any case, enjoy the sights and sounds!
