Hey P&M Fam, my goal for this video was to take an honest look at Joel and his preaching. Comment your thoughts below :) And yes, the Zoom audio made our voices a lil deeper😆 Shoutout to Melissa for collabing!
I agree with Melissa about J.O. 100%... I was a Jehovah's Witness for many years, once I came out of that cult I listened to J.O and Joyce Meyer's. The more I read the Bible in CONTEXT, the more I recognized false preaching and teachers. I am always amazed at people who "claim" to be a Christian but don't read the Bible and don't know scripture. Great video, awesome subject. Thank you. 🥰😍🤩🤩😍🥰 (I hit the subscribe button)
Every pastor is not for everybody. If you don't like a pastor then find another one. Pastors have to deal with tough theological issues such as do people who have not heard the Gospel go to Hell when they die? ruclips.net/video/drt5VPfnnms/видео.html Some pastors don't like talking about Hell. ruclips.net/video/iOfwmA5dgok/видео.html Since Roe V. Wade about 25% of pregnancies have ended in abortion in the U.S.. So, pastors must be savvy when answering the question; is abortion the murder of an unborn child? Our faith, money and Research & Development, is giving substance to healings, such as allowing an infertile couple to be fruitful and multiply. Lastly, General Collin Powell said optimism is a force multiplier.
2 years ago I would not be able to hear this conversation.Melissa made me so angry when I first started following Christ🤣 2 years later after walking into church and finally started studying my bible, and I finally get it! Thank you for doing what you do!
I've been a believer for 36 years, I'm a psychologist and been a missionary in Islamic countries for over a decade... I can't say I find Mellisa has a good grip on 'relationship' with Jesus. Belief and truth are highly important, but the Western church has followed the culture much more than they understand and the post reformation and post enlightenment culture absolutely in making apologetics, preaching and truth APART from relationship, community love and belonging utmost. The truth of the matter is, our character is changed in the right hemisphere of the brain, that's where we become more like Christ and all of the practices Melissa and others advocate are left brain actions, like more Bible study, more groups, more preaching to change people. Not that these things are not important, but we focus n this to the exclusion of the latter. We act instantly from our right hemisphere (which operates faster than conciousness) before our left hemisphere then processes the information and we put it through rational processes. That means that to change our character, we need to experience Jesus person to person and others mind to mind to change our actual character... Which is what Jesus is all about and why he spent so much time, in person with his followers.
@@KJ-lb4tj Is it possible that what post Enlightenment psychology calls the "right brain" is what the Bible calls the heart, deceitful above all things?
I love the part where Melissa brought up that things like drugs and alcohol can make you feel better in the moment. When it comes to speakers like Osteen, whether it's malicious or well intended, they ultimately teach a different gospel. They bank on people's desires for success and love but only give the neverending "your breakthrough is just around the corner". They give you that false hope which tends to just worsen their listeners anxiety and depression when things don't work out. I also love that you brought up balance of grace and truth. That's so important. One of my favorite moments in the gospels is when Jesus tells the pharasies they do well tithing (which they're supposed to do) but they forget "justice mercy and faithfulness".
@@weronikadabrowska5528 not necessarily. God still brings about incredible healing that doctors said weren't possible. So yes we can hope and pray for a miracle. However God works in mysterious ways. We don't know His will. So when things don't happen the way we want them to, we have to learn to accept that and have peace with it. (Easier said than done)
It seems to me that He saves us from our own folly here on earth as well as hell. I agree with you, though. Jesus’s sacrifice has to really MEAN something in relationship to our sin and death or why die at all? Why rise again? Why suffer spiritual separation from God as well as physical death? It doesn’t make sense unless sin has both temporal and eternal consequences.
First off Jesus said we would have trials and tribulation. But he's with us through them. I am liveing with chronic pain and lupus. And for years. But I'm thankful that through this he has brought me to a place that I would not have come to if I was well. I need him daily, hourly. And I love were I'm at with him!. Are days rough? Yes!. But I have peace and will serve him wether I'm healed or not!. He's my saviour and I love what he's doing in my life!.God bless you all!
Thank you for your testimony. I believe, its not easy. You help me, to carry my little backpack. May I pray for you for easier days and for this godly peace, that is beyond our wisdom? Shabat shalom
I was floored when I heard his wife say at the end of a meeting “you’re all here for you! We all know it, we’re all here for ourselves!!” The ME is so strong, I ALWAYS shy away from ME preaching. It ALWAYS pulls me from Christ. Every time. I am happy to keep myself dead in Christ, it brings nothing but peace and joy and so much more! Christ’s life in me! Not mine!
Saint John the Baptist told us about "me" being wrong. "He must increase, but I must decrease" The Gospel according to Saint John the Divine, Chapter 3 verse 30, King James Version. We, the "Me" must Decrease, so that Christ in us may Increase :)

My childhood friend moved away to Texas, she practices witchcraft and attends Joel’s church, so that definitely makes me think twice how someone who practices such things is comfortable in a church where the Holy Spirit is suppose to be and move within the church.
As a person I like Joel Osteen a lot. He comes across as a friendly, likeable guy. Unfortunately personality is not enough. If our message isn't balanced, and contains dangerous teaching we put many souls at risk and that's why the false or even unbalanced gospel is so serious. Still he needs our prayers. God can change anyone!
@@itsmebabyy7696 The gospel included repentance and repentance from what, hell. How is anyone gonna why, where they should repent from if you don't educate them on what hell is and how bad of a place it really is.
Yes i agree repentance is important. Also the hell and heaven mesaage is like the number one thing people know about christianity (even nonbelievers). Im still confused as to why joel should have sermons on hell. Gospel is the good news. We need God's kingdom on this earth, where should we get it if not in church?
This was a really balanced discussion, thank you. I was also in the New Age prior to getting saved 9 years ago. Joel Osteen was one of the first preachers I listened to as a new believer and I remember being open-mouthed, because what I heard was EXACTLY what I had just been delivered from in the New Age. The thing is, as you point out, there is a loose Biblical precedent for a lot of these teachings but with the essence (which is Christ), removed. E.g. the Bible does say in the Book of Proverbs "as a man thinks, in his heart so is he" and "the power of life and death is in the tongue". And Jesus said in Matthew 21:22 that "whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive". There are other similar Scriptures as well, but the point is, these Scriptures are to be taken in the context of a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. So as we go through the process of sanctification and become more familiar with the will of God through His word, then the things we pray for will be things that line up with His will, and as it says in 1 John 5, whatever we ask for in accordance with His will, we know we have. Joel Osteen and the like have omitted Christ from the equation and preach just the motivational stuff which is exactly what the New Age does. Satan is the biggest counterfeiter of all and the best counterfeit is to be as close to the original as possible. Melissa what you shared about the New Thought concept of sin being negative thinking and so repentance from this sin links you right in to Joel's teachings, was really insightful and useful. All in all, this was an excellent video. Balanced and respectful whilst uncompromising towards the Word. Well done guys!
I figured out who Joel Osteen was when I first came to Christ I liked his teachings until I figure it out they didn't line up with the Bible so I stopped listening to him
I’ve been a fan of Melissa’s channel for a while so this new friendship between P&M and Melissa is awesome!! It reminds me of how we’re literally one family in the Lord❤️
I agree with you that it’s no longer the gospel when you’re leaving out the hell part and only focusing on the good-feeling stuff. His dad, or grandfather, was a very anointed man. He truly lived and taught the gospel. The blessings on that family line is strong. I’m sure there are promises God is keeping for Joel and his family from the faith and prayers of his ancestors. We have to look at this, his platform etc. as a promise of God that we, the believers and followers, should respect even though he doesn’t teach the full gospel. Worse things happened in the Old Testament with the promises God made to someone for future generations of his family. We do not understand the mind of God. We just know that he keeps his promises. As you said Melissa, at least he’s leading some people out there to their first time in the Bible. From there, people go on and get deeper with God. If not right away, then usually later. At least he seeds people with their first seeds of Jesus.
I know this comment is a year old but I just had to say I absolutely agree! I first was introduced to Joel when I was in high school when I would beg my parents to take me to church and they would not. Well, late one night I saw Joel’s show and that was my first real introduction to Christianity. I was a fan of him for a long time, even downloading his podcast to listen to between college classes. After college when I got my own car and became more independent I found a wonderful church and bought my first bible and started down the path of getting saved. Now that I’m older, I realize there are issues within Joel’s teachings and I don’t listen to him anymore, but he was the person that introduced me to God and for that I will be forever thankful
I feel that Joel puts a positive light on Christianity. Is he your deep biblical scholar? No. But he does lift me when I need a bit of positive attitude. For a richer perspective I go to David Jeremiah or Charles Stanley.
I think Joel is a happy blessed person and his children serve the Lord and that's important to see and he does offer a way to get saved at the end , a way to accept Christ as Savior.
I was saved by Joel olsten last minute salvation call but I all ready knew the Ten Commandments and was already convicted. His message had nothing to do with it .
Lakewood's online Monday Night Bible Study goes much deeper into Scripture than his Sunday services. I have been listening to his sermons for years and have been greatly encouraged, which is his style of preaching. There are things I agree with in the discussion and other things I respectfully disagree with as well; however, one thing I feel maybe was misunderstood was Joel's opening, " This is my Bible, I am what it says I am and I can do what it says I can do... " and so on. This true because the Bible identifies who God is and who we are in Christ. Perhaps give a listen to their Monday Night Bible Study one day, I think it's something to consider. I do like what Paul said that Joel wants to leave the congregation with an expectant attitude because we need to be encouraged. Joel's sister Lisa Comes was unable to have children for years, but remained expectant and continued to honor the Lord in that difficult season and the Lord honored her obedience and brought her three children through adoption. She has spoken of her testimony in her sermons and I hope y'all could research the church more :) Interesting discussion y'all! Blessings Paul and Morgan
Thank you for not getting into questioning another's salvation. I know folks who do and it seems so unchristlike. I've watched them ghost people rather than have an honest conversation of concern at someone who may not know something they are listening to might be in unbiblical. Be patient and show them why over time. Lead by example. More people come asking me questions bc I refuse to judge them in the process of learning truth and coming to Christ.
I think Joel Osteen is so good for the population of the world that is depressed and feeling hopeless. He opens the door to Christ and covers them with love and positivity. I agree with Melissa though in that as a Christian matures in their relationship with Christ, they move on to other churches or influences as they need meat and no longer milk.
Let’s remember that Melissa and Doreen Virtue are brand new Christians. They have a lot of audacity to be out here telling people how to be a Christian. I don’t understand why they don’t have any self regulation.
They handled it very graciously. New Christian or not, people are entitled to speak up about it. This mentality of not questioning things is sad and unbiblical.
The good thing about Joel Osteen is that he is very good at introducing new souls to God. After that, some may dig deeper on their own and balance the message with the Bible. The bad thing about Joel Osteen is that for those that do not dig deeper, his message becomes too much material world oriented, then people are soured on God because He doesn't turn out to be the sugar daddy that they think He is.
This is how I feel about Joel Osteen’s Church...😥 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3)
Being a Christian is about God…honoring, obeying, trusting, and serving Him for His glory. It is not about us. He is a loving and gracious God and chooses to bless us according to His will sometimes, but the Bible states that we will suffer for His sake. If you’re not being persecuted for being a Christian, it’s time to consider whether or not you’re saved.
This video was awesome! I would be interested in seeing a video on bethel, elevation, and the weird stuff happening in the big churches like that. There’s a big debate on whether it’s sinful to listen to their music still, it’s super confusing.
Sorry when I was going through a really bad time in my life.... listening to Joel Osteen filled me, and his teachings saved me, his teachings changed my mind set and his teachings lifted me up he got me out of my funk and he had me open my mind for God to create life change for me. I Feel I did receive God's favor sorry, so I am definitely not comfortable calling Joel Osteen a false profit because it is 7 years later and those teaching whenever I am in a low place, I can think on Joel Osteen's teachings and remember God's grace for me. And most people think I am the most positive, encouraging, person that gives back that they know
The gaping omission by Joel Osteen is sin, repentance, and the Cross. Several years ago, I did a personal inquiry into his teachings because I wanted to be intellectually honest and spiritually appropriate in “judging” his content. I was completely willing to have my mind changed from the mostly negative view I had of his ministry. Instead, listening to 3-4 of his full sermons reinforced for me that he was not preaching the full Gospel. I didn’t hear him once mention sin, repentance, the Crucifixion (or need for Believers to crucify their flesh to identify fully with Christ), or even one word about reading/studying the Bible in order to BE transformed. Joel Osteen may have feel-good intentions but salvation is definitely not about “feeling” good. So this is not about how we “feel” about Osteen. It’s about what we see, hear, and think as it relates to the Word and our transformed minds.
Between his recent cash hidden in the walls scandal and the scandal where he refused to open the doors of his church after a hurricane, but then changed his mind only after he was very publicly criticized, I don’t think he’s anyone people should be following. He seems to have an issue with greed.
I started my journey with Joel osteen and it helped me get saved because it helped inspire me to keep searching for truth. I like how you all mentioned that you can still get saved and that you would still have a conversation with him. I pray for Joel
Joel was someone I enjoyed before I was Christian. I bought his books, and recommended him but once I was saved and born again I was able to discern his twisting of scripture! When a person knows the Bible in context they would know that repentance is a change of heart and NOT repentance of sin! Jesus already took care of your sin. You don't have to say a prayer to be saved, you just have to BELIEVE in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. That by FAITH alone is how you're saved. (Eph 2:8-9) I've only been a Christian for 6 years but I have time to study bc I'm in my 70's. I was in a religious cult for 63 years, that my mother joined when I was 8. PTL I was given the opportunity to see truth. The one and only gospel of Jesus Christ is found specifically in( 1Cor 15:1-4) thank you for this video with y'all and Melissa, bc she understands deceit and shares very well. So pleased you got out of the new age trappings. ❤🙏☝✝️
A very interesting point on what Paul said about some churches leaning too far on one thing. I've noticed this as well, but then I came across this scripture (will paste it below the comment) and it made me think a little. I'm still growing in this area, thank you for this video, appreciate the insight😊 Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 1 Corinthians 12:15 NIV It basically talks about different functions of the body of Christ if you refer to the entire chapter. I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts on this.
Have always wondered similarly. I mean what if some preachers have been called to encourage? Coz personally I remember a time I was so shattered and its Joel Osteen's messages that gave me strength and hope
My thought is this, some of us take hard stances about people like Joel. That doesn't mean that we do that without love or respect. No one wants to hear that their favorite teacher is a false teacher, and to have it pointed out by someone can feel like hate, because what if someone that I listen to is deemed a false teacher too. I know that you guys are trying to learn, but don't disregard what those that seem harsh have to say. There are folks that I don't like their rhetoric, but I've learned many things that I didn't think of before by listening to some of them. I can find all kinds of things that didn't get pointed out in the clips provided, but that would take too much time to cover. The last thing I will say, it's a big jump to go from a systematic theology that is Biblical theology to reformed theology, that clearly (maybe not that clear to those that haven't thought about it) is not. Most of all...keep praying and keep learning.
Joel Osteen's preaching is Biblical. You must be talking about another guy by that name. I praise and thank God for the Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church in Houston. God used him in my life to get me through the toughest time of my life in 2021. I will forever be grateful for God and for the wonderful, loving, kind Joel Osteen. You will never hear me say a single bad thing about him ever. Love and peace.
Overall a good conversation. Biggest problem i had was volume control. My volume is all the way up trying to hear paul and morgan. I also would of liked to hear more critiques of the sermon and longer clips than an interview with larry king
I love how Paul used the phrase “inspirational fluff.” I am a Bible study leader for a women’s group and we used to always do the mainstream, big name Bible studies. And one day it hit me, they’re full of “inspirational fluff.” The teacher usually yells with bulged eyes “truths” of Scripture at you. (AKA emotionally-driven, motivational mic-drop phrases to hype you up - taken totally out of context.). You feel all pumped up for the day. But it never satisfies beyond the initial emotional response. Since this realization, my co-leader and I have chosen our own curriculum or simple read through and annotated Scripture with our group on our own, without a book to tell us “how”. We also found Susan Heck’s website and are going through her study of 2 Peter. What a difference! She exegetes the actual Word of God. There’s no fluff at all. You leave feeling conviction and FED by the Word of God, not the words of man (or woman). I say all this to say, that unfortunately our Bible study group membership has dropped significantly. Our ladies want the “fluff”. It’s saddening, to say the least.
We always have to remember that satan is the master of deceit, he always sprinkles a little truth in with the lies so that it sounds good or Biblical. Thanks for the video! I'm recently coming back to God and both or your channels are very helpful and I love the biblical wisdom.
I used to love and listen to Joel everytime too when I first became Christian. In fact my church played his sermons on the radio every day at 2pm and that was something I enjoyed a lot. But the more I grew in christ and studied the word for myself. I started getting repulsed by his teachings. I simply stopped listening to them. It’s like my spirit just didn’t want to listen to it anymore and wanted the actual solid food of the word of God. That was even before I discovered RUclips videos questioning his teachings
@Melissa Dougherty has saved me so much, especially in 2020 when I was church hopping so much on the internet. She is such a blessing!!! I love her so much from South Africa... I love this collaboration!
It has been a long time since I watched him. My assessment of his teaching was that it was good advice but not the gospel. His teaching was self-help, practical advice, but if applied to the gospel and the way to be right with God, it was completely WORKS based and did not require repentance and humility, acknowledging our need and Christ’s sacrifice. Jesus’s works were left out of his messages as was most traditional Christian theology about salvation, Jesus, God, creation, and human beings. Sitting around and waiting for God to do stuff for us is wrong theologically so his self-help approach to the Bible and Christianity is actually helpful to many. However, ignoring the deep problems of sin and Jesus’s sacrifice and giving people a false theology about what it means to be human, that we can essentially save ourselves by our good attitudes and deeds, was Osteen’s great error in my opinion back when I watched him. This sounds good, but ultimately it lays on OUR shoulders the responsibility to save ourselves. That is too great a burden for human being to bear. It required a God Man-Hebrews talks all about that. Is it possible to be balanced? I mean, getting out of bed earlier would help me live a better life, and it may even help me spiritually to discipline myself (this is a command and the example of Jesus), but Jesus’s sacrifice means we need even more help than that to be truly redeemed.
Loving listening to this super interesting. First time I'm in time for the premier and it's when I'm recovering from sergery I had to have over Christmas and I feel like it's gods way of saying I'm doing okay so thank you 😀. Wishing u a blessed new year from the UK
I believe Joel is not a prosperity teacher but a faith teacher. And and I believe that no one should just listen to one preacher a human being for all their spiritual food but go into the word and read it for yourself and create a relationship with God
Hebrews 5:13-14 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Beloved Brethren, One of my Spiritual Gifts is discerning of the Spirits. Many people today say don't judge, yet God gave me this gift to judge righteously- discern (to know) a true man or woman of God from a false prophet-teacher. Listen, we are living in the endtimes and I'm sorry to break this to many of you but 90% of the preachers aired on TV, if not 100% are all false teachers! That is why I don't watch TV. Most Churches today are filled with Freemason Pastors, false teachers! TV is all about deception! Please get in the word, get on your knees ask God to bless you with Spiritual Discernment that you may discern who is true and who is false among you because if you can't discern good from evil, if you don't have knowledge of good or evil pastors, you are in trouble already! And your soul is at stake! False Teachers revealed to me by God personally are Joel Osteen (prosperity preacher) and David E Taylor (he performs signs, miracles ,wonders but leaves out salvation, holiness, repentance, truth). Matthew 24:23-24 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it! For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Others to beware of there false teachings are: Joyce Meyers (prosperity teacher). Benny Hinn (prosperity teacher). Kathryn Khulman (leaves the salvation message out). Kim Clement- (teaches that suicide is not a sin, sadly suicide is the taking of there own lives and in God's eyes it's considered murder). Kat Kerr- (The Lord made known Michael Jackson did not make it to Heaven sadly, however she's speaking the opposite. Also she doesn't teach holiness, she teaches we can live however we want and still make it to heaven). And there's many many more, that I don't have the time to type. Any Pastor aired on TV , or any Prosperity Gospel Preacher or any Signs and Wonders and Miracle pastor that only focuses on Miracles not Salvation message are all false!! Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Wake up people of God!! ~With love, Sister Candy
My question for you guys is will you devote equal time to critiquing John MacArthur's Lordship Salvation and Limited Atonement doctrines? After all, Joel Osteen believes that Jesus died for everybody.
If you are saved and then you can lose it; can you remove the seal of the Holy Spirit? Did Jesus give you eternal or partial life? If you are trying not to lose your salvation? Who are you trusting in? Philippians 1:6. If you think that you are going to lose your salvation it means that it is by works Ephesians 2:8. Hablo español. Disculpas por mí mala gramática de inglés! May God bless you! :)
What’s wrong with lordship salvation? I’m not fully convinced of limited atonement (Mike winger’s approach on limited application is more reasonable in my opinion), but lordship salvation is very biblical. Faith without works is dead and you know a tree by its fruit. If works don’t follow your faith, then perhaps that faith is not genuine😯
The biggest objection to his teaching is he's more of a motivational speaker and not a true Gospel preaching church, which brings up uncomfortable parts of the Gospel (i.e. we are all sinners, God is holy and therefore judgemental, that there is a very real hell) His church is too huge and he writes more books than anybody
I don’t know much about Joel Osteen, but I had a similar experience when his program came on my tv a few years ago. I was amazed that, from the start of his sermon, Osteen’s sermon directed people’s eyes on themselves (ie. the ‘I believe’ statements) instead of on God. It promotes a doctrine of self-promotion instead of a doctrine of self-denial.
Love y’all and loved hearing what you had to say! However. I don’t think it’s fair to say that people at Lakewood can be saved if the gospel isn’t being preached.
❔So does Joel Osteen thinks that a person will be "beaten down" for hearing The whole Truth of GOD's Word? (Joel Osteen said that "people are beaten down enough") ❔Is that the way Joel Osteen thinks of GOD's Word? ....as something 'negative'? ❔Does Joel Osteen despise The Word of GOD, as to withhold the rest of GOD's Word? ....as Joel preaches & exalts his own words above GOD's Word, while trying to suppress GOD's Word? Joel Osteen doesn't want to offend the tither's. He is friend to the world, which is enmity with GOD. Joel Osteen should understand that: "The Word of GOD Is quick, and Is Powerful, and sharper than a two-edge sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul, and of the spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a Discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart."
One thing I love about Joel’s preaching is that at the end he tells the viewer to get into a Bible based church. I personally feel that his preaching is more for those who need god more than those who already know him.
Thank you for your seriousness. You don't condemn loudly ( like other preachers ) , but you study him and his content of preaching and teach us this way , to watch better and check , what we hear and read. Love this ! Shabat shalom
Liked Paul's take @20:20 regarding what happens when there's actually pain attacked to your wait. When a believer does/take the right steps and things doesn't turn out positively, it does challenges one's faith. Question: Would you guys considered doing a video on some Christians' view on words we speak or having the mindset that they don't want to have a conversation on anything negative or just give you the Christian-ese "God's in control" "Just have faith", etc.
Refreshing conversation! I’m tired of heresy hunter’s so this was good. I’ve never been a fan of Osteen but would not call him a heretic. I was a hippie in the 70’s, not raised in church and about as lost as one could be. The Church I was saved in was a Pentecostal Church and one of the first things my Pastor told me was to get a Bible and read it to make sure he was preaching the Word. He always preached the “negative”, and it was most of the sermon but he would end with the answer, the positive. He was accused of being too negative but the sermons were just what I needed to hear. I needed to know their was deliverance from the sins that had grasped my life. I needed to know that God could change me through the power of the Holy Spirit. I needed to know their was a remedy for my wretchedness. We used to jokingly call these sermons bandaid sermons because we had been operated on. What I found was knowing the negatives was a positive because it challenged me and dealt with me and changed me. God’s Word is perfect exactly as it is, it does not need us to make it more palatable. With regard to being on Larry King, any Christian who agrees to go on a show like that had best be prepared for the secular gotcha questions.
I love seeing you guys all together!!! This was such a thought-provoking conversation in more ways than one. I appreciate you guys. I love seeing some of my faves come together!😊 It is really hitting home with me today to hear Melissa talk about the fact that the statistics are so jarring when it comes to the numbers of those who consider themselves biblical Christians, versus the droves of people flocking to mega churches. I went to a private, Christian school and it is so painful, and sad to me to see some of my classmates and friends calling themselves progressive Christians because they are so outraged at things such as "purity culture", for example. Hearing and seeing these things happen is saddening, and also causes me to realize all the more how important it is to know the Bible, and to draw my understanding of God from it, and not from my own understanding, or another outside understanding. Again, I love you guys! Thank you for your ministries, and God bless.
I’m glad y’all had this conversation. This was definitely a convo meant to be had! I’m glad y’all open up on this! I just wanna say that if y’all wanna give someone a try, I’d recommend Pastor Gino Jennings- Truth Of God. I’m gonna warn you that he is harsh to listen to. He SEEMS very condescending at first but if you ignore the tone of his voice for a second and listen to what he is actually saying he always backs his words up with Bible. He also speaks on these topics as well. It might be too much for y’all right now cause it’s tough for me too but I always keep him on stand by when I have questions, concerns or I feel like I’m being lied to. I don’t wanna put him on a pedestal either but no matter how many people I listen to I always go back to Gino cause he helps put things into perspective. Until then I wish the best for you both and I’m appreciative of your channel. I enjoy the tough convos y’all have and how you’re very genuine.
A good measure of whether it is a 'true message' is does it preach the whole word of God, does the person teach against sin, and about living a holy and repentant lifestyle, or do they not mention it, and just talk about blessings, love, and positivity? How would Joel's message help somebody who had about 10 minutes to live, and were about to be executed by ISIS for being a believer? Would it benefit them in their final moments on earth?
Who are you that judges another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Romans 14:4
I always recommend people listening to Paul Washer, John MacArthur, RC Sproul, Justin Peters, John Piper, and a few others whenever I hear someone mention Joel Osteen or anyone involved in the word of faith, prosperity gospel, etc.
@@love.one.another I am neither for nor against God providing material wealth and mankind's understanding of prospering to His chosen people. Let His will be done, not ours. The prosperity "gospel" is not a gospel. It is a different Jesus that is preached and thus leading many to an eternal damnation.
@@andy_p_1989 Joel doesnt believe in a different Jesus. He believes in the one who came from Nazareth who was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. I never heard of another Jesus. What Jesus are you referring to?
I listen to all those people also who have good insights but Joel has more joy than all of them. Why is that? Is it ok for a Christian to be happy, joyful, and content, or do they have to be miserable and destitute?
Such a fabulous video! Thanks for having another collaboration. You guys really vibe well!! I'd love to see more videos together. I thought you dealt really well with this topic. Thnks for staying strong on the truth, but also for keeping it human and respectful. We all need to be praying for Joel. ❤🙏🙏
at the end of the video Paul mentioned the verse about “confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord and you will be saved” but the context of that verse is not an American culture where there’s almost no persecution. the context of it was the disciples being murdered for knowing Jesus. so when it is said that they must “confess with their mouth” literally means “RISK DEATH”!! be willing to lay your life down for Jesus and that is how you will be saved.
Joel Olsteen's abrupt call for salvation around minute 32:00 may have occurred because he lost track of time teaching and looked at an invisible count down clock and realized he had little time to do a call to accept Jesus. Christianity is often taught with a unbiblical poverty mentality. Christians should live just as good as anybody else on the planet. Life should be comfortable.
I am not so sure that heresy hunting is wrong. I think some are called to do so. Polemics and it was practiced by Paul and very early fathers of the faith.
@@PaulandMorgan I think so. Take carm online. Who would know which cults to avoid if people like that were not aggressively seeking out what might endanger the flock? I respect Melissa a lot. I watched her videos on JW 7-8 years ago. She has a good approach and is knowledgeable. I would recommend any of her videos. I wish I was able to dialogue with people like she does because I also have an intense passion for apologetics. I have high respect for her. But I do believe heresy hunting is biblical and some are called. It also doesn’t always look pleasant even when it’s motivation is love and kindness for your neighbors. There is a certain amount of righteous anger when you are aware of someone endangering the flock. Leviticus 19 explains what loving your neighbor is supposed to look like and it’s confrontational if you read the passage. Confrontational can be loving driven even when you must rebuke sharply.
Prise God for saving you.Am really glad I found your channel. These videos you make are very revealing May God bless you and keep you and fill you with more strength to keep on the way of truth and righteousness to the end in Jesus's name Amen. This is a real eye opener. Keep on. Thanks.

Dear God💗❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the , life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
The Bible calls believers Christ's ambassadors. Ambassadors don't get to pick and choose which parts of the message to share. The message isn't ours, its the Lord's and we must faithfully proclaim it in its entirety, no ifs, and or buts about it.
I just made a video about “if you’re a Christian, is it ok to manifest”. I too, came from the new age and got wrapped up in the charismatic and false teachings/prophets bc I was so hungry for the LORD and it was like a “Christian version” of what I was familiar with. When I realized what I was wrapped up in, it was devastating and I almost walked away. But instead, I decided to go deep with the LORD and asked Him to help correct all my false beliefs and quit listening to everyone. He was faithful and it was so incredibly painful, but now I speak out about it a lot on my channel and know that going through it has helped me help others out of it (I pray).
Yay!! Time to listen to it over again! I always get so distracted with the live chat and don’t catch what you all are saying! Especially with those deep voices, haha 😅
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. If there is preaching only a part of the gospel how dies one get saved. That becomes a different gospel.
The issue is not whether a person’s preaching is biblical; but • of Christ, • by Christ and • of His Spirit • and anointing. (Then it becomes aligned more with being biblical and likely align with the 7 core foundational doctrines found in Hebrews 5:11-6:2) • Then is the person aligning with the great commission to make disciples. (To make a disciple of Christ; it must be "Christ" in that person making a disciple after himself.) • Then does that person have a clue about what a disciple is. There needs also some clarity that defines whether they are a believer, a disciple, a workman. • All disciples are believers • Not all believers are disciples • Not all disciples are workmen. • A disciple is a person who has learned three critical maturities: I. How to “deny themselves.” They know what is of the soul and of the Spirit. Their Spirit is over their soul in its right order. Their soul is submissive to their regenerate spirit and their walk is submissive to the Holy Spirit. II. They understand the Cross of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ and its power and narrow way; appreciating His Blood and the Communion He purchased for us to be together with Him and each other. They overcome the battle with the flesh, by the Spirit crucifying its deeds. They know that the meek and lowly way of the cross is the required and established route by the Lord to win spiritual battles. They understand that meekness and lowliness is not only how one learns and walks with Jesus but also keeps unity in the Holy Spirit. III. They have learned how to hear the voice of the Lord. They will not follow another; but only Christ. They hear and do and build on the Rock. (This is where most fall short. The measure of one’s life and substance, connections and accomplishment apart from everything being completely and totally established, authored and directly heard and built by Christ is the measure one is “that rich man” who cannot enter into the Kingdom.) • A workman is a disciple who has become adept at separating out just what is the Lord and what isn’t. They properly divide the Logos divine person of the Truth and walk in union with Him; likely having mastery in many areas of obedience and mature handling of scripture wherein they test and prove everything in a clean submission process, that irrefutably includes their heart coming into alignment unto purity; firstly by the pure leading of the Holy Spirit, then the ways of YHVH God and finally affirmed and defined accurate understanding of scripture. They have learned to master their thought life in that internal meek submission, by taking every thought captive to Christ personally and His Obedience within them, moving upward in maturity to having the mind of Christ.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. Exodus 20:7 We are forbidden from representing God in a manner that is wicked or for our own gain. Joel Osteen is the embodiment of what this scripture refers to. Not only is he misrepresenting God and his word, but he uses his position to gain an absurd amount of personal wealth, even embezzling church donations as was recently reported.
Hey there! I have a question. Would y'all consider doing a video on hell? Specifically all the hells mentioned in the Bible? (Gehenna, Sheol, gates of Hades, Tartarus) etc. I know it's not your usual type of stuff, and it requires a lot of research, but I'm interested in your guy's take on the deep dive. Happy New Year!
Surely a preacher though would explain that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. What an opportunity, on TV in front of so many, to speak the truth, both for the sake of the audience and for the interviewer
I love Joel's sermons and will continue to. Others miss the point when they say he "leaves out hell". His sermons will emphasize certain messages of the bible in order to attract more followers to Jesus. There are after-church services at Lakewood if you want to get really clear on what the bible says. And yet Joel still manages to incorporate bible verses, and encourages MILLIONS of people to walk with Jesus. That's more than most of us will ever say. What saddens me is how many Christians want to pull him down, rather than help him. Though I know this video wasn't meant to bash him, it's helping a one-sided narrative. His sermons can be so much more than new-agey heresy if you give them a chance and go at it with an open mind. Sure, you can have your preferences but please be kind to Joel.
Hi! I would have agreed with you a month ago , but if you actually read his books you understand what he really believes . And for us who are actually seeking Christ , his sermons can help us, the problem is people who don’t know God or are baby Christians Or Christians who don’t know how to repent are in a not so good situation at his church and are being lead astray.
@@way2girly Hi girly! Thank you for your reply. Joel has said that he is not saying mind over matter or being positive. It's getting in agreement with our creator, and releasing our faith and i think that there is room for that. Any mention of "you", is essentially saying "you with Jesus". I can understand where you and others are coming from with repentance however please keep in mind that all that is televised is a 30 minute snippet of his services. There are also songs, tithing, and guest speakers that speak about being born again and repenting. While his books may not include enough bible verses ( I cannot say with integrity that i read his books), I can speak on visiting Lakewood. They are followers of Christ... all that said, i'm willing to accept if others don't see his sermons as a reflection of that.
Joel Osteen has said a lot of things in sermons that are true and inspiring. But at the same time, it's well-mixed with best-sounding worldly teachings to the point that it's made to blend so well with biblical teachings and you will only sense something's not right when you try to apply his teachings but as you read the Bible, you will come across conflicting teachings and it becomes so glaring, you find yourself sitting on the fence beteeen God's Word and Joel's teachings. And i don't think that's right. Lay members like us need the guide of pastors but we need to realize that we can't just rely on what our pastors teach because they're teachings may be flawed and it may not be entirely their fault especially if they've been themselves surrounded by flawed teachings that it's hard to tell what's true from what's totally and/or partially not. God is Almighty and He can use even false teachers to lead us to the truth. I have to say that through Joel my relationship with God has rebounded and after realizing some teachings did not seem right, i learned to start opening my Bible more often than ever before and try to seek the truth independently. By discovering what your misconceptions were, you will find yourself in a better position to discard those things for good once you've discovered the truth

Haha aww thanks for sharing😄 We gotta be in the word!
Very well said🙏
Does it mean waiting for miracle/breathrough is a false expectation?
@@weronikadabrowska5528 not necessarily. God still brings about incredible healing that doctors said weren't possible. So yes we can hope and pray for a miracle. However God works in mysterious ways. We don't know His will. So when things don't happen the way we want them to, we have to learn to accept that and have peace with it. (Easier said than done)

If you take out the hell aspect in the Bible what is Christ saving you from then?

Thank you for sharing❤️
I figured out who Joel Osteen was when I first came to Christ I liked his teachings until I figure it out they didn't line up with the Bible so I stopped listening to him

I’ve been a fan of Melissa’s channel for a while so this new friendship between P&M and Melissa is awesome!! It reminds me of how we’re literally one family in the Lord❤️
Aww love that❤️🙏
I agree with you that it’s no longer the gospel when you’re leaving out the hell part and only focusing on the good-feeling stuff.
Appreciate the comment :)
🙂
😊😊
Thank you for not getting into questioning another's salvation. I know folks who do and it seems so unchristlike. I've watched them ghost people rather than have an honest conversation of concern at someone who may not know something they are listening to might be in unbiblical. Be patient and show them why over time. Lead by example. More people come asking me questions bc I refuse to judge them in the process of learning truth and coming to Christ.
Appreciate the comment :)
I get genuinely excited when ever you post a video...I admire you guys so much! God bless you 🥺❤️
Aww we love hearing that!❤️
Let’s remember that Melissa and Doreen Virtue are brand new Christians.
Appreciate the insight :)
This is how I feel about Joel Osteen’s Church...😥
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. (2 Timothy 4:3)
🙏
Being a Christian is about God…honoring, obeying, trusting, and serving Him for His glory. It is not about us. He is a loving and gracious God and chooses to bless us according to His will sometimes, but the Bible states that we will suffer for His sake. If you’re not being persecuted for being a Christian, it’s time to consider whether or not you’re saved.

Thanks for sharing🙏
John 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.
Between his recent cash hidden in the walls scandal and the scandal where he refused to open the doors of his church after a hurricane, but then changed his mind only after he was very publicly criticized, I don’t think he’s anyone people should be following. He seems to have an issue with greed.
Love y’all’s content and your desires to stand FIRM on the word of God! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, Stephanie!❤️
🙏
But the Bible also does say it’s a sin to say whether someone else is going to hell … no matter what. That was a clear scripture in the Bible.
A very interesting point on what Paul said about some churches leaning too far on one thing. I've noticed this as well, but then I came across this scripture (will paste it below the comment) and it made me think a little. I'm still growing in this area, thank you for this video, appreciate the insight😊
Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:15 NIV
It basically talks about different functions of the body of Christ if you refer to the entire chapter. I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts on this.
Have always wondered similarly. I mean what if some preachers have been called to encourage? Coz personally I remember a time I was so shattered and its Joel Osteen's messages that gave me strength and hope
@@irenenzioka4570 Yes, my thoughts too
My thought is this, some of us take hard stances about people like Joel.
👏🙌
Overall a good conversation. Biggest problem i had was volume control. My volume is all the way up trying to hear paul and morgan.
I also would of liked to hear more critiques of the sermon and longer clips than an interview with larry king
I'm streaming the audio in my car- so cool to hear a great conversation with Melissa, Morgan, and Vin Diesel!
Hahaha epic🤣🙌
🙏
@Melissa Dougherty has saved me so much, especially in 2020 when I was church hopping so much on the internet. She is such a blessing!!! I love her so much from South Africa... I love this collaboration!
😊😊
Appreciate the comment :)
Loving listening to this super interesting. First time I'm in time for the premier and it's when I'm recovering from sergery I had to have over Christmas and I feel like it's gods way of saying I'm doing okay so thank you 😀. Wishing u a blessed new year from the UK
Aww glad you could make the premier, get better quickly❤️
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
I believe Joel is not a prosperity teacher but a faith teacher. And and I believe that no one should just listen to one preacher a human being for all their spiritual food but go into the word and read it for yourself and create a relationship with God
Hebrews 5:13-14
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Matthew 24:23-24
At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it!
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Others to beware of there false teachings are:
Joyce Meyers (prosperity teacher).
Matthew 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
There are definitely a few calvinist doctrines that we are not fans of.
@@PaulandMorgan most common disagreement is if salvation can be lost. That's completely clear in the bible.
The other one is the sovereignty of God in Salvation. We were predestined before world foundation.
Good insight🙏
I don’t know much about Joel Osteen, but I had a similar experience when his program came on my tv a few years ago. I was amazed that, from the start of his sermon, Osteen’s sermon directed people’s eyes on themselves (ie. the ‘I believe’ statements) instead of on God. It promotes a doctrine of self-promotion instead of a doctrine of self-denial.
A hear you, thanks for sharing🙏
Lakewood is a great “1st stop” kind of church! Well said, and PRAISE GOD Almighty that many people go unto more spiritually mature churches. 🙏🏼🙌🏻⛪️
😊
Love y’all and loved hearing what you had to say! However. I don’t think it’s fair to say that people at Lakewood can be saved if the gospel isn’t being preached.
❔So does Joel Osteen thinks that a person will be "beaten down" for hearing The whole Truth of GOD's Word? (Joel Osteen said that "people are beaten down enough")
❔Is that the way Joel Osteen thinks of GOD's Word? ....as something 'negative'?
🙏
hey! just wondering what y’all’s thoughts on joyce meyer are?
One thing I love about Joel’s preaching is that at the end he tells the viewer to get into a Bible based church. I personally feel that his preaching is more for those who need god more than those who already know him.
This is true. It’s for beginners. It’s where I was saved but now I have grown past Joel’s teaching and I have been a member for many years.
Thank you for your seriousness. You don't condemn loudly ( like other preachers ) , but you study him and his content of preaching and teach us this way , to watch better and check , what we hear and read.
Love this !
Shabat shalom
How many souls are you guys winning? How many souls is Joel winning?
Liked Paul's take @20:20 regarding what happens when there's actually pain attacked to your wait. When a believer does/take the right steps and things doesn't turn out positively, it does challenges one's faith.
Question: Would you guys considered doing a video on some Christians' view on words we speak or having the mindset that they don't want to have a conversation on anything negative or just give you the Christian-ese "God's in control" "Just have faith", etc.
Appreciate the comment :) Ohh not sure, that topic kinda ties in with this video😊
What preachers should i listen to? Im really confused right now
I’m curious- what do you believe the Gospel actually is?
I love seeing some of my faves come together!😊
It is really hitting home with me today to hear Melissa talk about the fact that the statistics are so jarring when it comes to the numbers of those who consider themselves biblical Christians, versus the droves of people flocking to mega churches.
🙏
Love it guys, great to see you and Melissa together!! 👍
Thank you, we love her😊
Who are you that judges another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls.
Why are you against God prospering His people?
@@love.one.another I am neither for nor against God providing material wealth and mankind's understanding of prospering to His chosen people. Let His will be done, not ours. The prosperity "gospel" is not a gospel. It is a different Jesus that is preached and thus leading many to an eternal damnation.
@@andy_p_1989 Joel doesnt believe in a different Jesus. He believes in the one who came from Nazareth who was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. I never heard of another Jesus. What Jesus are you referring to?
@@andy_p_1989 if you dont believe the gospel is of prosperity do you believe it is a gospel of the opposite, destitution?
I listen to all those people also who have good insights but Joel has more joy than all of them. Why is that? Is it ok for a Christian to be happy, joyful, and content, or do they have to be miserable and destitute?
You guys should do a video about the “Bible God” you guys said you did a study on, I’d LOVE to hear it and the scriptures too🥰
😊😊
I've always thought
Joel olsteen seemed a little fake and he's so rich
Such a fabulous video! Thanks for having another collaboration. You guys really vibe well!! I'd love to see more videos together. I thought you dealt really well with this topic. Thnks for staying strong on the truth, but also for keeping it human and respectful. We all need to be praying for Joel. ❤🙏🙏
❤️🙏
at the end of the video Paul mentioned the verse about “confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord and you will be saved” but the context of that verse is not an American culture where there’s almost no persecution. the context of it was the disciples being murdered for knowing Jesus. so when it is said that they must “confess with their mouth” literally means “RISK DEATH”!! be willing to lay your life down for Jesus and that is how you will be saved.
That was a very good explanation. Thank you.
Appreciate you sharing
This was very good! I agreed with everything you all said! Thank you for addressing Joel's teachings! God bless you all!
🙏😊
Great to see how you guys are growing so much in the faith and biblical understanding 🙌🏻❤️ Good video :)
Hey brother! Thank you, appreciate you watching. Hope you’re well😊
Hi, new subscriber here from Puerto Rico. I hope you're well, and that you have a good New Years.
God bless + take care :)
❤️❤️
Joel Olsteen's abrupt call for salvation around minute 32:00 may have occurred because he lost track of time teaching and looked at an invisible count down clock and realized he had little time to do a call to accept Jesus.
Christianity is often taught with a unbiblical poverty mentality. Christians should live just as good as anybody else on the planet. Life should be comfortable.
1:38 what a good way of phrasing this question/issue, instead of just going on the attack.
😊
I am not so sure that heresy hunting is wrong. I think some are called to do so. Polemics and it was practiced by Paul and very early fathers of the faith.
Perhaps there is a place for it from certain people :)
Keep on. Thanks.

Repeating a prayer is not the way to salvation. Where is true repentance?
Where do you find any of the Apostles teaching this?
Amen.
I admire your boldness to share yalls opinions. I love you guys sm🤍🙌🏼

Agree that we should treat people with love and respect, but i take false teachers and such seriously. The Bible tells us to mark and avoid them.
The Bible calls believers Christ's ambassadors. Ambassadors don't get to pick and choose which parts of the message to share. The message isn't ours, its the Lord's and we must faithfully proclaim it in its entirety, no ifs, and or buts about it.
Well said🙏
I just made a video about “if you’re a Christian, is it ok to manifest”.
Baha yeah the live chat is fun but it requires some multi tasking which can be tough!😁
@@PaulandMorgan haha, I was thinking, it probably doubles your views because people have to re-watch! Not a bad scheme! 😁😁
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
If there is preaching only a part of the gospel how dies one get saved.
That becomes a different gospel.
🙏🙏
The issue is not whether a person’s preaching is biblical; but
• of Christ,
• by Christ and
• of His Spirit
• and anointing. (Then it becomes aligned more with being biblical and likely align with the 7 core foundational doctrines found in Hebrews 5:11-6:2)
• Then is the person aligning with the great commission to make disciples. (To make a disciple of Christ; it must be "Christ" in that person making a disciple after himself.)
• Then does that person have a clue about what a disciple is.
There needs also some clarity that defines whether they are a believer, a disciple, a workman.
• All disciples are believers
• Not all believers are disciples
• Not all disciples are workmen.
• A disciple is a person who has learned three critical maturities:
The measure of one’s life and substance, connections and accomplishment apart from everything being completely and totally established, authored and directly heard and built by Christ is the measure one is “that rich man” who cannot enter into the Kingdom.)
• A workman is a disciple who has become adept at separating out just what is the Lord and what isn’t.
Would you give Joel a hug 🤣🤣🤣 Paul you got me laughing on that one. Good discussion!
Baha😁
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. Exodus 20:7
We are forbidden from representing God in a manner that is wicked or for our own gain. Joel Osteen is the embodiment of what this scripture refers to. Not only is he misrepresenting God and his word, but he uses his position to gain an absurd amount of personal wealth, even embezzling church donations as was recently reported.
He's a prosperity preacher, enough said.
😊
God wants us to prosper. The devil wants us to fail.
@@love.one.another He only preaches one side of the bible :)
What help is there in a sermon, if the gospel of Christs finished work isn't preached, to save a sinner from hell?
Man y'all are real judges 😃
This ^
It would be a sin for Joel to say who’s going to heaven and hell. He’s not god.
And for us who are actually seeking Christ , his sermons can help us, the problem is people who don’t know God or are baby Christians
Or Christians who don’t know how to repent are in a not so good situation at his church and are being lead astray.
Agreed.
The add that pops up halfway through this video is for Bill Johnson talking about growing in wisdom. I know it’s not your fault. 😆
And that's so sad! It does give people a chance to point out Bill Johnsons blasphemy.
🤣🤣🤣
😄😄
Hey there. What is the good doctrine then?
On earth as it is in heaven. Right? That's our hope.
