I was born in 94 but my sister was born in 87 she showed me biggie when I was very young like 10 or 12 or something he was my favorite rapper growing up him and Pac
even tho faith has a stronger voice than aaliyah, aaliyah has a sexier sweeter voice than aaliyah. And aaliyah voice resonates with this one much better.
Nishi-no-akuma88 no she doesn’t faith voice us more church and stronger, aaliyahs voice is more softer and sweeter like an angelic whisper those at just the facts
This version was so much smoother...Aaliyah's voice was always so sexy over those hip hop beats. It's funny how Faith went on to sample this record on her debut album.
Faith Evans is on The CD/ Explicit Version and Aaliyah is on the Radio/ Video version being Both Aaliyah and Junior MafiA were on the same Label Atlantic Records at the time
@@AR-cy7hz are you stupid? Nicki passes Kim lyrically 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s why lil Kim FLOPPED she can’t change with the times😩 and honestly in her prime she only rapped about getting f*cked and sucking 🐓

I'm looking hard for it also. I seen one listed on Google Music saying "featuring Aaliyah" but when you click the Sample button it's the album version with Faith so if you find it make sure you click Sample to listen to it
This version is cool..But the original goes way harder too me. Faith is just on another level as a backing vocalist (and vocalist in general) to Babygirl. And Faith rides the beat so beautifully, where I don't feel it as so from Aaliyah.
VW DT To be honest Aaliyah put more effort in her riffs, runs, and ad-libs! She sounds"Lush"💐😱! Az fuck... Listen to Faith closely she sounds almost exactly the same threw song😣😑😶
Jeremiah Straight I'll agree with you there. Babygirl definitely put more effort into her vocals in contrast to Ms.Faith's.. but her (Faith's) featured version still has my heart for some reason.
VW DT Yeah Faith is the queen of emotional and feeling! She does have a soulful tune but who knows she prob was annoyed, ppl say her and Kim was beefin' so prob half song💯💯💯
I love this version way better than the album version. No hate to Faith but Aaliyah's soft, smooth, angelic voice just resonates with me.
Actually it was almost the same(NOT DAT SOFT)HER TONE iz jus' way bettah🤷🏾
This version is definitely better. RIP Aailyah
The beat is the star to be honest lol
and she make the last part with the adlibs
@@JeromeyRome9090s always took old songs and remix them and make it more dark or sound like their era
if you under 30, you have no idea how fun and special the 90's was, i loved the 90's!
Facts
No it looked fun my grandma born in 50s even says the 90s is her favorite era
You’re right!! I was born in ‘99 and I wished I was born in 1980-1985 to be a teen in this era !!

This version over Faith. Babygirl’s voice flows better with the track..
Right
Exactly Aaliyah’s voice is more angelic and soulful.
I agree
R.I.P the one of the sexiest and such beautiful voice Aaliyah 😘😔
Lil Kim rapeando y Aaliyah en el background es algo de otro mundo, la voz de Aaliyah super femenina.
There will never be another Aaliyah she’s was special I miss her I love her so much rest up baby girl 💗🙏🏽🌹🕊
Imagine if biggie smalls dropped a verse on this as well, shit would be fire asf!
I use to play this song out back in the day! I miss these times 😔
This really hidden gem.
Thanks for posting! This is the only audio version I could find with Aaliyah.

I mean faith was in her 20’s when she made her version. Aaliyah was only 16.
that makes no sense, aaliyah has a sweeter voice than aaliyah 😑

My Favorite from her
still a banger
why this version isn’t available on Spotify? 🥲 I love Aaliyah’s voice 💖
A A L I Y A H 👑
Aaliyah the queen
Everything about this song is good. Really the 90's was good, 2006 is the year I was born so I didn't even get to enjoy a bit of the 90's😞
Aaliyah gave it that pop appeal to go mainstream. If Faith did it it would have R&B influence. They wanted a pop record. Great.
Man Aaliyah got OFF on the end.!!!!
listen them riffs!!!!
❤THAT INTRO THOUGH!!!
You can still hear faith back vocals on this version. So basically her and Aaliyah are singing it.
This one is a bad boy banger
can we pls just loop n sample aaliyah part😢
The Box Music Channel
love
it
Happy birthday aaliyah
Life sucks fr even at 24 I feel like life never changed just music
Patrice Rushen - you remind me
OH YES
Could anyone point me towards a decent mp3 of this version (the Aaliyah vocal version)? I've looked everywhere and can't find one!

I thought it was Faith Evans. I never knew it was Aaliyah.
Producer1998 Faith Evans was on the album version and Aaliyah was on the single version. Aaliyah also appeared in the video.
+Cru Love how old was aaliyah in the video? 18??
Angle Johnson 16, she turned 16 in 1995
Angle Johnson she was 15 in this song
I love this song, but the So-So Def remix is THEE BEST VERSION!
I agree, I posted that version too.

Patrice Rushen......
The first version I heard was with Aaliyah & that's the one I'd rather hear, no disrespect to Faith Evans because I F@#ks with her too.

Lucas Alves I'm coming around Young God. The OG will always have my heart.. but I'm starting to see why Aaliyah's version may be better.
Still prefer Faith’s voice.. powerful as. Aaliyah nice a soft tone regardless
Faith version better. Love Aaliyah better
