The knowledge these two have on tones and tech guitar and amp settings are fabulous. I learn something every time I watch these two together. Cici and Dave I love you both, so permitting, please keep coming back. Your spirits fill the screen and it's infectious.
I'm a big fan of Free and Bad Company so this is probably my favourite Sound Like video. I always enjoy these journeys into the realms of can Cici and Dave make reasonably priced guitars sound like the band/artist.
I think this is probably the video where they nailed the sounds they were going for the absolute best. Probably much easier without trying to match expensive pedals with cheap, but that bass sound is killer, and that Behringer sounds amazing for the money. Hard to believe such affordable gear can achieve these tones, but it's also the hands of the musicians that make it sound so damn good. Well done, the both of you.
So glad this series is back. Also its great to see Dave on this platform and cici becoming the only woman on the team. As far as Free go, very underrated and slept on band. Finally a little tip to get closer to Kossofs sound is to roll off the tone on the guitar and play on the neck pickup.
They were so RAW and soulful. Great melodies. Andy died a few years back but Paul left way to soon. If bands could play like FREE I'd turn the wireless on again!
The tones achieved by CICI & DAVE are impressive, showing all their talent and experience in famous tones, and that it is possible to have these tones, in cheaper instruments, showing all their quality. They are excellent musicians and deserve all the respect and consideration! Hugs from Brazil !!!
This is so much fun to watch. I even watch this when they try to sound like a band that i don't even like. Such humble and genuine people. Keep on going
Great recreation of the sound and tones of the late great Andy Frasier and Paul Kossoff Cici and Dave!! The Beringer was also impressive. Never saw Free but had the blessing of seeing The Paul Rogers Band who performed Free, Bad Company, and originals exelently. It was unbelievable of how Pauls voice hadn't changed and he was so gracious thanking the audience several times for coming. A real class act and gentleman!!
Simon Kirk was the drummer for Bad Company alongside Paul Rogers...I'd say that was a bit more than just 'been around'..... They have sold over 40 million albums.... That aside I really enjoyed this.
You legends. I requested this in the previous series but now here it is. Super happy. Other vids in this series are awesome but this one's most emotional for me.....
Great job guys! As a lifelong Free fan, I reckon you got pretty damn close to their live sound given the budget. Dave nails the Kossoff vibrato as well. And I reckon Cici must have Andy Fraser’s fingers!
Definitely happy to see this, Paul Kossoff was always so underrated imo so this was awesome but I was surprised that All Right Now wasn't featured since that's the definitive Free riff. Nonetheless, great as usual guys
Cici & D, great sounds like, Bass cud have been upped in the mix on some tracks, but keeping Free alive, is got to be commended, Free they were all gods, but they didn't know it at the time..
You two are the Sonny & Cher of these current times - excellent chemistry, undeniably nice folks, your positive energy is infectious lets buy something then exit through the gift shop.
I want a tobacco burst les Paul so bad, badly for so many years since the 70's, I played one back then, was not mine but i remember it ,It had p90"s on it a wealthy kids parents bought for him. Great video guys..
Your choice of an Ashdown for the focused mids is right on the mark, IMO. I have one of the very last UK-made Electric Blue EB12-150 combos and it has mids for days. Love it with fretless. Thought the tones from the Epi and Behringer were credible. Nice.
These guys are awesome! It appears that Dave needs a signature pair of cargo pants with large cargo pockets in the back for beverages! Seriously though these two are seriously talented and bring me lots of internet joy!
The competition prize should be a day hanging out and jamming at Anderton’s with Dave and CiCi! I’d take that over the Klon every day and twice on Sundays
I saw Paul K. with that beat up LP at IOW 1970. Loved Free and enjoyed their set as much as Hendrix and the Doors. And he used a lot of different open A chords. You may be right. I like to use that one as well.
Paul Kossoff not only used Marshall, but Orange amps for some time... That may have opened Dave up for a few more options like the crush range. Otherwise, Cici is super clued up on her stuff and fantastic playing from both!
Koss got more feeling in one note than most players got in ten notes .for his age he was extraordinary.along with Rory Gallagher they were two of the best rock guitar players at that time hands down .❤❤
❤🔥 Well done. Rock never gets boring, but having a rather large & stupidly diverse palette I would love to see your takes on some of other styles like surf, country, jazz or even rockabilly... Cici on the double bass? 😎
Wow that sounds brilliant. I’m very impressed with the Epiphone LP. What would be interesting is to do a comparison between two sound like rigs, busting and not busting versions
A store as big as Andertons didnt have an Epiphone EB0? Come on now…. Step it up Cap’n 😅 You guys are great together, and nailing that classic rock tone, you dialed it in, the Behringer is kind of surprising. It does have that mid range Marshal cranked tone. Not bad!
Could you add in to all the sounds like a sounds like at bedroom volumes. It would be interesting to see how the without and with versions faired. For a lot practicing this is an important feature. No attenuators allowed.
I loved doing this, Andy is a bass god :)
Lovin the hair Cici! 🙂
You remind me of a wild-child version of Tal Wilkenfeld! Keep it up, you’re a breath of fresh air!
@@ravusursi893 Thank you so much! :)
And it showed. Great job by both of you!
Excellent job, both of you. I can’t believe how how good that Behringer amp sounded.
The knowledge these two have on tones and tech guitar and amp settings are fabulous. I learn something every time I watch these two together. Cici and Dave I love you both, so permitting, please keep coming back. Your spirits fill the screen and it's infectious.

i like cici and dave , theyre cool, talented, sound kind and nice.
Very cool to see people acknowledge this great band and as for a girl who's not only heard of Andy Fraser but can actually play his bass lines - wow!!
So glad this series is back. Also its great to see Dave on this platform and cici becoming the only woman on the team. As far as Free go, very underrated and slept on band. Finally a little tip to get closer to Kossofs sound is to roll off the tone on the guitar and play on the neck pickup.

Off late I have become a fan of Cici. She truly rocks.
i cannot find the link to her hair color products?!
@Mucho Macho is it of late or off late ? Thanks will need to check on my English..
@@Ganesh.krish0212 Of late! She rocks
Very smooth and Cici has such a great bridge tone and feel

i must admit I was surprised by just how close they got, both soundwise and playing. I enjoyed this episode a lot.
Another awesome episode. Thank you Andertons for recognizing Dave and Cici’s immense talents and their warm personalities. So great to see them here!
You legends. I requested this in the previous series but now here it is. Super happy. Other vids in this series are awesome but this one's most emotional for me.....
Best Hosts ever
Really great sounds! Really need to do this as a breaking the bank one. Get Cici and Dave huge Marshall stacks and Dave a Murphy labs Les Paul!
Dave and cici are national treasures
Man that Behringer and Epi sound amazing, just like that. I am blown away as much as ya'll were in the vid. Thanks for sharing that. Fun episode.
Really hoped we were gonna get the full bass solo on Mr. Big, but it was still one of my favorite videos you two have done
Really credible rendition... I'd forgotten how much I loved Paul Kossoff's playing. 10/10... Thanks both.
Free is one of my favourite bands and you seem to have both nailed the tone well done to both of you 👍👍
I love the simple plug in and crank signal chain. Some days, simple is best.
Great job guys! As a lifelong Free fan, I reckon you got pretty damn close to their live sound given the budget. Dave nails the Kossoff vibrato as well. And I reckon Cici must have Andy Fraser’s fingers!
wouldn't be a dave video without his phone going off!! haha Awesome as always Dave and Queenie
Another awesome Sounds Like...... Dave nailed the Kossoff vibrato.
Thanks for the presentation, folks
Awesome session with Cici & Dave!
👍🏻👍🏻🥰👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ahhhhh so glad you played Mr Big. Magical stuff ❤
Very nice couple and another great video! Sounded really good.
Love how much energy you guys bring to these. Always look forward to hanging out with you two!
There was a chemistry between you both this episode. Really enjoyed the show and the great. Could finally hear the bass!
Fantastic! Great homage to Koss, Andy and a stellar band. Just shows it’s the magician not the wand.
Yuss ! ... ... &... Yuss ! ... ... Good choices... Guitars... ... & ... AMPs ......
Definitely happy to see this, Paul Kossoff was always so underrated imo so this was awesome but I was surprised that All Right Now wasn't featured since that's the definitive Free riff. Nonetheless, great as usual guys
Super interesting. You guys have so much fun.
Such an under rated and under appreciated (outside of musicians) band!
No matter which instruments you choose you sound just perfect.
Cici & D, great sounds like, Bass cud have been upped in the mix on some tracks, but keeping Free alive, is got to be commended, Free they were all gods, but they didn't know it at the time..
Again -- you all nailed the tones with incredibly precise playing. Great job.
Love the show, hope there will be more in the future!!
that was bloody brilliant mate!
Got stoked immediately. Very, very cool.
Best one yet!! Can’t say I’ve ever been into Free; I’ll have to have more of a listen now.
This sounded amazing - well done
But Omg do a spin-off video with a full two minute bass solo like God intended - it’ll break the internet
Your choice of an Ashdown for the focused mids is right on the mark, IMO. I have one of the very last UK-made Electric Blue EB12-150 combos and it has mids for days. Love it with fretless. Thought the tones from the Epi and Behringer were credible. Nice.

This was brilliant! Love Dave and Cici and Free
You two have nailed it !!
Both sounds nailed! Well done guys!
That was astonishing, especially Mr Big, you should do it with a full band. Killer tones and playing, 5-star rating.
Great vid. Love watching Cici and Dave
Great show. Love Dave and Cici, they do a fantastic job. The two of them are super talented and are just really good people. Thanks Andertons.
Sound wise this was the closest of all the "Sound Likes" so far. They really hit it on the head. Great job.
I woke up the other day and all I could think of was Paul Kossoff. I am in awe.
So awesome, great tones and playing from both of you.
This video actually shows you that,...its all in your fingers. Literally.
I saw Paul K. with that beat up LP at IOW 1970. Loved Free and enjoyed their set as much as Hendrix and the Doors. And he used a lot of different open A chords. You may be right. I like to use that one as well.
You two rock, oh and we watch Time Team reruns all the time.
Once again you prove that it‘s skill over gear!!!
I love the control plate on that Squier. If they did a PJ version of this with a jazz style nut width, I’d beat down the door for one!
THAT BEHRINGER AMP IS KILLER AT THAT PRICE , AND CC AS USUAL KILLER ON THE BASS .
thanks, rock on guys.
Another great Sound like... It's good to have someone explain the background to getting the sound and can play the tracks in the correct style.
Wow.., Queenie looks fantastic! 😎
I was not expecting that behringer/Les Paul 60s to sound that good tbh wtf?!
Their knowledge is impressive to behold.
Loving sound like. You guys got it so good
Love Cici and Dave!
Paul Kossoff not only used Marshall, but Orange amps for some time... That may have opened Dave up for a few more options like the crush range.
Otherwise, Cici is super clued up on her stuff and fantastic playing from both!
LOL...Nailed it yet again! Good job guys!
Amazing job, especially for the budget!!
Those 2 make my day. awesome job
Koss got more feeling in one note than most players got in ten notes .for his age he was extraordinary.along with Rory Gallagher they were two of the best rock guitar players at that time hands down .❤❤
That was great, nice playing you two
These 2 are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the great work guys, love it.
That was BRILLIANT
Bravo, well done. Great information on replicating the sound of Free on a budget!!
Awesome sounding gear for the money!!
Really enjoyed this one 👍
For the players by the players. QUALITY
Great stuff guys - really enjoyed you two rockin out to mr big ! Thank you thank you
Sounds great, guys!
I love this series. Any chance we can get a FNM sound alike. Love to here your take on Billy Gould bass tones!
Although I'm more of a modern metal guy, at the end of the day, nothing beats the rock/blues sound - just guitar/bass and amps. 🔥
yes kossoff... frasier.. awesome episode.
That's a beautiful bass
Andy Fraser also wrote « Every Kinda People » for Robert Palmer 😎
A store as big as Andertons didnt have an Epiphone EB0? Come on now…. Step it up Cap’n 😅 You guys are great together, and nailing that classic rock tone, you dialed it in, the Behringer is kind of surprising. It does have that mid range Marshal cranked tone. Not bad!
Love these videos. Maybe not rock/metal but I'd love the team to do a Sound Like Julian Lage. His tone is so beautiful.
Cici Is Amazing n I Dig the hair! N Dave Rocks!
Love these! Please do a Sound Like King Crimson ('72-74 lineup, with John Wetton on base)!
What a great team.... Enjoyed every minute....
I love Time Team! I live in Arkansas.
