- DIY PAINT JOB FOR LESS THAN $100!! happy friday everyone! the video you all have been waiting for and i'm sure it killed not to know what colour is was going to be, but here ya go! YES I AM STILL PLANNING TO COME TO VANCOUVER waiting on the right parts to show up on craigslist, cause my plans have changed about 69 times. so thanks for watching guys and subscribe for more!
My body shop teacher used to say when we were unsatisfied with a paint job, hed say just remember how it looked before! Its not always about having a chip foose quality paint job. Its just about making ur ride look a lil better especially if the paint is beat
thats an awesome way to look at it
Hopefully you dont tell your customers that if you open a body shop
Dear Lord people.... I used to run a large paint and maintenance shop, and you know what? This guy did pretty damn good for spray bombing an old truck in his yard... on the lawn no less. I love the comments about wet sanding etc.... did anyone not notice he is doing this on the grass, under the trees, in the back yard?!! wet sanding?! The fact that is it actually turned out relatively clean without all the dust etc, that is amazing.
Nope. He did as good of a job as anyone can expect from a backyard “rattle can” job. Anyone criticizing this job has never painted, rebuilt or restored anything. Let alone properly in a fully equipped proper shop professionally. If you did, you know exactly how well this young fella did on this in his backyard, and what the difference is in cost on bringing it in to have it done professionally, or build his own shop to do it properly.
Good job. Need more young people taking pride in their possessions and be willing to put a little elbow grease into it to make it better and take a chance on doing something new. Hell, even if all he did was to learn how to do it better next time. Better than sitting around on Facebook wasting his time isn’t it?
Once again, Good job. Ignore the idiots. The internet is full of them. Keep up the hard work and learning. Take solace in the knowledge that most on here criticizing will never know a damn thing beyond pointing fingers. Because quite frankly, that’s all they know how to do!
wow, thanks so much for the positive feedback, i really appreciate that you took the time out your day to leave such an awesome comment on my video. it means a lot. its people like you why i continue to make youtube videos. i learn something new along the way with each paint job i do. once again, thanks. much appreciated.
You are wise im glad theres positive people still out there i think he done awsome especialy for what he had to work with and it kills me how dickheads in the comment sections of and especially any automotive video and start critizing peoples work when we all know that those dudes doing that are just attention whores who are insucure about how bad they suck at life but anyways good to see someone say what ive been thinking also idk if anyone wpuld be interested or not but im thinking about uploading some of my upcomming projects on the tube still gotta get a camera and editing stuff and im still in the process of remodeling a home to move into so shits hetic lol but i got a 76 harley ironhead chopper to build and a 89 f150 to do some work on so hopefully one of these days i can get this stuff rolling.
RESPECT...., my pops painted pro since i was born to the day he passed and id like to think i picked upa thing or two and i absolutely agree with you sir. I even tried it once myself on an old toyota tercel and this kids work is tits...!!
I agree with the first dude and a couple tips try and make long sweeping passes while painting and dont start painting until you are absolutely done masking and a face mask
John Doe i plan on doing my truck, will spray can Rustoleum 2x gloss primer inclided work?
I give it 3 trips to the carwash before it blows off.
mansonmydog lol I painted the truck like a year ago and the paint hasn't changed at all
What about now anything changed?
As I've ran mine through 15 times and is getting more shiny
I did my pickup 4 years ago with rattle cans, zero prep and no primer and it’s just not starting to look crappy again
For what it is, it looks good. Especially the blue. Glad you put the video up man.
exactly, for what it is, its fine, so thanks for the comment
Reading the comments, everyone is so harsh about this, it's common sense if you take your time with the preparation it will turn out way better, along with taping everything off and using a clear coat at the end, but for a quick paint job costing less than 100$, this isn't such a bad job done, especially compared to what it was before, my 83 k10 was painted with white box liner and it turned out very rough, thinking about shaving the popcorn down and painting over the box liner for a nice look while keeping box liner for solidness
Matthew Osmond yeah exactly I don't know why people are so butt hurt about it, I don't know what people were expecting for $100
A quick job loke this i think the outcome is just nice. If he took more time for preparation, it will be much better.
If this was your first attempt at spraying, then I'd say good job brother! Brush off the haters, everyone starts off somewhere and if you had fun doing it, that's all that matters! Cheers brother!
BBK
Savage Fix N Flips
thanks man
Fax bro u did a pretty good job especially not being a painter
In the other videos i watched the clear coat really brings it out
If you didn't half ass the preparation I'm sure it could've came out great...
Umm wat
it is great though
Rhett Shopland
Stephen Ellis
exactly. and don't wait till the paint is completely dry to pull the tape.
All the pros upset cause they do exactly the same thing behind closed doors and charging thru the roof
Iain Mcfly basically haha
If Maaco are pros then yes
I got a '79 GMC that is going to get rattle canned O.D. with black bumpers. BUT I'm going to use zinc chromate green primer first over the bondo used to fill the rock chips in the original paint. No rust yet except the rock chipped areas (truck was used to haul pea gravel before I got it cheap). Gonna replace the window regulators, too. They are just about unusable on both sides. I got a pair of west coast mirrors from a Volvo tractor truck that will go on, too. Gonna be a cool paint job for here in Alabama. Truck has a strong drive train with lokkers in the rear diff, be good in the woods and towing my 18' boat. I love square body trucks.
sounds great
Sick asf🔥 you should use bed liner for the truck bed
So expensive tho, that's why I don't want to
Good job man, learning as you go. I have a Chevy 1500 1996, am painting with cans also, all truck bed black, looking nice so far, doing panel by panel and am going to prep the chrome bumpers too, nice project on your truck
thanks man
I have a 97 k1500 and right now it looks like an old man truck. Duo tone green and brown.
Been debating rattle canning it for a while because of the prices the “pros” want.
This is it. This made my choice for me. Thanks man. 😂
Not to shabby! I'm thinking about doing this with my old Ramcharger just so it's not as big of an eye sore; but a few tips that may help, one: Paint from the top down (so you don't run it risk of touching a freshly painted panel), two: if rolling always finish each stroke in the same direction (makes it more uniform), and three: I found that if you're using tape it's best to take it off while the paint is still wet if you can others wise the paint may actually adhere to it and chip off with it. Just my 2 cents. All in all it looks pretty damn good, cheers!
Darkangels path thanks man!
its his car and he was free to ruin it...but to him it came out "mint" so thats what is important. its HIS truck HIS job and hes happy with it....which is what matters. show it to a body guy and he will roll over in a grave but its completely irrelevant.
alextheromanian thanks dude much appreciated, I think most of these retards couldn't do it as nice as I did so they get pissed off
TrucksAndTuners 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 as nice as you? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The paint job belongs to TrucksAndTuners. The only thing that matters is whether he is happy.... not what all the Critics have to say. It is his truck. It is his time he invested. It is his money. Only he knows how long he will keep the truck. Only he knows why it is not worth $ 2,000 to invest. As for body shop guys cringing, they are the worst bunch of criminals in the automotive industry. Insurance companies hate them, and their thievery. Good for TrucksAndTuners. Great blue colour. I think I will use that colour myself. Bill Simpson, Toronto.
I spray painted my bumpers, grill and rims and mine turned out amazing. I wet sanded as prep then washed with soap and water, taped off everything and went to town. I’m planning on doing the rest of my truck too so I just browsing around to see some do’s and don’ts. I live in apartments so I’m gonna be out in the parking lot, with the wind and bugs. You gave me a little faith cause it didn’t turn out so bad. Spray paint has a bad rep, but if you follow the label directions, do your prep and take your time the shit comes out fucking dope. Cheers to rattle can paint on vehicles!
haha best of luck!
I'm gonna have nightmares for the rest of my life from that painting
Looks sweet! Now I'm debating just buying spray cans for mine than rolling haha wtf
Dude the spray cans gave such a better product than the brush and roller, but it's your call man :)
Cole G no rollers!!!
Never roll paint or brush paint a vehicle, that's like old tractor shit
I have a 96 Impala that's no longer running. I'm in the process of sanding it down and doing body work on it. Definitely going to give this a try. Not gonna lie I'm going to do at least 2 days of prep before I spray but I think your paint job turned out great.
Gary Aaron it'll probably turn out great if you put in the time
TrucksAndTuners hopefully bro
It looks so sick. I just bought a similar GMC truck and looking to do the same work/paint job! Thanks for the good Videos gives me ideas!!
Noah Simao haha I'm glad you enjoyed man :)
What kind of spray you used for your Truck?
Noah Simao beauti tone rust coat
when you removed the tape and the blue paint came up, that was because the surface you painted was not prepared. The paint couldnt hold on or stick so it pulled up.
also, have to be really careful that the paint does not adhere to the tape edge. Since you were painting black, the blue should not have adhered to the tape, this brings us back to surface preperation...
Turn the music down when you're talking bud
It sounded fine when I was editing but clearly it didn't when I watched it on youtibe
this is fuckn shit work hahahaha
Selena Tellez hahahaha fuck you
seriously bro,you gave it about a 2/10 in effort then put a fucking video up .what the fuck do you think people are going to say to you, that it looks good?it looks like total shit and was a waste of time friend, google things that you have ho idea what to do,practice on something smaller, spend time
on prep and you will get tolerable results.
TrucksAndTuners dude shit looks bad ass fuck these fuckers who are hating on if u spray paint or not I like to see them get out and do it
Finally you've been killing me! Looks good!
Thanks hahah was it worth it?
Oh yes.
Looks amazing ! One of the best rattle can jobs I have seen, really good quality, apart from where that shit paint fucked it up a bit, also, paint the whole bed with that rocker guard stuff, it's more durable so you do t have to worry about damaging the job as much when things are in there
thanks, it turned out really good i think, and i was gonna do rocker guard on the box, but its like 10 bucks a can and would probably take like 5 at least, so thats why i didnt go that route. i don't put much stuff in there except when i go camping then its crammed full haha
+TrucksAndTuners no problem man, and damn, 50 bucks just for that? WOW, I get ya, all these people saying rattle cans can't do good paint jobs... HA, I laugh at them 😂
exactly!! its like wtf i have heard nothing but bad things about spray paint, and then i do one for my first time and its like.... this. is.AMAZING, totally reccomend it
+TrucksAndTuners well, just proves that people who say it's crap are just crap at painting then 😂 do you think you will ever take all the badges and emblems off and spray them in a chrome / silver? And maybe the door handles too? Could look sweet
i already have plans for those, they won't be chrome, but you'll see what i mean soon :) truck looks so badass now its so sick. im still looking for wheels, having a really hard time finding some
Take the tape of right after the last coat of paint. Dont let it sit on the car until everything drys... That's why the blue pulled up.
yeah wish i knew that
The Earl Schieb of rattle cans.... lol
bones007able whatever that means...
THAT PAINT JOB IS JUST MINT GREAT WORK
garry ibbetson thanks
Looks super good for rattle
thanks
$100 paint job. Personally I think it looks like at least $200. So you are winning.
YES
I'm guessing you can wet sand paint from a can to get rid of all that orange peel and make it look much better.
Paint looks sweet. Love the truck
thanks man, i appreciate it
Thanks for sharing...I can learn from your mistakes but I am positive I will have many of my own. I have an old Chevy Truck that I don't want to spend much money on but I need to cover the rust and repaint and seal it. I really don't care on a great paint job so I think I will be doing what you did. Thanks for showing how many cans you used. Most do not show that. I need to make sure I don't run out during the painting time.
sweet! glad to help out man!
TrucksAndTuners lol...well I'm a lady but yes...thanks so much!
The Universal Homesteader If you haven't already done it just make sure to watch a few videos about it. And practice a bit so you get a handle on spray cans, assuming you aren't already professed in the art of the rattle.
4go101 I have done smaller projects like a bathtub but not any autos. I do love watching videos to help learn before I try things. Thanks for the booster. I am trying. You can see 2 videos on me trying to paint sections of my truck...still have a lot more to go. Just bought more paint to get another few sections done.
Great job and idea for vehicles that are not worth much. If it looks better and does not cost much, I'm all for it.
looks good. I had my cummins professionally painted on the top (above the doors) on the bottom I tried to do it myself but it turned out garbage. how thick is the rocker guard? I feel like that will hide alot of imperfection. awesome that its in a can. nice job
rocker guard is such good shit, it'll hide tons of imperfections, and you can paint over it, id defs reccomend it
+TrucksAndTuners thanks my brother. been watchin ya since the beginning keep growin'
Oh I know man, I remember your name from way back, and I appreciate you stickin around :)
Use WD-40 to take off the overspray. its wipes right off. but don't wait to long.
shinedown389 got it
He wasn't trying to be a professional ab it he was just seeing how it would look and in my opinion it looks a hell of a lot better than it did b4
Dalton Sutton yep thanks man
Not a problem great job!!
i painted my whole old truck in rocker guard and I painted over the rocker guard gloss black it looked amazing I stood back on the last couple coats so it had a bed liner like texter held up for 4 years and is still going.
Yeah rocker guard is really good shit, I was so close to doing the whole truck in it after I saw how good it went on after one pass by
for a 100 bucks u can go to a paint supply store n get a single stage ready to spray gallon of paint don't do this unless u don't care about ur truck
Looks good bud. Gonna go all the way with mine sand old paint off put the primer then paint then clear coat , looks mint bud thank you for sharing 😎
sure buddy no problem
......now just wait for the show trophies to roll in!!! lol
YEP
I enjoyed your video..I'v painted many projects over the years. For what it is it looks grest! Always start from the top down to minimize over spray, peel your tape mid cure to lesson the chance of peeling the paint just FYI..I'm realing curious if the paint job held up? Did it peel, fade..really curious about the paint product it self. Great job. Jason
jew395 the paint never peeled faded or did anything like that for the year that it was on, when I sold the truck it looked the same as the day I painted it!
How cool! I am painting my chevrolet just the same, so it was so funny to find your video with the same black under and blue on sides...How many spraycans did you use??
not many, single cab short box only took like 10 cans total i think
I really hope nobody used this as a guide to paint their own truck. You did next to no prep work (that is one reason why your black paint didn't lay down correctly), you used the wrong paint (second reason your black didn't lay down correctly), and you didn't mask off anything after laying down your first color ( not the paints fault you were left with overspray everywhere). And why would you not spray a clear coat???? The first time you go to wash the truck that paint is gonna come right off. I hope to God nobody takes direction from this....
Jordan McBride well, it seems this video is starting to pick up steam, I guess you never read any of my replies to any other comments you inbred fuck up. Didn't clear coat in case I wanted to change colour. Yes the black was the wrong paint which is why the rust paint went on so much better (live and learn). And I've had the paint job for 6 months now, and guess what asswipe? ITS HOLDING UP GREAT SO FUCK OFF AND SHUT THE FUCK UP
Oops looks like I pressed your butt hurt button.
Hey what you do with your sister is non of my business, you keep on shuckin that corn bud. At least I'm not the one driving a shit box with a half-ass paint job.
Jordan McBride no but on the real I just bought a 96 F350 460 BB XLT 1 ton and it has a rattle can job, looks decent from about 10'. but I'm about to drop like 3K and get a nice factory period correct two tone paint job. fuck this loser
Jordan McBride I'm sure the trucks bad ass I've owned a few but needs lots of prep
Buy 2k clear and itll come out even better
Michael Martinez oh yeah it definitely would have
Great job don’t forget a little bit of clearcoat it will make it look so much better 👍🏻
Thanks for the tip
Well that’s me inspired. Fuck it, I’m gonna do my 2009 i30 as my January project !!
haha nice! best of luck!!
You can use a razor blade to scrape paint off of glass, FYI.
yeah that is a good tip
Shoddy prep work aside next time walk the length of the vehicle with the well shaken can( get fan spray if you can) long overlapping strokes. I paint with rattle cans exclusively. It can be done and turn out great. Fan spray paints are a Good send. Cheers!
thanks!
Love the color man looks sick as hell. Do you have any social media that we can follow to show our support and maybe get some sneak peaks of upcoming projects. Love the way this channel goes, good work!!
Thanks man :) and no Facebook, no Twitter, no snapchat, only Instagram that we barely use but you can follow us anyways, @seandan19 @ty_cormier
You've given me hope. This might be the dumbest idea I've ever had but I want to spray paint my oldsmobile purple. Now I see that it can be done. :D
Sabrina Burnisky yes! It can be done, and it can be done for cheap! Next vehicle I paint is probably gonna be lime green, or purple like you
How has the color held up since September?
Sabrina Burnisky colour? Spectacular. Hasn't faded one bit, even without clear coat. However it has chipped in some spots, so if I were to do this again I would add some clear coat, but if you're on a budget, don't worry about it
Sweet. I'm gonna do it.
Sabrina Burnisky good for you
You can get excellent looking results from rattle can spray paint. The problem is that it won't last. It will visibly oxidize with a year or two, it scratches and chips easily, you'll often get crazing from chemical interaction with mystery substances underneath, and it's extremely vulnerable to solvents (e.g. gasoline drips). You might conceivably be able to scuff the paint and shoot rattle can 2k (two-part, catalyzed with isocyanates that can kill you) clear over it, but it's a gamble as to whether or not it will be chemically compatible.
SatansSpatula so your saying the spray max 2k clear may react with the existing clear in the car?
Hmmm....I wouldnt say this is good nor bad. I got an estimate on my car for a paint job for $3500.
You know what? Im gonna paint my car myself. Mwuahahah 🤔🤔🤔🤔😂
see exactly! i would rather paint ym car 35 times with 35 different colours then pay someone that money to do it for me once...
TrucksAndTuners I mean sure.....it's not going to be like show car professional painted....but at the end of the day...it is your car. Seeing you do this, I'm going to have to step up and try it out myself!!! lol
Just get a black pinstripe for the paint line. Cover it right up
hahah that would work
pin strip from auto zone will do that chiping from the tape line good
Kenny Banks sick
Looking at the trees, wind is horrible. Guarantee it doesn’t have a smooth finish due to the dry overspray all over.
it was good lol
Cool color! Nice job!
thanks man
Thanks for the inspiration,; but i'm using a paint gun for sure.
alright thanks
show any body guy this and watch them cringe
The fact that you're one of those fuckboys that say "cringe" is cringey AF
Hey don't get mad at me cause you fucked your paint job
Paint job turned out great for $100 you dumbass gtfo of here
for a hunder dollars sure but why cheap out on paint why not do it right?
+Sean Betker cause not everybody can afford a professional grade paintjob...
looks good. I can't hear very well, did you mention how long you waited into the drying process you waited to pull the tape? I'm too scared to do a gloss rattle can job, but after watching this, I may change my upcoming flat olive drab tj job to a gloss tj job.
Matt Knight probably like 20 mins or so? I'm not really sure, I'd totally reccomend a gloss job, not sure why people only do rattle can jobs in matte colours, they look tacky
If Im not mistaken, Maaco will paint it quite well for 299. You do nothing but drive it in, then the next day drive it out. By the time you add up all the paint, tape, and time you spent, the difference is negligible. I give you a D for effort (or lack thereof) and another D for results. I will give you credit for the fact it probably looks good from 100 feet away.... or more.
we dont have "maaco" in canada, thats a yankee thing
You like your truck and thats all that matters bro 👍
Tennessee 812 thanks haha
We all can agree that he changed the colors on the truck and as of May 7th, 2020 he had over 192,000 views. Mint paint job, probably not.
wow that many views? hadnt realized so many people saw a $100 paint
If he's happy that's all that counts its his truck always a bunch of haters that's what's wrong with this country
Jimmy Davis yep everyone's a critic
No!!!! Not everyone is a critic, just don't lie in your video description saying mint when it's one of the worst can jobs I have ever seen top to bottom. You can get very close to perfect results with cans if you take your time and don't skip any steps in the process. In fact I have a can of color matched paint coming soon to repair a deep scratch in the drivers door for my Son's 1998 Mustang GT Convertible. Buy auto paint in a can if you are able. Cost me $35 for the color paint and it has a hardening agent in it as well. Also buy adhesion promoter, a good primer and a clear coat finish at least 1k but preferably 2k. Buy a sanding block for a few bucks, 200, 400, 1,000, and 2,000 grit wet sand paper. It will look like a factory finish when done. I bust your bawls a bit but would just like too see ya do it well. It's worth it.
did you put clear enamel or clear coat on after?
nope
good job man I got Chevy 1500 and the paint is all faded I like what u did to urs blackout of whiles smoked headlights taillights 3rd brake light smoked and white letter tires be amazing
Terry McFarland dude those are literally all things I want to do!! The 3rd brake light smoke, and the tire lettering I'm really considering buying some it would contrast with a lot of the black theme I have going on!
TrucksAndTuners I just seen the video called truck stance with the big tires it looks really nice I'm going to do the same but with black and grey and they have really nice smoked taillights and headlights crystal 3000 they are amazing
Terry McFarland yeah that'll look awesome man :) good luck
It looks like you might have gotten into a hurry (eager to see results) to start painting before prepping?
Also, what about clearcoat, then sanding/polishing to remove orange peel?
Bad DFW Mid-Cities Drivers there was no orange Peel effect on the paint job... And I could have clear coated if I wanted to spend an extra $50 but if I wanted to change the colour it would be easier to do so without the clear coat
You should paint the wheels black. That'd be sick.
I think black wheels with some white tire lettering?
black plasti dip...easy and cheap
Looks good ,nice job
thanks buddy
The paint job looks good.
thanks
I like how, many videos about spray painting your car have generally negative comments, it's hilarious.
GloryOrBust yep it's great
Hey, while you're waiting for parts on craigslist.com, check out Amazon.com. Sometimes you can get new for cheaper than craigslist, and, also cheaper than the dealer.
G Hutchison I mainly buy all my stuff from eBay, amazon is more expensive than eBay, but has faster shipping, not worth it in my opinion
yeah this hurt to watch guy didn't even wet sand
alex balkam so what
youre worried about wet sanding? ive painted all my vehicles without wet sanding thats a rookie thing for you to to complain about. but i think he could have done a better job if he picked out the products he chose a little more wisely and prepped. clean off dirt first then get a 400 grit sanding block and scuff everything really well or use DA 400 grit. you dont need to go metal or even to primer for that matter. clean with acetone very well. then paint you CAN rattle can but you have to watch out for splatters and shit nozzles so pick a good quality rattle can paint or use a paint gun. deffintley pick something gloss blue or metalic blue so it doesnt look so dull then clear coat it about an hour after your paint and you can get a nice looking job. you dont need to wet sand just make sure you hit and knock off the build up of debris from your sanding block every now and then
Linuxx For you to call someone out on making a rookie mistake while admitting you've never tried it in the same comment shows the true rookie. Wetsanding is required to give a mirror finish with cheaper paints and rattle cans/rolling on. I've done both and either way can look good but there's no question in my mind that wetsanding makes all the world of difference.
alex balkam if he would have wet sanded it would have taken every inch of paint he put on off because no clear coat lol I cringed the entire video
love that color blue looking to definitely do this to my ram in the future was the color called anything special on the can?
ummmmmmm i think i was true blue? not sure, it was just some shitty rust paint haha
+TrucksAndTuners alright haha I was excited to see the color can't wait to see it when its all done I really liked the rams you had in the past they turned out really good when you finished them hope to do stuff like that in the future keep up the great work and great vids!
up in Canada where I'm from spray paint is 16 bucks a can
Ashton Falconer dude I'm in bc, I know, it's stupid expensive, you buy it when it's on sale
Look up " Rattle Can Paint Jobs can look good ( Part 2 ) ". That's my truck that I Rattle Can Painted and it turned out amazing...
alright then
It is pretty tricky doing a 2 tone pain job... but you did real good
All I wanna know is how much over spray got on the camper? Sounds like a lot of wind in the video
Harpe 442 none at all haha
Pull that tape when its still wet and it will have way nicer edges, not a bad job from a can thats for sure.
thanks dude
all the haterz comments but what they need to understand is this is done by rattle cans its not gonna be perfect its gonna have some flawz nice job man not to bad.
chris harmon thanks dude, yeah I don't know what they all expected, but for what it is it came out awesome
TrucksAndTuners well its not like you were in a paint booth with an air compressed painter it was rattle cans...again for rattle cans id say it looks good..
Does it have that sticky spray paint feel?
Dominick Fechser nope, nice and smooth
Not bad looks sick
Armando Medrano it looks real good
Overall looks good can't be to mad try watching some other people's videos to learn steps to prevent some of the stuff that went wrong 90% of painting is prepping which is super shitty but for a 100 dollars I've seen much worse
thank you i appreciate it
Atleast it looks better, not bad at all.
thanks
Just hey a thin brush and use a paint brush and paint to correct where the black paint fell through the tape
Yeah I'll take care of it pretty quick here
Nice job was it done in one day or two
Derrick Floyd 1 day
you can get chrome spray paint.
redleg e.g. smith yep I know
Typical youtube commenters. Video shows you how to do a relatively decent job on the cheap and people complain that they didn't do the things that would have made it not cheap.
yep, exactly. and thanks
It looks like a million bucks $$$ ... well, at least under a hundred $. Nice try and thanks, now I won't try it.
good for the price i recommend buying a paint gun and paint for just a tad bit more money
but u are happy and that's all that matters ignore all the assholes that don't have a budget and live off daddy's money
UNDER Z3RO thanks man :)
no prob u earned a subscriber i have a 1994 singlecab chevy c3500 so i like to watch vids of peoples ideas and stuff to kinda steal ;)
UNDER Z3RO Hahaha fair enough bud ;)
not too bad for a quick paint job. but there were a few things that you easily could've done that would've avoided the over spray and white showing where you taped it off. not too bad though
SVT Cobra Lover no it was great
love it my dude
Good I'm glad
Wtf did u do to ur truck! 😭
Which all spray cans do I buy from the store for this ?
beauti tone rust coat spray paint, works great
not bad thinking about painting my 91 Chevy with spray can
Roberts Woodsman do it do it do it!
TrucksAndTuners just haven't decided on colors
I'm about to paint mines its in the same condition yours was I got a small block 350 in it
Nice dude it'll look good you won't regret it
Just a tip if you every do this again use dupli-color
Notsavagepinks duplicolour is junk and also more expensive
DUDE IT LOOK SO MUCH BETTER GRAY PRIMER.
Rick T yeah it looked good
what type of paint did you use?
Shitty rust paint
You did do a clear coat right?
nope
Mint? Don't you mean SQUINT?
Shannon Lane nope I meant mint
